Does anyone have what an exercise machine called a gazelle is????? I have one outside in the veranda and I'm wondering if it is worth pulling it into the house??? It's pretty heavy so if it's junk I'll leave it there and sell it in a yard sale in the spring!

Good Morning Ladies,

I'm ready to start a brand new day! This weekend really killed me. I weighed 135.5 on Saturday at the gym and my scale this morning says 142!! EGADS!!!! Girls night was rough.

Today, I'm drinking so much water I may drown trying to flush the system. I've got a floor aerobics class at 10 and will get my OFFICIAL measurements and final weight for end of game 1 then. I truly blew the weight loss part, but the measurements cant have changed that much.

Good luck to everyone as we start this new game. Its fun to see new people involved and I look forward to getting to know everybody.

I've seen the add for it, and, from the looks of it, it seems worthwhile. But that's just my opinion, never used it before, so not definitely sure about it. But, hey, since you already have it, why not give it the ole college try?

Ready to go for my first time at the game! I have a disadvantage because I don't measure... so am really going to have to work hard in those other areas to compete!! LOL but I've got my Excel database all built to keep track!!! Off we go! AND we will ALL be winners... that is the best part!!

How can I have gained 6.5 pounds in 2 days?? :mad: All my measurements were close to the same, a little up on each except my chest (of course, the one area I'd like to keep at least something.)

Rosario-thanks for the words of encouragement. I'm doing good eating/exercise for today, but my brain is in a bad place right now.

One last time-Love the encouragement! I do hope everyone is excited about the new game.

Wendy-Are you going to post everyones final points for game 1? I think we all won due to the increase in healthy habits in all of us. Congratulations ladies.

HI!! Glad to hear I wasn't the only one to gain weight! I knew I did,but I really didn't want to admit it to myself!!

They moved our Game 1,I'll have to go searching for it!Did everyone enter their points for last week already?? If not the results will have to wait till I can get all the info....

I can't wait to get started! I've already started the day off right with three HUGE glasses of water, and I'm just about ready to go take a nice long walk. After that, I think I'm going to do some weights! I have a feeling that today is going to end up being a great day :D

I totally agree, Rosario! But you know what? I sweat off a lot of the water on my walk (50 minutes! I new record for me!!), so I've only gone a couple times today. Oh man, one day last week I literally went SIX TIMES before noon. And I'd woken up at 8! 6 times in 4 hours... holy cow was that ever annoying.

It got to the point where I had to restrict when I could drink. No drinking just before going out, no drinking after 8. I was having trouble with waking up in the middle of the night about to BURST (a scary feeling to wake up to) and having to rush to the bathroom every night. It'd always take me at least half an hour to get back to sleep, so it completely disrupted my sleeping pattern. Now I cut off my water at 8pm and I'm fine, I can sleep through the night without a problem. See, I normally don't go to sleep until 11pm-1am, so I have PLENTY of time to get rid of excess water.

Hey! This might be something of use to you........

if you scroll to the very top of this page you will see a grey section with home-food-fitness-diets etc. Click on the diets and go to tools, there you can get a weight progress chart!! It's for a 3 month span and I think it would be pretty good to keep handy!!Very cool!Thanks 3FC!!!!:D

Oh! there's also the Presidents Challenge in the exercise section,that is also very cool!

I'm in! Just upated last week too, Wendy- thanks for keeping track! Totally ran out of steam last week and indulged much of the weekend. Glad to have that out of my system and right back on track this morning. In fact, I have 4 exercise points today! :D I need some results this week so I'm aiming for some 8 and maybe 9 point days this week. Who's with me?!

Sorry for being MIA, my internet was down and boy was it frustrating!!! We had this huge....HUGE STORM last night, golf ball sized hail and it must have affected the power/satellites. Oh yeah....no matter how fast dh got to the car, we still have small dents on the hood and roof. It was really CRAZY, I had to call the insurance co. this morning. :?:

Well today is the first day of school break for the boys, and already I'm stressed out and frazzled!!! GGGRRRRRRR.....they just fight soooo much!!!
I'll have to get caught up with the news on this new chat thread.....already on page 2!!! What a bunch of Chatty Cathies!!!!:D

I"m a little mixed up as I couldn't find my results for week 1 in the stickie, but I had it charted at home......so my results for the first BTB challenge are 256 pts. woohoooooo

LOL I see I am not the only one FLOATING in water today! LOL it seems like such an EASY way to earn points. : Glug glug glug I may have to pee all night instead of getting any sleep!

Wow if the last game is any indication it looks like there are going to be some tough scores to beat LOL.

Hmmmmm the top 256 divided by 30 (assuming it was a month) is a little over 8.5 points a day.... I'd better get off this computer and get exercising LOL. Although I already have in over an hour today!!

I have got an hour of exercise in so far! Don't know how when I've been on the computer ALL day,it seems!:D Ryan went for a car ride with Grandpa and Nan so I have about 1/2 hour to do a little more!

Yah but we don't get points for it ! :) I didn't count my tea... it has to be just water right? I have a meeting tonight at church! Fortunately they are very close friends and will understand if I have to excuse myself to the bathroom every 30 seconds LOLOL.

Good for you for getting the exercise in, Wendy. I have a little over an hour too and hope to get in a few minutes to round up to the next 20 minutes.
