Good morning all!! I'm back from my sick day off. Bad bad day with points yesterday, but my nose was just bothering the crap out of me. However, today is a new day and ain't nothing gonna stop me now!!!

Nikki-Great job on those points. You're doing great.

Wendy-Bless your willpower. I know if it was me in a steakhouse, all **** would of broken loose.

Sassy-You're workout schedule sounds great. I wish I could go swimming like you. Good luck on the before/after pictures.

Sandra & AngelEyes-Good job on stickin with it and not giving up. We all need a little motivation once in awhile. Head over here and we'll pump you guys up real fast.

Brandy-Great job on all the working out your putting in. You are my motivation to keep going!!!! And you're so lucky...I wish I didn't have to cook everyday!

Quick question ladies...you know how they say don't eat after a certain time (i.e. 7pm/8pm) but I get home from work at 7 and by the time I'm done working out and cooking it's already 9pm. Is that a good cutoff time if I go to bed from 11:30-12:00?

Hello Girls

I see everyone is still doing great. I am doing good. I have kickboxing tonight. Something to look forward to. I just have to figure out what to make for dinner if it was up to me a bowl of ceral is good but no I have to cook for 3 other people :) Oh well.

Almost Friday. I wish it would finally warm up here. Its is cold outside hello it's spring. I would like to take the kids for a walk and go to the park to burn more calories.

Today is a great day already! I started off the day at around 8am. Checked the boards, weighed in (overnight the pounds that I gained early this week suddenly disappeared!), did some stretching, then went straight out the door. I was going to do the second workout of C25K, but it was too dang cold! I did about 10 minutes outside before I had to come in. But that didn't stop me! I did another FIFTY minutes of laps around the house. I tell you, I was working quite hard, but I only got in 2 1/2 miles. Being short has definite disadvantages. But you know what? I'm not gonna sweat it. 2 1/2 miles before 10am is a GREAT WAY to start the day. If it gets a bit warmer later, I may try to do the C25K workout again. If not... I'll find something else to do.

Victory for me, ladies! Yesterday I did calisthenics and today I didn't wake up in ANY PAIN! I guess the extra stretching I did before and after really helped out. Sure, I'm a little sore, but last time I was in PAIN. I'm feeling so great right now.

I know it seems counter-productive... but I'm sitting here enjoying a fresh-baked double chocolate scone. I've been really good with my eating lately, so hey, why not. I'll just have a couple hundred less calories to eat good stuff. Totally worth not getting that half point, but that will only happen today! I'm hoping to go shopping later tonight to pick up some fresh fruits. I ran out a couple days ago and have been going CRAZY. I want some apples, dangit! Funny how I'm sitting here eating chocolate and all I can think about are apples. Weird.

Brandy: You're doing pretty great yourself! Nice points for the whole week, as opposed to me and my one good day ;) I can't believe you've been doing two hours a day! I think I might croak if I did that.

Rosario: The old adage of not eating after a certain time is hooey. Eat when you can, just remember that your calories in must be less than the calories out in order to lose weight and you're all set. I have a cut-off time for myself simply because it discourages me from "grazing", as well as making it so I don't have to get up to potty in the middle of the night.

Just here waiting for 5:30. I am soo bored. Our thread is getting a little quiet. Where are you ladies??

I'm doing good on points so far. Good job to me. Just need to get home and workout and get through dinner. I'm attempting arroz con pollo tonight. I've never made it and I have some big shoes to fill. My boyfriends mom, who is Colombian, makes a mean arroz con pollo. I don't know if mine will taste as good but i will sure try. Wish me luck!!

Brandy-You are freakin awesome!!! You had an ankle surgery (i just read that post) and you do all the excercising that you do? Wowee!!

THANK YOU!!!! After spinning for 45 min. and run/walk for 15 min. this morning, then going grocery shopping and then the horrid job of starting to clean out my closet, I SO DID NOT WANT TO DO ANOTHER WORKOUT!!!! But, you all have been so encouraging to me, I did it! Thank you for giving inspiration when it was needed.

Rosario-glad you're feeling better. You have such a wonderful attitude. When I feel bad, I think of you.

Lydia-I'm glad you've reached the point beyond pain! Thats great.

Nikki-I'll go out and do cartwheels when it finally warms up here. That would keep the neighbors guessing wouldn't it?!

Have a great evening. I'm off to make dinner. I decided on a spinach and feta pizza on a whole wheat crust. YUMMY!!! Then its off to work I go.

Wendy-We all have days like you did yesterday. The only way to feel better about it is to put it behind you completely, and dive back into healthy today. Sorry you had a rough day.

I see LOTS of high points. Way to go ladies! You are all doing so wonderful! I am seriously nervous about this Sunday. I signed up to take a TurboKick certification course. The course will allow me to teach the classes which I don't intend to do. I thought it'd be fun, and help increase my workouts at home. WELL, now I'm freaking out wondering what I was thinking. I think because everyone else is so SERIOUS about the class I'm worried. I don't want to make a fool of myself. Not much I can do now but suck it up and go. The money I paid is non refundable. So wish me luck.

I'm doing videos for workouts today. Have a dr.'s appointment in the opposite direction from the gym.

Rosario-Yeah I had ankle surgery because I am a little clumsy. I played a lot of softball in school, and I never quite timed my slides right so I'd go down to late, hit the bag to hard, and sprain my ankle every time. (Did this on both ankles) Plus a few falls off the aerobic step. Well, after about 12 serious sprains the ligaments were completely blown/stretched and the one ankle just started giving out on me without warning. I'd be walking thru a store, and bam I was on my butt. Pretty embarrassing. The surgery was a tough recovery (definetly added to my weight problem) but now I value any little bit that I can do. I'd still like to run, but so far its just to painful so I've stuck to spinning and kickboxing.

Lydia I am finding the same thing... the more water I drink the thirstier I become!! Just can't seem to get enough down! But it is hard for me to walk my entire lunch hour because of the need for a bathroom LOL

Hi all.

1st I have to say Rosario mmmm arroz con pollo lovin it how did you do:chef: ?

Tofat:dance:your not kidding it's a little warm this morning so that was nice but can't get to happy because BAM snowstorm :D

Wendy don't sweat it just get right back on we all do it sometimes :( and some more than others but we are trying and we can do it :)

Well my down side is the weekend seems like I just binge even though I know it's bad. But My goal is not to do that this weekend. And I started losing weight with my honey's sister and we were the same weight but I think she is a couple of pounds lighter then me I can't have that...LOL I need to step it up.

"sigh" I am in such pain my instructor last night at kickboxing had us working out are arms and abs on a freaking chair...LOL what is killing me the most is the push up I did with them. I can't lift my arms :D And my abs hurt but the bad thing also is my scar where me c-section is hurts. Instructor doesn't understand it takes years for that to get better. But there are some ab workouts I can't do but I do it trying to get them better but damn it hurts.
I am going to have to wait a couple of days before I do that again.

Everyone is doing great.I will post later I guess I should do some work...LOL

Wendy-We all have our bad days. Just hang in there and stick with it. You can do it girl!!!

ToFat-don't pay attention to how everyone else feels about the class, you go do your thing and have fun!!!

Nikki-i didn't get a chance to cook but i will tonite. I'll let you know how it goes. If you are feeling uncomfortable or pain doing an excercise you should stop and take a break. You don't want to hurt yourself. Just go at your own pace and do what you feel comfortable doing. I hope you do take a break so you can recover.

It is too, too cold to do any outdoor excercise. I had to walk to my doctor's office from work and I nearly froze to death. So I too will have to rely on workout tapes for my excercise. Onto SI6 Ramp it Up-Day 1. And I will try my new George Foreman Walk It Off dvds. lol I don't know why but it makes me laugh to think of myself doing a george foreman anything. we'll see how that goes.

Yesterday, I weighed in at 167.8. Today, it said 170.1!! What in the world is going on?! Argh. I hate the scale sometimes.

Hey Gang-

Wow lots of updates. Wendy don't worry about it, you have such great enthusiasm it is contagious. I love it, so now time to use it on yourself. Give yourself a mental hug, and just jump right back in. We miss your post!

Second I have posted all over the board about this but going to share it again :) My boyfriend and I had taken pictures last week, and then again this week. My scale had actually gone up 4 lbs due to TOM (I think) and no change on the waist measurement, so I was feeling a bit discouraged last night. But then this morning we took our pictures and compared them side by side. I am SO HAPPY that I could see a positive change in my body. I am actually loosing back fat - YEAH! And the inner thighs are looking better. The stomach is a little bit better, and you can see the muscles defining in my shoulders. I am shocked that it was that noticable in only one week.

It really motivated me to make sure to do The Firm tonight. Tomorrow is my swim day, and I am still unsure of what Sunday is going to be, I am thinking Power Yoga might be nice :)

My weekends are really where I fall off of good eating, so this weekend I am going to really concentrate on healthy eating and doing my exercise.

Hi all! I'm back! That binge caused a 3 lb weight gain:mad: but I'm ready to get back to size!! I AM a exercise machine today! And tonight I'm going out for a bit so I might be a well oiled exercise machine by the end of it! lol!! In other words I'm going to have a glass of wine while I'm out!! What a party animal HAHA!!:D I think that maybe I just got bored and kind of lonely,and that is what triggered the binge,I don't get out to see my friends often and nobody wants to drive out here because I'm a bit out of the city. I do have Ryan to keep me from getting to lonely but sometimes I need to have a conversation that doesn't include Elmo or Dragon!!!

I just posted my first points for the game. I am so excited. I have a problem drinking water though. I usually drink 4 glasses a day. I'm trying not to force myself to drink to much at once since I just started drinking it. Sounds like everyone is doing okay, that's great to hear. I keep reading TOM, what is it? Good morning ladies! Hope you're all having a nice weekend. I am taking a scheduled day off from exercise today. I am not good at doing these, and usually need to be talked into them. Todays is due to the 8-6 certification class tomorrow. I have no idea how much of that is actually doing the workout, but I know I'll do better if I rest up today. Have a birthday get together later today, so wish me luck on healthy eating.

Morning! I had a blast last night ! I really needed that night out! It was fun to see some of my old chums!And to check out the guys!!:D lol!!!!! There were a couple cuties!:dizzy: AND I did well with only 1 drink, good thing I'm counting the calories because I could have goofed that one up and had 1 or 2 more!

Hey girlies. Winnipeg, glad you had fun last night. I also went out and had fun. My boyfriend and I went to Applebees and Walmart and we picked out stuff for our new bedroom. I was bad at applebees. I had a drink, the shrimp trio and we split desert. But, since I did exercise this week and lost two pounds, I am not going to feel guilty to treating myself. It's not all the time that we go out so I went big! Well happy Sunday!
