Well, we took both boys into their pediatrician earlier today. I was lucky enough to get two appointments back to back for them due to cancellations. Anyways, we got into the room and they got weighed. Logan was 15lbs. 9oz or so with his clothes on. Brandon was 27lbs. 2oz with his clothes on. The doctor came in and saw them. She told us that she has been busy for the past two months, and RSV is going around.
She checked out Brandon first. He has an ear infection in his right ear I think, and bronchiolitis. Bronchiolitis, is like bronchitis, but bronchiolitis is in the smaller area of the lungs. She wrote a script for Amoxicillin for Brandon, the liquid this time! She then checked out Logan, who mind you, just puked on Tommy before she walked in. She listened to his lungs and said that it sound like he has the beginning stages of RSV, which she has been seeing a lot of lately. So, she wrote a script for a nebulizer and some albuterol for Logan. So, we left the doctor’s office and went and picked up the nebulizer. The lady at the place said that the insurance covers it, so the nebulizer is Logan’s to keep. Then we took off to Wal-Mart to get their scripts filled and pick up a couple of things.
We got them home, got some food in their bellies, and got some medicine into them. It took both of us to fight with Brandon to get the Amoxicillin into him, which was a stretch, so we will be using other methods to get the medicine into him tonight before he goes to bed. Then I got Logan fed and gave him a breathing treatment. He wanted nothing to do with the regular attachment to get the medicine out, so thank goodness they gave Tommy a little mask to use. Logan loved the mask on to get his medicine. The doctor wrote the script for more so that we could use it on Brandon as well, so I gave him a treatment after I got Logan done with. He wanted nothing to do with the mask like Logan, so I used the regular attachment and he was fine once I had to tell him that it would make him feel better.
Angie~ We actually did give him a luke warm bath last night because he had another temp of 100.5 degrees F. I also grabbed one of his t-shirts and let him sleep in his diaper and t-shirt rather then his pajamas, cause I think those were keeping his temp up as well.
Annette~ Thanks for the nice words. His temp seems to have gone done now.
Ginny~ He was in the bath tub for probably at the most maybe, 5 to 10 minutes and he was done. We also have a vaporizer in their room with an inhalant that gives off the menthol and eucalyptus scents.

VERY happy about that! Must be from all the walking I do at work.
