t- yeah thats kinda how I feel. When I lose a lb it's easier to stay in control then when you've gained and have to start all over again. I'm back up to 245... seems like i'm stuck here.

Today is a new day and we can all do it!!! Today lets have a challenge to find some activity that if un and do it for 10 minutes. We got buried under a bunch of snow last night here in VT so no walks for me today, but maybe a snow day!!!!!! 211.8 this am. Have a great day you two!!!

thanks lorra yeah i know it is but im sick to death of failing. im currently trying to get a sibling effort goin hopin that if we all stick together we will muddle through bc bein in a hse w 2 non diet parents(not that they dont need to they just dont) is brutal. my sister and her dh said theyd do it w me after the weekend so i told her to tell me when they wanna start. we are trying to come w something to make it fun.
Great idea A, Wish i had a couple buddies to diet with too. All the people who want to diet are all states away so it's emails or phone calls. My only local friend that is on the heavy side is pregnant right now so ...out of luck
Dh doesn;t need to diet no luck there either. I really should just go and start a gym membership...I just wish I had a buddy though.....

lorra most of my sibs are out of state too but we are gonna try it anyway i do have 1 sisa 15 nin away n i heard her talkin last weekend about it so i bit the bullet...was sorta like ok fat sibs my fats gotta go who's in? type of thing.(we all are fat and only one of us is already on ww)
well i bought a tread today-moms gonna kill me sayin i cant do it but you know what? i CAN and DID!!!! yay me!! ok so i gotta keep it flat, no incline and no faster than 2 mph but you know what? thats a big deal to me bc i always thought i couldnt bc i never tried! and today i did...i had to hold onto the sides toi stay on but hey i did it. the guy also said i could use my crutches if i wanted to too. i think i finally tapped into the i can do it thing
Send THE I CAN DO IT it over to me A, Today being Easter food and treats everywhere I totally pigged out big time. I should be in bed but I'm up looking for DIETS.....I'm thinking I might just go ahead and start curves. It's close and makes more sense...I would really like to join the gym I joined before. It has more stuff and doesn't get boring like curves does. That whole going in a circle on the same stuff over and over gets old fast...for me anyway BUT the cons to the gym I like is it costs more and when DD gets out of school for the summer I will have to put her in child care which will cost even more. The pros to curves is it's really close and I would have time to go after Dh gets home from work. I don't want them to try and rope me into the year contract though. I remember last time I went there I HAD to fight to get out of that contract even though I canceled before my trial was over. I felt like they were trying to sell me stuff more then wantng me to come to work out. I need to do something though and this trying on my own isn't working long term Four months at curves isn't to bad right? Actually not even 4 whole months more like 3 and a half....yea I'm trying to find more pro's

I love curves, I do the trivia and word scramble, the people at the one here are really good at shaking it up so you dont get bored

lorra! i feel ya girl! id be much better off at a ww meeting....yet i insist on failing time after time on myy own all bc i dont wanna pay for classes or get up early to get to them. from what i heard, curves is good short term for beginners. do you have like a community thing like a ymca or something? that type of thing is cheaper. good luck girl! let us know what you decide ok?

No we do not have a YMCA here in my town probably in the next town up but thats where my other gym is...I would run into the same problem. I wish you could babysit toooo Shes 11 so there is not to much to it. I think I've made up my mind to go ahead and start curves. Just gotta stay out of that year contract though.
T, they do that kind of stuff at this one too. They have drawings to win stuff. Didn't stay long enough to win anything though. The ladies were nice I remember that. Once they sign you up they don't try and sell ya anything else...
thanks yers it 10 and i walked for 10 min on it as practice. my sis n her dhj are startin bk on ww monday. i was thinking of getting a ped. bc looking at the dig. readout on how many cals i burned in 10 min is depressing...it was only like 30 cals so i think how any steps would be better....
gl at curves! do not get sucked in!!! cuz after awhile youll need something more challenging.
A, don't even read that read out ..everyone is different. Instead you should put it at distance instead of cals...that way you can see how your workout is improving. Thats what I would do at the gym...was fun to see how much more I could do each week.
Yeah thats true with curves A but you are free to go around the circle as many times as you want. Go around four times and you got in an hour workout. The same thing over and over is what gets boring to me but I'm going to look on the good side of it ...I will be doing something to help with my weight loss. It's alot better than sitting here getting fatter waiting for the summer to be over to start the other gym right? I need to find myself a diet I can stick to though. I can't keep to the writting everything down with WW. Maybe if I wrote everything down at the start of the week and know what I'm eating that day but then I will have to do major shopping in one trip and plan everything ...life gets in the way of that...I don't know ...will figure something out.
I am signing up for the March of dimes walk. 6 miles, so I am trying t get in shape for that. Going for walks and stuff, I have to get myself to where 6 miles is easy again. Am hoping this wh=ill help me lose.
A, I agree w/ L about the readout, you should focus on time, the longer you do, the more you burn.

hey miss lorra whats up girl? youre rightn curves will help you! have you thought about doing ww core and just tracking youre 35? gotta tella ya thats what draws ppl to core bc tracking bites. **** to be honest you wouldnt even ned to trak the 35 if you just set them aside and indulge like 1 meal a week.
