All over thank goodness....she did great thru the whole thing. Only tears were when the nurse took out the needles to do and IV....other then that she was so brave. When we were allowed to see her after surgery you could tell she was sooo relieved it was all over. There was some good news with the surgery: the doctor said he may have to leave pins in until the bone healed but THANKFULLY he didn't have to do that so NO PINS TO BE REMOVED She goes back in 2 weeks for more Xrays but HOPEFULLY the worst is behind us. Thanks guys for all the support. That was the HARDEST thing I've ever had to go thru. It's so hard to watch your baby in pain and you can't do anything about it

As for weight I'm down 5 pounds I did low carb for 3 days and lost the five pounds and some how was able to keep it off. I wasn't eating healthy it was fast food every night since DD's fall. Last night I really over did it and thought for sure I had gained it all back. I really hadn't ate much though even though it was fast food I probably only ate once a day. Back on track today How are you two doing?

thats awesome neews lorra all the way round! youre lucky you can do LC and lose and still keep it off. i cant lowcarb bc im at risk fr depression and i need carbs to keep my seratonin levels up cause i wont do meds. i am bk op i was dn 1 1/4 yest& 1 1/2 today. tomm i go to my meeting. im experimenting w my mes. i wanna see if can lose on 25mcg after not takin any for almost a week.

DD is doing really good....she put her own sling on this morning. Before surgery she was in so much pain she didn't even want to take the sling off. Shes only taking the pain meds twice a day bout mid morning then again before bed. The doctor said she will have to go thru a little PT to start moving her arm again once the cast comes off. I hoping that is not to pain full for her.

Af came yesterday so did 4 pounds not going to let it get me down ...it better leave with AF hopefully before WI

lorra im glad to hear dd is doin better if youre worried bout the pt, call a facility and ask for someone good w kids. i do it all the time bc ppl that can handle kids can usually handle me.

Sorry I havent been around, crises at work, spent three days in tears and tried to resign only to have my supervisor tell me no.
fell off the wagon, you know me a stress eater, boy that pb/chocolate cheesecake thing was good.....
I did get to the gym once this week and did my walk are. I think 2x. Who knows what will happen on Monday, Maybe this weekend I will get some xtra walks in...

Tara- sorry about the stress at work ...hope it gets better for you

Andrea- Thanks...I'm pretty sure the medical place that did the surgery will also do the PT. Everyone we came in contact with there were very freindly and made sure we were all happy with everything. I'm hoping that is where she will go. I will not know for sure until DD's next appt.

I'm down a pound and a half YAY.....the other 2 and half pounds better be packing up with AF as well

lorra: wtg on the loss! im dn almost 2, so most of my bday weight is gone still a lil left though.

DD is doing good only pain meds once yesterday. I think I should get the bad mom award though She lost a tooth and I forgot to take it and give her money from the tooth fairy. Hopefully she will leave it out and I can do it tomorrow. Now is not the time to tell her I am the tooth fairy
