Happy Wednesday!!!!!!!!

Hope everyone is having a great day. I'm going to lunch at my favorite place around here to get salads. They have an "Oasis of Mara" salad, with greens, pears, walnuts, gorgonzola cheese, and blackened chicken if you add it. Or, I might get the black bean tostada, which is probably the better choice?

Mo-look for recipes at dwlz dotcom. They have WW recipes, and it's a fun site.

Nori - I'm going to have to try those smart ones.

Danielle - welcome back!

Hi Danielle! So sorry you are struggling. Is it the med adjustment?

Got my hair all cut off today. Not quite as good of a cut as the one I got in Seattle. Oh well...

I'm getting so close to my 25% loss goal that I'm weighing every day - a few times a day!! Only 1 more pound and I get to put in a new ticker for the next 28 pounds.

Mo - which Pilates do you do? I love Winsor pilates.

Sarah - that salad you described made my mouth water. Really!!! What did you get? Are you a teacher?

Been super busy today. And just ate some lunch. I hate when I "forget" to eat and then get so super hungry. I have to just inhale a Balance Bar. I try to eat as little as possible of "processed" foods - but sometimes it just takes too long to get out all the components of a healthy meal. Well, gotta go get some more stuff done...

CBL...

Hey ladies! No news from the dream college yet - I think my palms will be sweating until I know, lol. The college has a realllly nice fitness center -TV's are built in to the treadmills and ellipticals! I wouldn't be able to use the "my favorite TV show is on!" excuse to not work out!

Today I went to a pizza buffet and pigged out with some of my friends at least I made healthy choices the rest of the day!

Sarah - both of those sound YUMMY - which one did you pick?

Mo - I hope you make healthy choices at dinner! I just noticed you are just a few pounds away from onederland! You'll be there in no time!!

Danielle - Nice to see you! I'm sorry you are struggling, but I know you can do this!

Heya Ladies!

Just thought I'd pop on real quick to say HELLO before I head to bed ...

Lots has happened in my world since I was here 2 days ago. On Saturday I started having some pretty bad pains on the right side of my lower abdomen and by yesterday morning they were much worse!
After a phone call with my pcp - we headed to the ER ... the first thought was that it was appendicitis ... thank goodness it wasn't - but I do have an 'Abdominal Wall Tear' ... I've been placed on limited activity, with no lifting and no exercise for the next 2 weeks! How's a girl supposed to lose weight without exercise??? But I guess I understand b/c the fear is that the tear can increase and cause an abdominal hernia - which would mean surgery ... and I certainly don't want that!

The doc believes (as do I) that the new exercise program that I've been doing at Curves more than likely caused the injury *sigh* and that stinks b/c I JUST joined last Friday! My first months fees will be totally wasted - just my luck! lol

Well I feel like I'm about to crash right now ... Thanks to the pain pills
Sorry for not getting to personals ... I'll try to be back first thing in the morning to get some done.

Hope you're all having a great week!
Nite Nite ... see y'all in the morning!

Ugh, Stacye. I'm, so sorry. Did you do something "weird" or new at Curves. Wow, take it easy and make sure it heals up good.

Where are all of our MIA's? Check in!! Erin, Lisa, Lori, SoccerGirl, Catherine, Donna, Elizabeth...all the other great gals & J!! Miss you!!

I second Nori - it's time for a ROLL CALL! lol

Stacye - thank goodness you caught it early before it became something requiring surgery. Take it easy! And while you're off your feet, call Curves and ask them is there a way with your doctors note to take a time off from payments or if they can add on 2 extra weeks to what you already paid. It's always worth a shot.

Nori - no I'm not a teacher. I work for the school district, though, but as an administrative secretary. I'm thinking about going back and becoming certified to be a teacher once we move to SC.

Katie Bug - be sure to keep us posted on the dream college!

Mo - how did dinner turn out?

Hope everyone is doing well!

Post I am still here!

Hello ladies, How have you all been? I have checked the posts, I just haven't taken the time to write back. I got to see my Dad this last weekend. He came into town for the day. It was really nice to see him. I was pretty sick the beginning of the week, some kind of stomach bug has been going around. Not very pleasant! I did get to catch up on some sleep, though. On top of that my grandfather fell and broke his hip, he is 85. They did not expect him to make it through the surgery. He did but it is a tough battle. I did not realize he coded when he had surgery in the fall. It took a lot to bring him back. I went to help my grandmother then but I could not go this time. On top of that my mom may of had a heart attack yesterday. They are still running some tests. She has been bad off for awhile. She has a liver disease that she is fighting on top of everything else. It is her Dad in the hospital. My Dad was in Las Vegas when she went to the hospital. He took the first flight he could back. Me, I am 7 hours away. So I have been just crazy. The DFIL is driving me nuts! And my husband and I are unable to spend anytime together. It SUCKS!

In good news my trainer DeWayne is working my butt off. I have not seen a change in weight but I can see the difference when I look in the mirror. Plus, I can feel the pain.
Everyone sounds like they are doing well. Nori, You are truly an inspiration to all of us.

Thanks everyone for letting me get IT all out! LOL to all of you!

Default Friday

Happy Saint Patricks Day

Well, I'm gone for a day and lots has happened I see. DS had a sore throat and fever so I took a sick day yesterday. He's feeling better and back at school today.

First, Nori, congrats on the 25" loss!!!
Catherine: so sorry to hear all the bad news...when it rains, it pours. I hope you find some time with DH alone
Sarah: I don't know too much about mortgages but I have Washington Mutual and have been happy with them. Also, INGdirect.com was advertising mortgages when I was on the site today for 5.875%, they have a mortgage calculator to compare mortgages.
Stacye: hope you have a quick recovery Let DH take care of you!
Katie: we ended up with chicken for dinner! What else?!! Hope you get your school choice.

Wednesday after work I went to Stop & Shop because I heard they had Lean Cuisine on sale for 1/2 price. I was tossing the dinners into my carriage and when I looked to see how many I had thrown in I realize I was throwing them on the ground! I guess the carriage rolled a little. Anyway I bought 35 of them, people were staring but I didn't care for that price, I stocked up on my panini's I'm going to try the rice and beans on a bed of salad today.

B: none L: frittata & piece of bread, S: granola bar D: chicken, potatoes, cranberry S: WW banana pineapple bread
Points: 25 Exercise: house cleaning Water: hardly any

I did no formal exercise but I worked all day vacuuming, moving furniture, dusting, laundry, cooking, errands, etc.

I can't wait to go home today. I might try my hand at sewing this weekend, you should all be able to hear the screams of impatience from where you are

Have a great weekend
