Bad news

Hi guys,

Well I have bad news about my weight this past week, I gained 0.4 pounds.

I'm not too happy about it, but I'm not giving up, I'm only going to try to workout harder and lost that weight, plus more!!

I'm glad everyone is doing so well. Keep up the good work.

Take care.

Lisa

marinemommyof2 02-21-2006 06:02 PM

Hey Lisa - don't be down, it can always just be water weight, or MUSCLE! And we love muscle!!!

Catherine - how's the trainer going? Are you learning lots? Please share!

Maureen - WTG on the great food choices and lots of exercise! WOW! I know what you mean about the cleaning. My husband even helps around the house, and it's still a sty sometimes. LOL I always tease that I live with too many boys - my husband, our 2 boys, and the dog. But Serena has me beat!

Serena - way to keep moving along!

Donna and all the other ladies who lost - keep up the great work!!!

Hugs to you all....

jamamom 02-21-2006 07:38 PM

hi everyone

Quick note! Everyone please think of me tomorrow! I will need it! I really like the trainer, I have not done a full workout yet, because he is doing all of the assesments and other stuff he needs to do . I do believe he is going to be good for me and that I picked the "right" trainer! LOL to all of you, I am off to bed!

Catherine

desertdreamer 02-21-2006 09:29 PM

Good evening everyone. It's been a few days since I've been by, wanted to say hi. Everyone has had such wonderful losses this week! You go girls!
Lisa, I know how you feel, I've been up & down so much on the scale, it's sad. However, I'm losing lots of inches so it's making it more tolerable. Do you measure? Maybe with all those workouts you're just building up some muscle! Chin up sweetie.

Don't have time tonight to post personals to everyone, but I will tomorrow morning. I'm beat, it's been a very long day, so I'm headed to bed.
Keep up the fabulous spirit gang, you're awesome!

dgpebbles 02-21-2006 09:36 PM

still no exercise for me..I tried riding my bike again but when I start getting hot I start coughing again...Maybe I'll get in a few floor exercises and some hand weights..

Serena - way to go

sweetpeas- congrats on the 3lbs

soccorgirl - great job..I'm sure you will make your mini goal..

Catherine - good luck tomorrow

Wednesday

Hello ladies:

Soccergirl, Sarah, Nori congrats on the 2.2, 2 & 3 lb losses!! :carrot: :carrot: :carrot: :carrot: :carrot:

Lisa:  We all know how it feels when the scale doesn't cooperate. Your positive attitude will get you through till next weeks weigh in!

Donna: take it slow with the exercise, do you live where its warm? Maybe you could just walk a little until you're full strength again. Just do what will make you healthier fast :flow2:

Danielle: we missed you! Good idea about the measuring. I actually have a tape measure at work, maybe I'll have to lock myself in the bathroom and take my measurements. Then I'll have to disguise it as a safe combination!

Catherine: I'm glad you're happy with the trainer. Did DH go with you to your consultation?

Serena: Congrats on making it back into the 180's!!! Hope you made out well being around your mom's homemade food.

We seem to be missing a lot of people here. Erin, Stacye, Katie, Elizabeth, Tina, Lori.....are you all out there somewhere?
Menu: B: cereal w/fruit, L: linguine w/ asparagus, S: dry cereal D: chicken, potato & green beans S: WW ice cream
Pts: 24 Exer: 15 min BATP Water: 24 oz. and several cups of tea

Thanks for the exercise inspiration, I almost didn't do it last night but didn't want to have nothing to report to you girls! :running:

hellokittyfan 02-22-2006 09:43 AM

Thanks!!

Hi guys,

Thanks for all of the lovely words of encouragement. I'm thinking it's muscle. No, I haven't measured myself, but I have definitely been losing alot of inches on my waist, back and legs. I just like to see a loss on the scale as well. Hopefully it will go back down!!

:carrot: :carrot:

Take care everyone!! I'm going to do spinning class today even though I'm a bit under the weather (I feel like I'm catching a cold!!).

Lisa

desertdreamer 02-22-2006 01:06 PM

Hi girls, how's it going? I'm hanging in there, keeping up w/ exercise and diet so hopefully I'll see something move on the scale this week!

Lisa, SO glad you realize it's muscle. I bet you look fabulous! Keep it up and spin your little heart out chicky, it's definitely paying off. I am in total agreement about the # on the scale, seeing it change is such a motivator. Really trying to keep my focus tho' on measurments and how my clothes feel since I tend to always let the scale dictate my moods. Keep yourself well!!

Maureen, yes woman, get in the bathroom and measure! You will be so surprised to see yourself shrinking. I'm so glad I did it, I think I'd have quit by now since the scale is refusing to give up much. I definitely hide my #'s from prying eyes!

Donna, I hope you're feeling better soon. Were you able to do your floor exercises like you wanted? You take care of yourself first, the exercise will be there when you're well.

Have a super day ladies!

Nori71 02-22-2006 01:20 PM

OK, fly-by-post here! I got to take my baby to the peds in a bit. I don't think she has another ear infection, but she's sleeping sooooo horrible (like up at least every 2 hours all night for 2 nights now) and so cranky - don't want to miss something...

Lisa - we are all going to have weeks where the scale doesn't show a loss. That isn't a reflection on you that you didn't do a great job though - when you know you are!!! I know those weeks will come for me as well.

Catherine - so sorry about the ex drama. That's some heavy stuff. Hopefully this new trainer will be a great new things for you!!! WTG!

Get better soon, Donna! So sorry you're feeling bad.

Have a wonderful day everyone! I'll try to check back in later...

hellokittyfan 02-22-2006 03:38 PM

Me again!

Hi there,

Danielle - yep, it's muscle (:) ). It just gets frustrating to not see a loss every week, I just have to get used to that fact. Then I'll be okay.

Nori - thanks. I'm not going to let it get me down. I was just in a groove with the weight loss. I'm looking forward to losing the first 10 pounds and I was so close I could feel it!!!!!

Hope you all are well!

Lisa :carrot: :carrot:

dgpebbles 02-22-2006 05:24 PM

hey chickies,
I feel so much better today..I"m off today and been just hanging around the house and relaxing but I did manage to ride my bike for 55 mins and felt good so now I can start exercising again...

Danielle-Glad to hear your doing good..No I never did anything yesterday..I was just to tired and went to bed early..Guess I needed the extra rest...

Lisa - Your doing great..as long as your seeing results don't worry about that scale..Just keep it up..

MoNewEngland 02-23-2006 10:19 AM

Hi ladies:

Donna, I'm glad you're feeling better. Maybe tonight I'll do my bike to change it up a little. I took it from a neighbor who was throwing it away. It hurts my butt though! Then again, I could do it and watch the Olympics or Idol at the same time :D

Nori: I hope your DD is feeling better and that you both get some good sleep soon :bb:

B: cereal w/ blueberries L: Lean Cuisine S: handful of dry cereal D: Lean Cuisine & pcs of italian bread S: 2 WW mini cakes (1 pt each!) Pts: 25
Exercise: 15 min BATP. I also got my grocery shopping done on the way home while the kids were at mom's house. The Lean Cuisine panini sandwiches were on sale so I bought at least a dozen :cbg:

I'm really struggling on my water intake, I'm lucky if I drink one bottle a day. I have four lined up on my desk but can't seem to get them down. :dunno:
Well the tax man is coming tonight at dinner time but hopefully I'll get in a little workout when he's gone.

Check in later! Mo

I'm calorie counting.. I'm eating 1400-1500 cal a day, walking, drinking lots of h2o and journaling... more to come...

desertdreamer 02-23-2006 12:15 PM

Happy Thursday!

Donna, I hope you got lots of rest and are feeling better today.

Maureen, get that water in young lady! I know it's probably hard to get too terribly excited about water when it's cold outside and you've gotta take multiple potty runs. But you know how important water is, so I know you'll do it. ;) My bike hurts my butt too, and I ride it for an hour. I've had to put some padding on it, attach it with safety pins because I couldn't stand it.
Hey, it may look funny on there, but whatever keeps me on the stupid thing, is how I think about it. You're having your tax man to dinner? Can you write that off? :dizzy:

Lynne, welcome! I'm fairly new here too but these ladies are awesome. You have come to the right place for support and motivation. It sounds like you've got an excellent plan in place, setting yourself up for nothing but success. Hope to get to know you better.

Have a stellar days ladies! The week's almost over, one more week closer to having to shed the winter clothing. This little detail is keeping me in check to keep going and staying on track. I'm determined to not hide in long pants or capris this summer, it's too dang hot out here. :hot: :hot: Besides, these legs could definitely use a tan finally! :D

MoNewEngland 02-23-2006 03:14 PM

Welcome Lynn!!!!!

:welcome: Lynn, glad you joined. I'm fairly new here also. I look forward to getting to know you better! :gossip:

Danielle: thanks for the push on the water. I decided to check in this afternoon and your post made me reach for my water...thanks  The tax man isn't eating over, he just comes to our house to do our taxes and he's coming at 5:30! :lol3: It might be a little awkward, the accountant is/was my sister's brother in law through marriage and since last year my sister filed for divorce...it's final next month. Hopefully no one will mention the divorce....I'll have to warn my husband ahead of time because he tends to have big mouth! :tape:

I have 5 sisters and 2 brothers, (I'm the youngest ;) ) do any of you come from a large family?

I'll check in tonight....2nd night without the kids and last night I read till 2 a.m. Boy was I late and tired for work today :dizzy:

Mo

desertdreamer 02-23-2006 03:26 PM

Yay Mo, good girl getting in that water!!! You heard me sittin on your shoulder, huh? ;) Yikes, ex-bil huh? That might be a tad awkward but might go ok if you can reign in hubby. Good thing he still wants to do your taxes, I hate doing them myself.

I am the oldest of 4 girls, we're 6 & 7 years apart. I'm 36 & my youngest sister is only 16!

Enjoy your kid-free time lady! Just remember to get your rest so you're not late for work tomorrow. ;)

Nori71 02-23-2006 03:56 PM

Hi everyone! Well, Melina doesn't have an ear infection this time. Just an icky cold. Dh slept in anothr room last night because she's been sleeping so horrible (in our bed) and wouldn't you know it, she only woke up 2 times!! :carrot:

Yippee, Donna's up and running again!

Danielle - How often do you do your measurments? I guess I'm going to do them at the beginning of each month.

Hi Lynn! Welcome! Sounds like you have a good plan. Look forward to getting to know you.

Mo - I'm the oldest of 7 kids. 6 girls and finally my Mom got her boy. I'm 35 in July and he's 18 - so we're all about 2-4 years apart. It's so much fun being in a big family. Funny though that I'm not so sure about a #3 for us anymore.:dizzy: Re: water - I don't have any tips really. I love the stuff. Does that bike have one of those skinny butt seats? I cannot do those. Need a cushy seat for this butt!

Where is Erin and Beth and Catherine and Sarah and Lori? And Serena and SoccerGirl? And whoever else has been MIA for longer? Hope all is well!!

desertdreamer 02-23-2006 05:30 PM

Hi Nori! I'm so glad that your dd doesnt have an ear infection. Poor baby! It's been brutal for colds & illness this year I can't believe it. I hope she gets to feeling better real soon. Well, regarding my measurements,, this is a funny thing....I had originally only planned to do them once a month but because I have had next to nothing in the scale dept. the last few weeks, I'd been measuring instead. I'm glad I did it because I can be so easily discouraged with the scale. I did it to really see my progress regardless of the # and it's helped my self-esteem tremendously, like I'm really doing something. KWIM? So yeah, once I get back to losing # wise I'll go back to just once a month with measuring. You definitely have to measure, it will make you feel so good to see yourself shrink! Have a great night, Nori.

Nori71 02-23-2006 07:01 PM

Thanks, Danielle. I did measure about 2 weeks and -10 pounds into my new life. Then I measured 4 weeks later and was down 11 inches! But that was just 2 weeks ago. I think I'll go ahead and measure on the 1st, even though it will not be 4 weeks. And keep it a 1st of the month thing.

Nori71 02-23-2006 07:02 PM

Wow that last post was my 300th post.:dizzy:

jamamom 02-23-2006 07:30 PM

I am still here!

Hello ladies, I have not run out on you! So how is everyone doing? Sounds like all of you are doing well! I need to measure myself,I hadn't thought about that!

Lynne, :welcome2: Glad to have you on board! Sounds like you have a good start!

All of you have such large families! :goodvibes I am an only child as is my DH. I am happy that we have two children.

My DD was unable to go with me to the initail consult with the trainer. He is going to do my physical on next Wednesday. I really liked him. I think this is going to be wonderful.

Concerning the EX. That is a long story. The first day she was there my BP spiked and would not go down. Then I physically got sick. I ended up going home . I felt awful. Today was better. Then of course my doctor gave me some happy pills.:dizzy:

I apologize for not posting! I did read up on eveyone each day! :gossip:
Thank you everyone for all of your :listen:

LOL to all of you!
Catherine

MoNewEngland 02-24-2006 09:27 AM

Friday!!!

Hello ladies:

Catherine: hang tough at work, glad you're liking the trainer. I hope you quit smoking. I started again myself a few years ago and wish I hadn't. I don't smoke alot but any is too much.
Danielle: taxes are done and I'm getting enough back to pay off my Mastercard!! :carrot:
Nori: I hope DD is feeling better real soon. You all deserve a good night sleep :cloud9:

I watched Idol and Olympics last night and I finished reading a book, so I didn't get any exercise in. I read the first two books of a trilogy written by David Pelzer. In his first book, "A Child Called "IT" David suffered child abuse from his mother which was absolutely hideous and the 2nd book "The Lost Boy" was his journey through many foster homes. I'll try to find the 3rd book at the library. He amazingly turns out to be a great man and volunteers his time to children's causes.

Has anyone seen that adorable 16 year old boy on American Idol, he's so cute, not the best singer but you just want to pinch his cheeks, he looks like he's 12. So far I like Elliot from the men and not sure on the girls.

Well, I've chatted long enough, I'm going to make some tea and so some work!

hellokittyfan 02-24-2006 12:09 PM

Tgif!!!!

Hi all:

TGIF!! It has been a long 4 day work week. I worked 13.5 hours yesterday and I am exhausted.

My BF and I are off to a wonderful spa this weekend for some well needed R and R. I can't wait. I won't eat too badly, but I won't be weighing in at WW either. That will have to wait until next week.

I hope everyone has a great weekend. Take care. Hope to talk to you all soon.

Lisa :carrot: :carrot:

Hi all. Well, today was weigh-in day, up 1 pound. May be muscle, maybe not. Only reason I say this is because I've not been losing much to begin with but had been exercising like a fiend. I was happy with the not losing anything scenario cause of all the workouts, but to gain? ARGH! :D
It's only 1 measely pound but sometimes disappointing when you work so hard. Nothing I can do about it, it's there, so onward and upward.

Nori, hope DD is feeling better today? Did you and hubby finally get a full nights rest yet? You are a melting woman, 10 inches!

Catherine, I am so glad that you seem pleased with your trainer. Keep us posted! I'm sorry work is rough with "her" there. Hoping today things are better for ya.

Mo, yay taxes are done!! And a bill paid off too, that's awesome! Feels good to be able to pay it all at once, huh? I've heard of those books you're referring too but not read them, glad you're enjoying. Get that exercise in woman! ;)

Friday! Friday! Anyone got any fun plans for the weekend? I'll be back later to see what you're all up to.

dgpebbles 02-24-2006 01:24 PM

Morning everyone..

I'm feeling great...I got up and rode my bike today....I have to work today from 2-10..I really hate that shift..I have to work it once a week and the rest of the week I work 9-6..

Lynn - welcome, you've come to the right place and sounds like your doing great.

Maureen- My seat also hurt too so I ordered a gel seat cover from a bicycle shop...it was about $30 but well worth it...and for the water..I hate water too and find it hard to drink also but I have been using crystal light and also at walmart with the cool-aid they have sugarfree drink mix and they both taste really good..

** Stacye ** 02-24-2006 01:25 PM

Happy Friday Ladies!!

Here I go again with the apologies for being MIA ... We've had a stomach bug going around so needless to say I haven't been on line!
Just wanted to say a quick HELLO and a BIG :carrot: CONGRATS to everyone on their losses!
I have lots of reading to catch up on and then I'll be back later today to do some personals.

Hope you're all having a fantastic Friday ... it's absolutely gorgeous here in Nashville today - it's 60 degrees and there's not a cloud in the sky! I love winter but this weather is really making me have Spring Fever!

Toodles for now!

Nori71 02-24-2006 01:43 PM

Catherine - glad you liked the trainer!

Mo - I am addicted to AI too. No shocks last night. I like Elliott, Taylor and Chris of the boys-no 1 fav yet. But, could Ace be any hotter???:D And of the girls I don't have a clear fav yet either. I like Katharine and Paris a lot. Mandesa's a VERY good performer - seems like a natural. But I don't think she'll get it because of her weight. Crazy how Ruben (love him!) could win being a large as he is and a woman never could do that I don't think. Double standard in our society. I "think" I like Kellie - but maybe it's her spirit and story that I love? kwim? Makes me cry - to have been abandoned as a baby by her Mom and her Dad in prison for her whole life. I think she hasn't had many good things happen in her life and she's so sweet. She needs more confidence.

Danielle - I know how frustrating it must be to see a gain. It can be a number of things though. Hormones, water, muscle...but you already know that. I cannot remember how much you weigh or how much you have already lost. Didn't you used to have a ticker?

Lisa - have fun at the spa!

Hi Stacye! Sorry about the stomach bug. I have summer fever too. I so want to get back into sandals. I wear sandals all summer and as far into fall as I can get away with!!:D

Donna - shift work sucks. Period! Have a good one anyways!

Well, as soon as Melina wakes up from her nap, we've got to go grocery shopping. I don't like taking both girls, but we need food so bad and I don't want to do it tonight. Olivia's at that age (just turned 2) where she doens't want to sit in the cart - she wants to walk and well, she'll just walk right away from me...

Nori71 02-24-2006 01:47 PM

Danielle - your ticker is showing up for me on the previous pages, but not this one. Weird. Anyways, I know there will be weeks like that for me. I'm tracking my calories in vs. calories out and like last week I should have only lost 2 pounds and I saw a 3 pound loss? I don't know why. But it'll catch up if it's just water loss ykwim? So weeks will come when according to the number I should lose 1 pound and will not post a loss. I think very few people lose consistantly week after week for a long period of time.

serena37 02-24-2006 02:50 PM

Mia

Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't been on in awhile. I've just been in one of those moods. Too tired to really do anything. I have managed to workout everyday and eat what I'm suppose to. Haven't really felt like it but I have. I don't really feel like it's doing me anygood but I'm sure it is. When I started back in January I had hoped to be about 30 pounds lighter by May but it doesn't look like thats gonna happen. It probably would have if I had not had so many back slides but there's nothing I can do about that now. Just keep going. It's a little bit easier since my mom started back. Anyway, hope everyone is doing well.

Katie Bug 02-24-2006 04:25 PM

Hey ladies! I haven't been on for a whiiiile. The whole month of February has been a blur. Between school, extracurricular activities, and all those darned scholarship applications, I haven't had the chance to work out more than about 3 times a week. Valentine's Day totally derailed my eating. Thankfully I've gotten that under control and I'm eating about the same amount of calories as I was in January. I don't think I'll reach my February goal, but I'm pretty sure I maintained around 170.

I've finally decided on my prom dress. I love the way it makes me feel :)

MoNewEngland 02-24-2006 04:42 PM

I'm late leaving work but wanted to say nice dress!! Sexy too!

nighthawk 02-24-2006 06:16 PM

Hey Chickies,
I've been having technical difficulties but they're all worked out now :D I have missed being here on a daily basis and found that my execise suffered for it when I couldn't come on every day or three and say wohoo another good day. I've done okay with the food but the exercise slacked off big time so back at it. Tommorrow is my weigh in so we'll see how bad it really was ...mind you it is TOM so I will use that as my excuse if I'm up :o ;)
Take care all
Lori

ejb180 02-24-2006 06:33 PM

 Hi all - I have had so much going on the last week it has been hard. We had to lay someone off at work, plus their is a lot of drama based on who is control and some other things, plus hubby has been out of town for about 4 days. I have tried not to compensate with food - only one break down and had a cookie at work; otherwise I am doing well. My awards banquet is tomorrow night and both dresses I have a loose!!

I did not weigh in this morning, but just put ont he jeans that were tight and they feel awesome - at bit loose.

I am so hungry right now - waiting on dh to head out for a little date (dinner and drinks) he just got back into town!!

I am so proud of everyone - you all have done great - keep it up. I will be back soon - I can not believe I was gone for this long. I need to update my counts still too and set up some goals for March.

Have a great night all - E:hug:

Nori71 02-24-2006 07:05 PM

Hey Erin - Sorry about the wrok drama. Cookies happen!! No worries! Good to hear from you! Have a nice date with DH.

Hi Katie - beautiful dress!!

Hi Lori - wondered where you were at! Good to have you back.

Serena - as far as those "dated" deadlines - we have to bo so forgiving with ourselves. They are good for setting goals, but they aren't in stone. We do what we can.

Katie Bug 02-25-2006 11:33 AM

Hey ladies! I weighed in this morning at 168 - a very pleasant surprise! :) I wasn't even expecting a loss. Now I can set my March goals. Well, I have to run to a friend's birthday dinner now, I'll be back later for personals and such.

MommaAshley 02-25-2006 12:04 PM

I'm Back !!

Hi Ladies ~
Wow I have been MIA for what seems like FOREVER, and I am now so far out of the loop of who's here it's sad. :( My son has been sick again with high fever and and a bad ear infection, I was out of town 2 weekends taking insurance classes, FINALLY got over my cold stuff. AF came and I just felt BLAH. Can no longer get on the net to come here or any non-related business sites at work anymore, and I am RARELY online during the night of weekends. I am SO sorry to have been so out of the loop and out of touch. Life lately has just been bonkers !! :dizzy:

Glad to read about everything that is going on with all of you, sounds like each and every one of you is doing SO awesome !! :carrot: Congrats on all the incredible weight loss and WOW all the exercise !! :bravo:

:cheer: KEEP UP THE AWESOME WORK !!! :cheer:

If you all don't mind I wanted to give you a little update on a few things. After hearing from all of you how great Netflix and the BL DVD was I now have it !! I have yet to use the DVD but plan to use it today or tomorrow. Last week I was at a thrift store and came across a jogging stroller (which I've wanted one SO bad for awhile) for $10. I snapped it up and have taken Sam (my 11 MO son) out on walks and exercised. It's awesome and he LOVES it. :D

Here's the breakdown:

1.I also am still counting calories DAILY, and am now holding myself even more accountable for what I consume whether it is food or drink ! :write:

2.Since I Was a gestational diabetic when pregnant, and since I have PCOS I am borderline Type 2 - I started checking my Blood Sugar - Fasting before b-fast and sometimes in the afternoons. I am staying within normal limits. :D

3. Limiting myself to 1 Diet Soda a day, and drinking water the rest of the day ! :)

4. Exercising (Still trying to do this daily) - this is a constant challenge for me ! Help hold me accountable !! :drill:

As it stands since January 1st 2006 I have lost a GRAND TOTAL of 25 lbs !! :carrot:

As I sit and type this I am wearing jeans 2 sizes smaller, and a smaller shirt. It's AWESOME. I feel so much better !!

I miss each and every one of you, and I promise to work on being a larger part of this group. :grouphug:

Hugs & Well Wishes ~ Elizabeth

P.S. J aka downonthefarm says Hello !! For those who don't know that's my hubby !! He's lost about 10-15 lbs he won't tell me how much LOL !! :goodvibes

I would like to know if everyone could tell us how long it has taken for them to lose the weight they've lost (and ages - that helps too!).

I'm 32 and it has taken 4 weeks to lose 7.7 pounds (much harder after 30 years old to lose weight I've found!!).

Thanks,

Lisa

Alrighty well I searched everywhere to find where ya'll asked these questions. Here's my answers :D

Hi girls.

Nori: Congrats on the 3 lbs!!! Way to go, you're proof to me that the exercise makes all the difference!

I couldn't do BATP this morning because the kids had made a fort in the family room last night to sleep. So I showered while they dismantled the fort and then I brought them to the park (even though it's cold) and my neighbor and I walked on the path for about 2 miles. Glad I got that in anyway. I guess tonight I'll make some chicken. I think I'm going to start clucking soon.

I'm going to try to keep busy and do some much needed housework for at least an hour. Back to work tomorrow:( The new Nikes are hard to get on but very comfy, no breaking them in even. Well, I'm off to vacuum, your friend Hazel.

Hi girls, this is so weird I came on to post and saw that I was the last post. I guess I must have never logged off from 3fatchicks on my home computer and somehow when I thought I was logging on an old post got resubmitted...sorry...weird :dizzy:

Elizabeth: so glad to hear from you!! Congrats on the 25 lbs, that's incredible!

Well DH is working and the kids are on my nerves. I'm sending them out to play in the cold! I want to do my exercise and take a shower. I'm letting them to the park at the end of the street by themselves for the first time. I guess I have to cut the cord sometime. They're taking one of the two way radios with them. It's a fairly safe neighborhood and it's only 5 houses away.

I'll check in later because I have no plans for today :D
