Red, yes Rick is my husband of 10 years (almost 11 next month). I knew what I was getting into when I married him as far as the drinking and all. Both his mother and father were/are big-time boozers so ya know w/genetics and how the apple doesn't fall far from the tree... but it's funny, because I trust him completely in the marriage department. If he's in one of his phases of drinking too much and staying out late, he's in no condition to be getting busy with some other woman... I'm not at all worried about him fooling around, it's the drinking part that bugs the sh*t out of me. But enough about that.

I totally know what you mean about getting *paralyzed* when something needs to get done. I am the only one in the office and sometimes I have some big proposals to write up, or maybe a final invoice on a big job--for some reason even if I have all the information to go on, I stall and stall until someone lights a fire under my @ss (usually Rick) and I just kick 'em out within a few minutes. It's frustrating to feel that anxiety when you just know what you have to do but you can't bring yourself to do it. So, sorry If I can't send you the mojo to get you going, but I can send some good vibes : See them bounding off of me?

Thumbs up

Hi there, Noelle! Further procrastination here, but yes, I did see vibes bounding off you! Wow! They were like fireworks! Thanks so much!

Ok, glad to hear that things are more or less cool with your husband. I know how the drinking can really bother you although if you're not worried about other women, then I say, count yourself lucky. I know very few men who are big drinkers and NOT out fooling around when the opportunity presents itself. Of course, things are likely different in Tokyo, where you got a LOT of bimbos and girls who just fall over any guy who is not Japanese. I have a lot of coworkers like this (the guys) and I hear all the stories. Maybe a little bit of not caring, a bit of cool distance, is what would help...that and you getting super hot-looking...could start him thinking he has to get his act together a bit or face the consequences...of whatever...the unknown is scary. Oh, yeah, more of the "cute guy feeling up my legs" kind of stuff is GOOD! Heh, I think my knee may be bothering me soon. Can your doc come over for a house call?

God, I hate this paralysis. It's largely because I feel I don't know what to write and don't want to write it because the one story is a PR piece and the other is a rehash of a race. Maybe I'm taking them too seriously and should just start by writing anything at all and then editing my own work. That is often a trick I use. I think that may be it. Because I am desperate for the money I AM taking this too seriously, yet at the same time I am actually in total disregard of what it is I have to write. Sigh. Ok, gotta reap that energy you sent me!

Hi guys! How is everyone today? Well, I got the kitty. I picked her up yesterday. She is so cute and soft and tiny. She is so much smaller that Tyson and Teddy. Rebel is in love. He just sits there with his nose touching her face. He is a weird little dog.

Noelle, WAY TO GO GIRL!!!! You are doing so good. I am proud of you. All this loss and a vacation!! WOOHOO!!! I cant beleive that girl did that. I would have wanted to lay her out right there.

Dips, I have been meaning to sign up for the Discovery Health challenge too. Maybe one of these days I will actually remember to do it.

Kempy, I feel ya with the scales. Just keep doing what you are doing and you know it will leave just as quickly. You are doing great!!!

Red, I would send you some energy if I had any. I am supposed to be getting all my papers and stuff ready for taxes but I keep putting it off. I am glad the kitty is doing well. Evewn if you cant keep her she is very lucky to have crossed paths with you in life. You have already done more for her than any other person.

Julie, How ya doing?

Here is a cute pic of Mickey. He always curls his lip when you show him a bottle of ear mite medicine. He hates it.

Talking Welcome, Rag baby!!

angie -- So glad to hear you have your new little furball! And, oh, so cute that Rebel (what kind of dog is he?) is in love. Are you sure he's not hungry?

No word from the vet yet here on the cat so I take that as a sign that the spaying operation went well. Mickey certainly does look like he hates that medicine. I never really understood "curling the lip" as I'm not around dogs much...though yes, my lip curls at times!....but that pic of Mick is a perfect example. Cool! Is he an old dog? And what are those pieces of tapelike things on his ears? Just wait till I start posting pics of one-eyed cats! Do you know how creepy it feels to be stared at by a one-eyed cat, cute or not?! How many animals do you have now, angie?

Good Morning!! I typed up a nice long post this morning and when I went to submit it it disappeared> GRRR!!! So I went and worked out and took a shower and now I am back.

Red, Rebel is a Jack Russel Terrier. He loves all the cats but he is so into them for the first week. I have no idea why his nose needs to be touching them all the time but he is a strange little fella.

That is just all of Mickeys ears. He has HUGE ears. He is a cairn/JRT mix...we think. He was dropped on the side of the road with his brother in Tennessee and before someone could stop and get them he got bumped by a car. Luckily all he got was a sprain and some bruising. A rescue group in Boston works with the shelter where he was and they brought him up here and we adopted him. She said that shelter used to have a euthanasia rate of 97% before they started bringing them up here. He isnt snarling at the bottle he just sticks his lip up on his teeth. It is so cute.

I cant wait until you post some pics of the one eyed beauty. I bet she will still be beautiful when her eye heals up. I think it is so great that you are taking care of her and making sure she gets a good home somewhere. You are awesome in my book!!!

Well, I emailed some pics of the kitten to you all. I cant shrink them down to post them. The second one is in there by mistake. It is fat cow and Teddy.

Kempy, Good luck with the weigh in. I bet you will rock!!

My scales are finally moving down now. YEAH!!! I love the way I have been doing it this time because Saturday is my day off so to speak and I am not allowing myself to feel guilty because I eat what I want that day and....I am still losing weight. YEAH!! Last Saturday I had Beef filet and garlic smashed potatoes with cake for my nighttime snack. I actually eat quite a bit of the cake but I am still losing so I guess there is something to this moderation thing.

Hey everyone.... it's been a busy week. 1st payroll of the year on Monday, followed by first mistake on the payroll, meaning it had to be rerun to get the numbers I needed (still waiting) and then this morning, I had my court appearance. The case against me was dismissed due to the plantiff NOT showing up. Idiot. Anyway.. I better not hear another word from him again.. or he will get a huge piece of my mind. (Just to remind you, Steven's roommate was suing me for money that Steven owed him and for furniture he said he bought from Steven since he thought I was head of Steven's estate). I've been under alot of stress due to that.. so I am glad it's over.

Dips.. I just wanted to say thank you for the New York momento. The girls LOVE it... they have been turning it on every night.. they are fasinated by the colors going through the glass! Thank you so much for thinking about us! Oh.. and I saw your pictures.. you are one hot looking chick! Soooo Beautiful!!!!

Kempy...... WTG!! 6 Pounds... ~~bowing at your feet!~~ Amazing!

Angie... What a cute pup!!!!

Noelle.. I did go see HP with the girls.. they got really scared, and Hannah even left the theater at one point. I loved the movie.. but I love HP.. I'll be getting it when it comes out! (In April I heard!)

Anyway... back to work.... talk to you guys soon..

Cherie

Hi Girls

First of all GO KEMPY GO KEMPY GO GO GO KEMPY!!

Noelle cute PT guy? Haha....enjoy! The NERVE of that woman kissing Rick. Your are right you have nothing to worry about. You are a beautiful and a great wife and Rick knows it!

Angie I got your e-mail pics of the little cuties! Mickey is a doll! I love the Satruday treat thing. I have to get back to that....I don't know why I think I deserve dessert during the week?

Cherie, your poor thing. I hope that guy leaves you alone for good! Hope those numbers get straightened out.

Red I hope you have a great day.

I took another walk yesterday, a little over a mile. Today I got about 10 minutes of cardio in. Not much I know but better than nothing. Now to get my portions in control with my meals. I have to go pick up dd from pre-school soon and figure out what the heck I am making for dinner. Maybe I will stop at the store and see what looks good.

Gotta run. Have a great rest of the day everyone!

Good afternoon girls. I had my first "real" full P/T session today....they had me do some of this and (with my leg though) and even some of this . I feel better though, even though I can not walk as much as I'd like, they are making me do things that I would not normally do in a 2 hour period so I should be burning some calories. And after it's all said and done, I get a massge from some muscle bound hottie then a nice big ice pack to cool me down I have to do this 3x a week for a month so I think I should be in good shape. Then after my session I drove into town to have Thai food for lunch with Rick

Congratulations Kempy!!! You did GREAT!!!!!! Don't you just LOVE how easy it seems? Uh-huh, oh yeah

Angie, Mickey is cute! I love all your cats and dogs, they are adorable and their personalities really come though on those pictures. Yup! Moderation is key. I do believe we will "get it" this time! There's such an AWESOME vibe going on right now around here.

Cherie, I gotta give you credit for handling such a large payroll like that. I hate doing payroll and mine's just for a few people. I have one guy that has a levy on his pay since he didn't pay his taxes a few years back. He's such a numbnut that he didn't fill out his exemption paperwork correctly and now he's screaming about how much the IRS is sucking out before he gets paid . What a dumb@ss. I told him if he had paid his freakin' taxes in the first place he wouldn't be in this predicament! Don't yell at me about it. Sorry you had to waste your time in court when the person dragging you there didn't even show up. That is a pisser!

Hi Julie Walking is such good exercise. I will never take it for granted again. You will get your portions in control and drop those pounds and look superb for summer. Thanks for the vote of confidence about me and Rick You know, he mentioned to me that this floozie at the sushi joint was there with her husband and kids--well he could've mentioned that to me at the time of the incident, and pointed them out to me, because I DID NOT see her with anyone else. Yuck. I'm so over that anyway.

Red, give your kitty a nice little pat from me when she gets home from the vet. I think scary looking pet photos are cool--bring 'em on, I may just use it as my desktop or screen saver

Hi Cal...enjoy your Wednesday hump day. Halfway through the week!

Hey Dips, what are you up to today?

Anyway, tomorrow I will be getting a sonogram to see what's up with my female anatomy Sorry if that's TMI...I hope they find something that can be fixed--I will be a little peeved if I come out "normal" yet am still having problems.

Well girls, have a good evening. Chat more tomorrow.

Smile no scary ones yet...

Noelle, I sent you this one. It's not really scary but it was the only one I had. Isn't she cute? A little French bull at the riding club, name of Ume, which means "plum."

Default Hello My Gurlz!!!

First I gotta give props to Kempy. 6 POUNDS!! You Go Girl!! You are well on your way to hottieville! Keep it up.BTW My friend and I are considering the Bahamas! Were is your cruise taking you?

Angie- I knew your scale would once again do you justice! I am so happy for you. You know we have to have bumps in the road on our way to success. It builds character. You are gonna be fabulous this summer! BTW if you haven't registered for the Discovery Health Weight loss challenge, you better hurry up girl! The free gym membership kicks of on the 14th!!!

Cherie- Glad the little piece of my city makes you and your girls smile. I look at your smiling faces whenever I go to my fridge.(I put your pic in a magnetic frame to keep on my fridge. Before, I held it up there with a magnet that had an ad on it and my buddies though it was an ad Anyway, that older one of yours is a spitting image of you. I bet you get that all the time.

Noelle- VERY FUNNY HOME DEPOT BIT it was hilarious! Although I'm pretty sure that wouldn't happen in my store. No hotdogs! In fact, we don't sell snacks at all. (Thank Goodness) So, you have a ligitimate excuse for a hot buff guy to rub all over you, huh. Excuse me while I go injure myself...well then again, what are the odds that I'll get a cute buff hottie in NYC who isn't gay? Slim to none, so I'll just let you enjoy the rub down for the both of us! I want you to know that I am proud of you for sticking to plan and not letting this thing deter you. You make me proud

Red- Cool pic of the doggie. she's adorable. BTW, I know what you mean about the women in Asia. I felt like a fish out of water in Korea. Evn they would stare at me becase they were not used to seeing black women. It was interesting to say the least. The funny thing is that I was never envious of their figures. They have no curves! Everything is padded and they don't even carry any bras larger than a B (I'm a D) so it was very difficult to shop at times. I always thought I had a good figure, I just need to get rid of the extra weight so my true figure can shine through. I'm getting there

J- What's good, Love. Keep that walking up. Every little bit will make a difference! Spring break is still in it's planning phases but as I told Kempy, I'm leaning toward the bahamas. I know I'll have a blast no matter where I go but the most important thing is for me to be able to prance on the beach in a two piece which I haven't done since I was 17. So I got a lot fo work to do.

Cal- Come out and play!

Okay ladies. My ticker is still a lie as I am now 134 pounds. I just don't have the heart to move it back so right now I'm working on catching up with my ticker to make it true aagin. I join Bally on friday and from then on it's my mad dash to do all I can in my free 8 weeks. WISH ME LUCK!!

I can't believe how motivated we all are and we are on our way to be one big success story! I Love you guys and I am so proud of us!

Good morning girls

Red, Ume is cute, it looks like she's smiling . I love the look of French bulldogs, almost like a Boston terrier but with batlike ears. I've been watching a show on KIKU (Japanese TV programming in HI) called "I'm Old Enough", it's set in Japan and they send toddlers out on errands for their parents and they have a film crew following them around to see what happens along the way. It's kind of scary and funny at the same time. The send 3 and 5 year olds to the corner store to buy stuff like eggs or milk and even make them cross the street with heavy traffic (with the traffic signal of course). Japan for the most part is probably a much safer place for kids to be out and about than a big US city, but still! I don't think I'd let my kid be on that show.

Dips, $15 per pant is a great deal considering if you were just to go out and buy a whole new wardrobe. Way to go girl. But what will you do if you get even skinnier??? Good luck and have fun with your Bally's membership. Sheesh, no worries about the ticker. Besides, they made some temporary changes to the site and the ticker only appears on your first post of the thread--if you post multiple times on a thread anyway...that's why my ticker doesn't show up on my latest posts. The last time i weighed 134 lbs I was 23 years old and in my wedding dress!

Well, I gotta run and get this day going. I've been sitting at this computer a little too long. Have a great day everyone!
