Wow, good evening ladies or shall I say good night?! So much posting has happened this weekend. It's about 20 to 10 here and I'm just settling down after a good weekend. It all started friday, right away my sister comes in with the biggest spread of kentucky. I would like everyone to know I DID NOT even taste a crumb! BIG, HUGE victory for me cause I LOVE KFC!! Then she comes with icecream for everyone about 8:30pm, I watched everyone lick theirs while I'll sipped on IceWater. So I was very pleased with myself. But I didn't get to walk that evening. SAT. I also missed walking. We were all out and about, went out to dinner to celebrate my moms and aunts birthdays. I had grilled chicken and roasted potatoes. I told the waiter is was my moms birthday so he brought a piece for her, I took one fork full, and that was the end of the cake dilema. I ate out twice today

lunch I had grilled chicken (Again!) with steamed veggies and rice. Supper I had soup at the Japenese rest. which I think I said before was made out of buckwheat noodles and lean slices of beef. (buckwheat is really healthy for you, despite its name it is a member of the rubarb family and has nothing to do with wheat - so low fat, carb, cal, etc...) I walked once today, this morning. It felt so gooOOOood after missing sat. I haven't lost much this week, but I think that is due to my Aunt Flo knocking on the door. I'm down 16lbs. so far since starting my new life. I'm planning to really go gung-ho this week to get past this weekend, and get ready for my birthday in another week or so.
There has been so many posts since friday, I have quite a bit of catching up to do!
Lori, congrats on the 5lbs. That's awesome! BTW- Thanks for the kind words! Sorry to hear you're under the weather, feel better soon!
cheryl, glad you had a good day in Fargo. Your soup sounded delic ious. Great staying on target at your foster daughters birthday. I know how challenging that can be!
Lois, thanks for the links. I really got a lot out of "the way dieting works", really puts it into perspective. The pants are a great feeling eh! Way to go on the 2lbs!
Robsia, you'll have to post the recipe for the choco chip cookies. I'm a freak for them! and only 92cals! Thanks also for the kind words. I am totally inspired by you, I can't wait to get to one-derland! Congratulations! I did the same thing with buying 10 dollar pants! I have a pair I bought a couple of weeks ago. My fat was popping through the zipper area, I couldn't get it even close to zipping. Now I can zip them up but I look like a balloon nipped on one end! I spill over the top, maybe another 10lbs.
Garnetfairy, glad you got through your rough day on the 28th with a 3lb loss!
Linda, welcome fellow canadian! You'll love it here, a lot of a great ladies who offer the best support.
Bren, welcome! Looking forward to getting to know you.
AndrewsMum, these are the most important words I'll ever say to you. STAY IN THERE! I remained the same for almost a week straight. I think your body needs time to adjust. We are all going to go thru these stages maybe even more than once!
Deb, welcome! Jump right in and make yourself comfortable!
Teri, it's so good to hear from you again. Welcome back! Glad to hear you've kept on project with your eating. Don't worry, the exercise will come back to you when you're ready.
Welcome Paula! Day one is a great place to start, looks like you have done good with getting your exercise already!
Emily, the running and walking on the treadmill sounds great! I wouldn't mind giving that a try to see if I can burn a few extra calories. Truly inspiring, thanks!
PHEw!! well girls, I'm beat! I'm going to go to bed a little earlier tonight. Have a great one!
Stay strong and be powerful!
