Hi Everyone!
On day 5 of my water and crunches challenge. The water is pretty easy to do, but the crunches are a whole "nother" story. I bet I have done them at 11 p.m. everynight. At least I am doing them but very much dread it. :( I may have to try to get them out of the way in the morning. :carrot:

Shad: I have to say your story tickled me a bit and I'm sorry because I'm sure it wasn't funny to you, but don't you just love how someone tells you something does not exist as you are staring right at it? :dizzy:

Red: Sorry you are not feeling very well. Sometimes we just need a mental me day away from all of the hassles of work, etc. You do seem to have an exciting life and a very helpful spirit. Your crunch challenge inspired me. :)

Thanks to all of you. It is such a joy to sign on and see how everyone is doing and how we are just doing our best one day at a time.:cp:

 Later.

SIGH!, Mea Culpa.....I have to start over again.

but the good news is that my weightloss continues, (probably because I'm being very active by deep-cleaning my house)

congrats to all of you who are so committed, it helps to stave off my laziness.

Day 7 for exercises and Day 12 for no sweets + stationary bike completed.
I'm starting a new challenge today - to eat some fruit each day, I usually live on fruit but haven't been eating nearly enough recently.

Hello everyone. REal quick post, as I have two pups who are STARVING!!!! And staring at me pathetically as only spaniels can.

Well, I had a 2.5 pound loss today. And, I survived another hectic day, without turning to food. I even went into the grocery store, and starting hearing the urges for junk food, and did not give in. So, day 5 of no junk food for work, a success.

Tomorrow starts the "no caffeine." Heaven help anyone in my path.

Have a good evening everyone.

Hello just a quick post...Day one for exercise and day one for no beer. I should be able to take a walk every day this week but I will still do the stepping because I've been enjoying it lately.....

Curly, way to go! Wonderful to see your ticker moving at last. Must be those early morning challenging non-challenge walks... :cheer: :woo:

A(1) Water Challenge- Day 9
B(2) SB1 Challenge- Day 9
C(3) The Firm Challenge- Day 9

AF started today, which surprisingly enough always makes it easier for me to stay on track. It's the week before that I am super hungry, and super crabby.

I've got to get to bed, I've alreayd missed my 9pm deadline by 18 minutes!

chaigirl 01-10-2006 12:20 AM

Day 9 is a big fat PAUSE for me...just didn't get that final bottle of water in...tomorrow will be a success, though!

Keep on Truckin!

Good Morning! Just checking in to encourage myself and everyone else to stay focused on our challenges today!

Red- Have you picked your new challenge yet?

PhysDom 01-10-2006 02:45 PM

I'm back after my move to Louisville and the start of my new job.
I'm exhausted! I won't get as much computer time here, so my posts may be limited now. But I'm ready to start a new challenge!
To help me cope witht he changes, move, and lonliness...

If I must eat bad-for-me food, I will limit my intake to 1/2 of a serving for 21 days and I will eat vegetables each day for 21 days. This will be a level 2 challenge for me, as I tend to eat veggies anyway.

curlylocks 01-10-2006 03:51 PM

SHHHHH dont say that too loudly carla or it might inch back up.... lol

thank u tho!!

redballoon 01-10-2006 05:31 PM

give me another day or two...

Hello all. No, the challenge has not been decided. Really, I am very busy now, needing to get two stories done NOW! and seem to have so much other stuff on my plate (pun is more or less valid :( though the food is never even on a plate!) But, I have not forgotten you all and the fact that you are awaiting a new thread...it will be coming soon. I want to start it when I actually start my challenge this time. This old thread is fine for now.

Actually, I have not changed anything from when I was doing my challenge with the caffeine and though i think I took a day off...yes, I did...on the crunches, I did them yesterday. I am thinking of changing the exercises, adding some pilates and making them more varied. I really am starting to like the idea of feeling my abs are strong or getting there. Before, I always tended not to work them for the very same reason. This feels empowering! Later, all! :sunny:
