Day 2 for me and I'm doing really good! (I know 2 days on a diet doesn't seem like much to celebrate, but I'm taking it one day a time!)
My hubby is taking me out for dinner on Sat for our anniversary, I'll have to order wisley!

You girls are doing really really well - you are putting me to "shame" and making me try even harder. Actually I did lose 1 lb! I will do better today.

Allensmom:
You're doing great - that's what you should do - take 1 day at a time! I'm sure you will do great when you go out for your anniversary dinner -
Damsil:
Welcome to our challenge! Sounds like you have the right thinking - lots of water! Yes, I have not been drinking the water like I used to -- lots of coffee and tea tho but I too need to get back to my water only! Take it easy with your knee tho - don't overdo.

GonnaLose:
Congrats on the 2 lbs down! That is awesome!

Well ... hope you all have a great day today! I'll check in tomorrow.

Love, CJ

Hey Mel - 2 days is great. Keep it up! Heck, the 1st time I decided to try LC'g, I wanted to celebrate every HOUR . No kidding - I'm such a carb-a-holic that I honestly didn't think I could do it for more than a day. Hope you have a very nice anniversary! Congrats!

I hear ya CJ - I slacked on my water a couple days this week too. It's so hard to drink cold water when it's -15 to -20C (5 to -4F) outside. Coffee is what I want! Just wish I could drink it black so I wasn't losing carbs to cream & sweetener.

Welcome Damsil - good luck with your goals and hope your knee heals up quickly!

Have a great day all! TTFN!!

Default Hey everyone!

Hi all,
Well it looks like we are all on our way and really trying hard.

I have to do ok, not gain, like I will go to my WW meeting and gain a few pounds than really work to get it off the next week. We went to my husbands car club holiday party and man were there ever temptations, but I didn't do too bad and only gained .6 lbs, but thank goodness I had a 5 lb loss last week to make up for the 4 lbs I had gained the week before. I swear I will do this one way or another this year. I just don't want to get behind the 8 ball this holiday.

CJ-Great job on he 1 lb loss, it all adds up. Yes I usually don't have a problem with the water and last week I did great, but this week I had to really work at it.

allensmom-Good for you only having 1 piece of homemade pizza yet. I couldn't have done as well as you did, so good as you. You sound like you are really making wise choices about the foods you eat.

gonnabe150-You are heading in the right direction with your weight loss. Hip Hip Hooray!

Damsil-Thanks for joining in with us. Hope your knee is getting better and better each day. It is really hard to try to exercise having knee surgery.

gonnaloseit-How great is that with your 7 lb loss on your Atkins program. I know you will make your goal by New Years. Keep on going.

teahoney-You will make your goal and here you have already lost 8 lbs of your goal so that is awesome.

tipseygypsy-Thanks for joining us. How are you doing with your Holiday Goal, since Dec 13th has past. I hope you did good, but even if you didn't make it we still have plenty of holiday time left to keep on doing what we are doing weight wise.

This weekend will be my challenge, my anniversary was yesterday, Dec the 13the 13th so my husband is taking me for a long weekend to Nashville and Gatlinburg, Tennessee. I will try really hard. but I hate when I travel, I like to travel but we eat out all the time so that is hard for me.

Take care everyone and post when you can to let us know how things are going for you.

Sharon

Kristen - it's never too late. I think this challenge goes to the New Year. Congrats on losing 3lbs!!

Sharon - good for you passing up those temptations!!! One advantage to being divorced is I don't have to do all those business parties anymore with the hubby . Easy to resist temptation when there isn't any . So...how was Tennessee??

How's everyone else doing?

I'm going to toot my own horn for a second, but I MADE MY HOLIDAY CHALLENGE WEIGHT GOAL!!!!!! . I've been exceding my water & exercise goals as well. So, needless to say, I'm a little happy this weekend .

Have a great day everyone!!
