Morning Chickies! :wave: Well, here I am AGAIN at work! I really should have taken today off but didn't--too much to get done as well as appts. I am trying to get ahead on my paperwork though in case I need to leave early today.

Still in pain, but maybe it has eased very slightly. I still plan on calling my doc at 9am to see what the next step is. The pain pills are good for sleeping and that's about it. I'm also asking for something different. I really hope I don't have to waiot to long for an appt for xrays or whatever I need done!

Guess I better go for now...c/ya!

ROCKER - I'm sorry to hear you're still in pain. I hope the doctor can take care of you first thing this morning. You said you're getting sleep? That's a good thing! Just make sure you stand up for yourself, and get the doctor to do something asap. This is ridiculous!!

Oh...I've got to change my bar...I lost 0.5 this week! Woo hoo!! I thought I'd break even or have a gain, after Boston last weekend. And then I realized next week is TOM, so I really shouldn't have lost at all. Yippee!! :cb:

Well just got back from court. DH has to leave before October 28. That's it, no more...no less. So now we'll sit and figure out what to do from there.

Yesterday at work, this biotch starts picking a fight again with me. She did the same thing last week and they only gave her a warning. Now she goes and starts up again. So I told my supervisor that either she take care of the problem or I would take care of it ghetto style. *** :sumo: hair pulled back in a ponytail, sneakers on *** and I'll meet you out back. Stop :blah: all that sh** and get ready for a :rollpin: of your life.

Well, it's official. Declare me and DH insane. (Shuddup) :dizzy: We're going to Live 8 tomorrow. Or at least, we're heading to that area and see what's up. DH finally heard what I've been saying all week - how can we live here and not be a part of this historical event? So, finally he agreed, and we're putting off our trip to NY until later in the evening. Should be interesting!

Luckily, a girl I work with lives nearby, so if she's around, she will let us use her facilities. She's at 22nd and Arch. So who needs R??? :p

Boy you gals are lost without me. :lol: Just wanted to let you all know that CHICKIE is at home today not feeling well and since she doesn't have internet at home, she asked me to tell you all to have a good Fourth of July weekend.

I am heading out in a little bit to meet some friends from my old job for lunch. Tomorrow is WI and I feel like I've gained 5 lbs. :( We'll see.

TWIDDLE, you are so brave. I'm not going out tomorrow anywhere. NO matter where you go tomorrow here, it's going to be horrible. I'm doing all my running around today and staying in watching movies tomorrow. On Sunday we are going to Jersey to a friends house for a birthday/BBQ they are having.

BROOKLYNN, I still have my job, supposedly she was being let go today. I'll find out on Tuesday when I get back to work.

Yes, we're taking public transportation down. Torn between going 10 minutes from home to take the regional rail, or about 30 minutes to take the El. Pros and Cons to both...guess I'll let DH decide.

Anyway, not sure how much longer I'll be here, and since no one else is playing, I'll sign off for the weekend.

I hope everyone had a great :) . I spent mine doing absolutely nothing yesterday. We did go to a BBQ on Sunday in New Jersey, but other than that nothing else the whole weekend. :cp: I just didn't feel like doing anything at all.

WELLLL, I gained 2lbs this week. :( I'm getting really discouraged here and feel like I'm not doing something or maybe am doing something that is hurting me on my weight loss. Yet, I still went to the gym on Saturday and Sunday and did the StairMaster and :strong: so, I don't know what else to do. I did though eat like a :ink: on Sunday, but journaled all my pts. I have 5 FP's left for the week.

TWIDDLE, I didn't think we would be walking yesterday. But if you want to make it up and go sometime this week that is fine with me.

VIVA, how did you make out with all your company last week? Or is it this week you have the company?

CHICKIE, I hope you are feeling better.

Good Tuesday (yay!!) morning, kids!! :wave:

I had a great :) and hope you all did, too!

Went to our friends' house on Friday night to hang out with a few other couples. Saturday we went to Live 8 - OMG, it was awesome!! We drove to the El, to take that in...got to the concert around 11:00, and worked our way towards the front. At that point it wasn't too, too horrible. The worst part was coming to a street covered with people sitting. Otherwise, it wasn't bad at all. We got somewhat close, hung out with some cool people (one guy gave us water from a cooler he had), and got some :sunny: . Around 1:30 or so we left that spot to get into the shade. The porta-pottie issue wasn't nearly as bad as I expected, so we went (I know you really wanted to know that), then sat and ate some lunch that we had brought with us, then caught some other bands on the screens. It was definitely worth it!!

After we got home from the concert we drove up to New York (upstate), to Scott's mom's house, went to my aunt & uncle's on Sunday for a pool party, and then back to Scott's mom's for the evening. Hung out there for a little while yesterday, and drove home. We were going to go to :flow1: with friends of ours, but they cancelled, so then we decided not to go either. We stayed in and watched The Terminal (Tom Hanks). Good movie!

So that's about all I did. Have a busy week ahead. Tomorrow night I have to head into the city for a Dragon Boat Race meeting. Thursday night I'm going out with a girlfriend from work. Friday night, if the weather is good, I will be power-washing the deck so that we can finally waterseal it on Saturday. It's starting to warp a little bit, so we need to get it sealed soon! Fun, fun stuff! :cheer:
