  • 6/16/05: Got to go hiking again today! Talk about sweating up a storm. And true to L.A., the smog blocked any sign of a view up on that mountain...
  • Purple-Hiking sound incredibly fun. Must be very tough going up those mountains.

  • Well time to catch up on my exercise posts. Everyone is doing a great job. It is nice to see someone here but old faithful.

  • Shelley: Hiking provides a great workout AND it's fun! It's nature's original stairclimber. Hahaha And I don't know if there's any truth to this, but I read somewhere that (and I quote) "a person weighing 135 pounds, hiking with a 20-pound backpack for 4 hours at 3 1/2 mph will expend 1,358 calories." ...!
