Page,

Thanks for the welcome! Your tracker is cute! The bunny will keep moving... and you won't miss the 2 points that much! I thought that (when I did WW) before to but your so excited about the loss that it doesn't bother you that much food wise... it is mentally that drags us into our bad ways. But... we will succeed! Your doing great though!

Hey Tracy - I noticed you recently went smoke free - Good for you A friend of mine lost more weight than he needed on SB but started smoking more. I really gave it to him when I found out. Overall, the smoking is way worses for you. Congrats (much better for the family and $$ to be smoke free too)

Wip,

Thanks. It has been nice. I couldn't afford them now anyway lol. Your friend needs to quit! Lol. What's the point in losing weight and being healthy only to put that gook in your lungs? It's not worth all the hard work. Just be prepared he will gain weight once he quits... if he does. But he just needs to eat healthy and it will come off. I wish everyone would quit smoking. They have NO IDEA what it actually smells like!!! I cannot stand the smell of it or the people who smoke it anymore!! It is nasty!

Hello everyone!! and welcome to all of the new posters!! Glad to have you all here. I haven't been around much lately, but now I'm back! Thanks for asking about me Kim . Things have been crazy with school starting and this year all three of my kids are in different schools. I also started playing volleyball on Monday nights. So Sunday evening I play softball and now Monday is volleyball night. Just trying to keep moving. My dad also was very ill and spent a week in the hospital. He is all better now though. I was doing pretty good with getting online long enough to stay caught up on everyone else's posts, just not posting myself. Good news... ex was arrested last thursday night and hopefully they will be keeping him for quite a while this time. It is also haunted house season now and the one that I work at is opening up this weekend so that means that my friday and saturday evenings will now be occupied. I told my friend, the owner, that he has to buy me a new costume this year because I've lost enough weight that the old one won't fit anymore!! I will be excited to see what I get to be this year!! They will take pictures and post them on the haunted house website. I will leave a link to it when that happens!

Well on the weight loss front...I was doing pretty good maintaining for quite a bit, but when dad was in the hospital things went downhill and I was eating whatever I could grab between running back and forth from the office to the hospital on my lunch hour and then back again as soon as I was off of work. Unfortunately I went right back to my old bad eating habits and I've put back on a few lbs. So I will be changing my ticker to reflect that gain even though it will hurt to do it. I will also be changing it back heading the right direction by next monday. I am back on track!!!

Let us all know what you will be for the haunted house. That sounds like so much fun!
Well, I just wanted to check in for a minute. Gotta run some errands!

Karyn, My heart goes out to your husbands family. That is just horrible. And the fact that they may not keep the house is heart breaking. I hope they find a way to make it. They will be in my prayers.
As for the eating right while you were gone, don't worry about it. But you did a huge walk! That is great! You go girl! Yes, this is one time I love to be called a loser.

Hello Ladies!! There is 2.6 pounds less of me today. YEAH!!!! That is good seeing I have ot been right on plan this week. Hard week, too many firsts happening since Kevin passed anway. And I have a gimp in my hip so am having trouble going walking but, I am still happy with my lose. Seeing the lose makes me try harder. I have a sz 12 outfit hanging on my closet door to remind me of my goal. That helps too. Hope you are all doing well too. I discovered baby steps. Thanks for the support folks. Holly

Hi all,

Sorry I've not posted in awhile--I'm still adjusting to having one of my babies in school. I almost pulled her out to homeschool, because of a couple of problems, but have decided to let her stay in, since despite the problems, she says she really wants to be there. I don't really feel like going into all of it, but I agonize WAY too much when I make some decisions...especially when I'm hormonal (TOM is here.) Plus Stella just started soccer (and ballet, but we decided today that ballet would have to wait till after soccer). Believe me I've been pre-occupied!

I'm hanging out at 157.6, and need to go back to my basics again, to keep losing. With TOM, recent company and all the changes in our schedule, I've fallen off plan a little.

OK--VAL!!! Not only am I super-glad to see you here, but you have the best news of all! -ex has been arrested!?!? How WONDERFUL!! What a relief! Every time you'd not post for a few days, I would be so worried about you because of that guy! No more of that! And I'm so happy for you to have that aggravation and worry gone (hopefully for a good long while!) Yay!!!!!

I am sorry that your dad has been ill. I sure hope he's doing better. I can't believe how many directions you've been pulled lately with kids in three different schools, playing two different sports and having your dad in the hospital. No wonder you haven't been around! I hope things settle down into a routine some for you. The volleyball and softball sound like great fun to me! I think it's great that you're doing that.

As for the weight gain, don't sweat it, Val. You know what you want in your life and will be back on track in no time!

Karyn, I'm sorry to hear about your husband's family's situation. That's really tough. It's so hard for people to keep their heads above water these days, and an untimely death just packs a whammy, doesn't it. I hope something turns favorable for them. And, Karyn, don't you let that scale scare you! No matter what it says, just keep coming back to what you know. You can do this!!

Kim--Oh My!! The pounds are just dropping off of you girl! Whoo hoo! I'm so happy for you! Congratulations on 2 less pounds!!!!

Holly, congratulations to you too! 2.6 pounds is awesome! You are on your way!!

Yay Paige! You too! Wow, another 2 pound loss amongst us! Wowee! Congratulations! Okay...now I'm inspired. Gotta get on it!

155, here I come!!

Hello all! And congratulations on all of the wieght loss!! I hope to be joining you all soon. I still am not eating right, but I will get there. I just need to take some time to focus, plan, and make sure that I have all of the appropriate food in the fridge. I WILL DO IT!!

My DD made the A team in volleyball and also is a starter!! I'm so excited for her and her first game is today!! I can't wait. After the game I've got to run out and get my costume for the haunted house, it opens tomorrow. I still don't know what I am going to get, I'm just going to see what is out there and take it from there. The kids and I went up last night and helped them do some painting, which was kinda fun and helped get me into the mood.

Well that is it for now, I will be entering a post on livejournal trying to explain more of what has been going on lately and the continuing saga of ex, for those of you who visit there. Later!

Holly Congrats on the weight loss. that is awesome. keep up the good work.

Andrea, glad to see you are back. Don't worry about plateau'ing. Thats better then gaining. You have so much going on in your life that thats okay and when your ready you will start loosing again. Don't worry about school for your kids. its good for them to be with other kids. I personally could not homeschool . My son is in preschool 2 times a week, kindergym through the town 1 time aweek for 45 minutes and maybe bowling 1 day a week for 45 minutes. I am trying to keep him active. but i think homeschooling is very hard to do. I khnow someone in nickys kindergym class that home schools and its gotta be tough. i was joking and asked her how she finds time to clean and she says she does't well that makes me not want to homeschool. not to mention we do deserve some time to ourselfves. so don't feel guilty. I ordered a ebook on line to help nicky with more preschool since i can't afford to send him eveeryday so i will start working with him at home.

I have to announce that I lost 1 lb this week. I was shocked. AFter all the eating out and snacking and still lost weight. It must have been all that walking. I walk at least 2 miles a day but like to keep it around 3. I guess that 5 mile walk helped. On my way home I said to myself that if I only stuck to the program 100% then I would have been down 3lbs. but i didn't and thats the consiquence. This week end we are going to Pennslyvania and thats going to be hard too but i will do lots of walking and try my best. thats all i can do right.

Talk to you ladies later! Hope everyone has a great week!

Well Ladies,
I just got back from my walk. Thought even with a gimp a little excersize is better than none. I tracked it with my car and mypath is just over a mile and a half. That makes me feel good. I crank up the tunes and go. I hope to be down another pound on weigh in tomorrow. With LA I am supposed to weigh in 3 times per week. I do my best but with everything going on I cant always get there. Got a guy that wants to go out but not so sure if I am ready yet. It has officially been a year since DH went to hospital and never came back home but he has only been gone 9 months. It seems like forever though. I miss him so much sometimes. Thanks for listening anyway. If you have any recommendations feel free to let me know. Thanks again for the support. Holly

Hi all. Wow you all know each other so well. Between this and the other "club" I check in on there are so many great women to get to know. I lost 2 lbs this week. Pretty good considering how I was behaving. This is my last day on vacation. In some ways it is easier to make good choices at work (unless I have a meeting with lunch catered) as I am not around food all day and feeding hungry kids. I will keep checking in a few times a week. I think it helps me stay motivated. Have a great w/e m- I plan to keep house cleaning. I've only accomplished a few of my vacation goals (cleaning/organizing wise) but have spent lots of quality time with my kids. Much more important
