2frus....YAY on getting your dress!! Can U post a pic of it here so we can see? I love ankle-length with sandals. So pretty.

Still trying to get back on track exercising after returning to reality. Gotta have a date my Gazelle & Tony. The vacation weight loss of 1 lb is still sticking...so I've moved my weight-tracker. WOW....who'd have thought I'd lose a lb! You can't believe all the Rum Cake I ate!!!! That stuff should be illegal!

Today I will run some errands and finally get totally caught up...then get busy on my 2 new goals; 169 by May 10 for Myrtle Beach.....and keeping my new tan! The pool will look good tomorrow when the temp gets to 85.

HH is off on Friday & Saturday this week, so I'm planning a riding day and then a pool day so he start on his tan.

Default Short Grand Cayman Travelogue Anyone??!

Chickies.....Here are 3 pics from my trip to Grand Cayman. The resort is located on the more remote East End of the island. It's called Morritt's Tortuga Club.

The first is a view from my bedroom overlooking one of the pools with the beach in the background. I bought a poolside timeshare in this complex. It's a 2 bedroom, 3 full bath that is 10 steps from the pool.

The second is a pic of my feet as I'm relaxing at another pool on the property. It's one of those infinity-edge pools that seems to flow right into the Caribbean. It was soooooo beautiful!

The third is a pic from my favorite beach chair. The guys in the picture were testing a work platform "raft" that will be used to construct a new dock that will have a boardwalk, tiki bar & dive shop. The old one was washed away by Hurricane Ivan in 2004.

Just wanted to give you a taste of my little Slice of Paradise

Wooo that's one pretty nice timeshare you got there! LOVELY!

Dress pics coming up! Imagine it without the lumpy belly - I will wear better underwear next time! Oh and also the brooches are removeable (on the straps) which makes it look nicer. The one I have doesn't have the huge train!

Woke up feeling a little "thinner" this morning, so weighed myself to see.
YES!!!! Another ugly pound gone! Don't know how, but I'll TAKE IT!

Off for a Gazelle date with Tony, followed by a little weight work ....see ya'll later! Make it a great day, Girls!

Jill- Yippee!!! Good job on the 2 more pounds loss! What an awesome Spring gift to yourself. Have a great date with Tony.

Still not much to report here. I did regain the weight I lost over spring break...a few too many of those oatmeal raisin cookies I guess. Oh well, that's my fault. It's been so much easier to get back on track since coming back to work. I need to be scheduled. Several of my friends are doing Weight Watchers pretty successfully. I used to do it a few years ago, so I'm kinda giving it a try. Of course along with exercising more this week. Dh has a follow up cardiologist appointment next month...so this will help his results on the treadmill test.

Have a great one, ladies.

Our beautiful Star!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We missed you!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sold your bike? Cash sounds nice - hope you get to do something fun with it.

I've been working too much overtime...missed my workouts all week and now I'm tired and grumpy. But tomorrow is a new day...I'm going to the gym if I have to sneak out of work.

Reb - chin up girl! It might help alot to have work buddies to keep you motivated. It helps me a lot - we try to walk like 20 minutes a day during a break. We don't always pull it off - but we make it out at least 3 times a week. It always puts me in a better mood.

2Fru - gorgeous dress - I especially like the straps in the back.

Jill - tans and sunshine and beaches...ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I might just have to use one of those shots as desktop wallpaper....excuse me I'm going to my happy place....call back later.....

Oooh look at you all mah-velous ladies!

Jill - well done with the lbs

Reb - those lbs of oatmeal cookies will come off in no time

Hello STAR! Lotsa money! Are you gonna buy another bike....?

for grumpy Gina

I am doing ok, eating is good, feeling positive for the weekend, going to a farmer's market tomorrow morning to buy lots of apples and things!

Kickboxing wasn't quite the fight-fest I thought it was going to be. There is a muslim guy there who I'm "not allowed" to fight with - because of his religion. Fair enough, but HELLLLL-O it's fighting... What's sexual about that... He believes that only my husband should be "alllowed" to touch me. AHEM! Don't I decide that? What am I? Second class citizen? Rant over.

I ended up doing break-falls and getting creamed by the instructor He says I'm crap at sparring because no-one hurts me... He says he doesn't want to have to "cure" me of it by beating me to pulp, so I'd better get good!

Sun is shining, weather is sweet, makes you want to move, those dancing feet...

Might get out for a long run tonight, depends.

Morning biker babes....
Well with the money from my bike I'm paying off my braces, credit card and a down on some more land up north.....DH says that when I'm ready for a new bike we can do that... For now I will be riding '*****' with him, hanging onto his love handles and smiling...lol
Well to explain my MIA status.....after my bunion surgery, they found something amiss in my bone marrow. Ends up I have very low grade lymoho proliferative disease, so low grade it is not treatable yet, just watchable. Anyhow the dr's sent me home and said "Don't Worry." Well that's when I went into semi depression mode.....started developing other symptoms, etc.
So I have this family inside connection at mdanderson hospital in texas, so I sent the labs there. So in two weeks they want me to come there for some free workup and lots of hospitality. My DSIL and many friends live there, actually I lived there for 16 years....I will keep you posted (now that I am talkig again).....
I missed you guys too.....Hugs...

Star- I am so thrilled that you are back. We really have missed you. I know that it's so easy for people to say "Don't worry", but it's normal to worry. I am so glad that you got into MD Anderson. My co-worker has a permanent stage 4 (I think)cancer and I REALLY wish she'd check that out. Being connected to your friends and family will help with feelings of depression. I would be a mess by now if it wasnt for the support from family and friends including all you biker chicks! Always remember we're here for you if you want to talk about and if you don't feel like talking about it...we're here, too. Big Hugs to you, sweetie!

2fru-Yeah! I love that you beat up guys, keep kicking butt!

Not much going on for me this weekend .

Have a great Friday everyone!

Star - MD Anderson Hospital looks quite impressive. I'm so glad you have access to specialists. from me, too! Sending : that your tests come out well.

2Fru- I was checking your blog (which I always enjoy BTW ) ...I woulda prolly hit send on the snarky email...you are being such a grownup....

I'm doing much better - I guess I was due for a weekend. I went to a different gym today just for kicks....it was kinda neat to have different machines to play with.

It just keeps raining over here...I think we are going to float away soon.

First - Hi Star!!! We missed you! We are sending you mucho good vibes towards good health, sweetie!

2frust - you are gorgeous, girl!! what a beautiful, understated dress...and then the beautiful back detail...congrats!

Flabaked - welcome back!!! and congrats to you for the timeshare, that is GREAT!!! and omg, you came back a pound lighter?? and then lost another one, you are on fire!!!

we'll have to exchange email addies and then cell phone numbers, and 'firm up' our meeting plans!

Gina - hi girl! sorry to hear of the rain. hope it clears up for you!

Andrea - hi! congrats on all your cleaning, sorry you couldn't have another week to recover from it all. Congrats on the bags! they are so helpful.

sorry I haven't visited here since March 22! I'm s-l-o-w-l-y progressing in trying to get rid of the awful cookie monkey-on-my-back habit

MY BIG NEWS - I got a different bike! I was at the dealers, buying a pair of gloves...I asked the parts guy what kind of aftermarket pipes he recommended for my incoming '05 VTX...he said he liked Rhinehart BUB Jub Huggers ( ) and had them installed on a bike on the floor. He led me to said bike...and BAM! I was in love!! This is a black '06 VTX, with GOODIES GALORE already on it...
the BUB pipes
Kuryakyn Hypercharger
Kuryakyn Split Stem mirrors with LED signals
Kuryakyn Switchblade Cruisin' pegs, driver pegs and pass. pegs
Kuryakyn bullet LED rear turn signals
Clear LED tailight

It put me a little more in debt than I had planned, but I am SOOOO psyched about it!! I paid for it (well, mostly) on Thursday, and could have brought it home then, except I was alone (no on e to drive my car home) and my driveway is still very muddy..I'm OK with maneuvering my old bike around, but I will be patient and wait for the drive to dry out before I bring my new bling-y beauty home

Holly - what a TREAT! A new bike and new hair!

I lost 2lbs last week! HUZZAH! The extra running and clean-ish eating is paying off! YAY! I'm going to by myself Pink's new album for getting through the weekend without a huge bingefest!

2lbs down, just 23lbs to go! Well we'll see what happens! I'd like to be at least 154...

I'm feeling confident on my precious bikey, the roads are dry and there's not too much wind (although it has been a bit blustery recently!). I'm looking forward to getting a newer, bigger one - Jan 2007! I'm counting the days! I'm restricted to 33bhp till then

BTW - I've changed the comment settings on my blog, anyone can leave a comment now - feel free!
