Howdy all.

Not much to report on the frus front. Same old same old!

Did get nicely battered at kickboxing last night. Am struggling with food this week, didn't have time to do my veggies and chicken last weekend... So now we know why we do that Got a chinese take-out to eat tonight and pizza tomorrow - all in the name of socialising!

Back to kickboxing tomorrow

Have a lovely weekend ladies -

Hey everyone!

Not much to report here this week either. Not too much happening. I've been pretty quiet all week.

Have had some struggles with food this week, but I keep trying to get back to it each meal. I guess that's life.

Have a great weekend everyone!!! It will be super cold here and I just want to stay in and keep warm. I wish the work day was over already...

Hey chicks happy Friday. This has been a long week for some reason. It is the frozen tundra here in CO. I think the high is 14 degrees today. COLD!

We are having a swap meet this weekend in Colorado Springs so dh and I will be going down for the weekend. It is only about 1 ½ hours from home. We decided to make it a mini weekend get away. It should be fun. I don’t know how many folks will show up to a swap in this weather but you never know.

Fl Sun I keep meaning to ask you about this cruise thing you have listed as an interest. Is cruising something you do on a frequent basis? I am going on my first cruise in 2007 with several friends. I don’t even have any of the details yet as we won’t be booking for another month or so. I am just trusting in a girlfriend who has done this several times to make all the arrangements.

I hope you all have a blast this weekend in what ever you do, don’t make pigs out of yourself this weekend ladies, Have a good one! Keep on Keep'n on!

Hey Chickies!

Boy....I've been reading thru the posts and it looks like many of you are REALLY freezing your butts off! Our daughter lives in Woming up near Cody & Yellowstone and it's -11 there for a high today. Too bad it's not possible to literally "freeze our butts off"!! If that were true I'd be moving North! Well....since it's not true, I'll be staying here in the tropics!

Today we rode our HOG over to the beach and rode along the coast from New Smyrna down to Cocoa near the Space Center. Saw eagles, dolphin and a couple of manatee along the way! It was EIGHTY degrees today....we had lunch at the end of the Cocoa Beach Pier as we watched the surfers and beach-goers down below. I stayed on-plan except for those 2 Michelob Ultras I had Nice day! Guess we rode about 250 miles. When we went across the causeway at Port Canaveral, the Sovereign of the Seas (Royal Caribbean) was in port. I always love to SEE the ships if I can't be ON one! That's the ship that the 4-day Harley Cruise is on this coming November 6th.

Harley...we love to cruise! It's such a great vacation. We are treated like royalty for the whole week or 10 days! Went on the Sun Princess to Cayman, Cozumel, Jamaica, etc. in 2004. Went to St. Thomas & St. Maarten last November on the Caribbean Princess.....going again this October 29....same cruise, same ship. Goes out of Fort Lauderdale. It gets back the day before the Harley cruise, so we're still trying to figure out of we can run home, do laundry and get over to Port Canaveral for that cruise too! We shall see. Then next March we're going to do a 10-day Panama Canal on the Coral Princess. We love to cruise on Princess. What cruise are you taking with your friends?? There's a fun cruise line forum at www.cruiselineforums.com that I'm on....you'll find me over there as flsunbakd. There's lots of info about cruises there and lots of fun peeps!

Cuddle up and stay warm, My Chickie Friends!

Hey Biker-Babes!

Where is everyone?? Must be a great weekend for all of you! Hope some of you are getting out to ride!

Fun weekend for me ....yesterday we rode through the Ocala National Forest. Nice day! Only problem was....I was totally bad yesterday. It was the first time since Jan 2 that I've gone whacky on my Sonoma plan. Had a chicken taco salad and couldn't resist that damn fried bowl it came in. Ate the whole thing.

I'm back on-track today tho.....and HERE'S THE BEST NEWS!!!! HH bought me the top-end Gazelle Power Plus yesterday with the piston resistance and training tapes. He really wanted a "glider-type" piece of equipment since we had one before and he loved it. SO......I will have NO EXCUSE for working out each day! We are turning our extra bedroom into our Gazelle Room. I'll have my Pilates mat in there too. Guests will stay in our little guest-bunglow next door. It's cute, cozy, and just a few steps from our house.

Here's a pic of me on my new Gazelle.....see what happened to me just thinking about being on it??!!

Have a Happy Sunday & Enjoy Yourselves today!

Hey Flsunbakd - send some of that sunshine our way...as soon as my bike got fixed it got cold and wet. It almost snowed yesterday - they got snow about 500 feet higher up (from sealevel). Not normal for Central California at all. Have fun on your gazelle - was the gazelle pic supposed to be a joke? She looks just like the chick in the avatar...

Cruises - I haven't tried one yet - they do look pretty nice! So far, our adventures have been more independent. DH isn't much of a social butterfly. I have travelled a bit - I was an exchange student for a year in Germany when I was 18 (many moons ago) and lived in Jamaica for a year and a 1/2 when I was like 8. Since getting married - the travels have all gone to Mexico - shoulda married an airline pilot. JK - I think I'll keep DH...I've got 18 years of training invested.

Stay warm, everybody!

Howdy all!

Getting back on track after a rest week and about 3 or 4 horrible eating days!! However I did discover Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Fudge Brownie frozen yoghurt. Tastes just as good, if not better than the real thing!

Had good food yesterday, got good food with me today, ran yesterday lunch, taught my little horrors last night, then I have training tonight where I plan to spar like a butterfly - with fists and feet!

Oh Chicks.....I just can't get on the scale today. I know I haven't lost and I probably have gained....and I just can't face the disappointment in myself.

I'm hoping that when our Gazelle shows up on our door step it will spark a new motivation for me. I really do think it will, because I can't wait for it to arrive! When we had a similar exerciser years ago, HH used it everyday. I wasn't "in the zone" then, and I'm sooooooooooooo looking forward to planning our workouts together now. He's very excited about getting this...and his excitement is contagious for me, thank God!

Today I'm really going to concentrate on eating right. Yesterday I ate the right things, but probably too much of them.
WHY DO WE DO THIS??????
It's so depressing.

Kathy...I do hope you're feeling better today

And Gina....your lowest adult weight??? WOWOWOW!! That is FABULOUS news!

2Frus....You GO Girl! Sounds like you've got a good training planned for tonight

Hey ladies!

Kathy-Sorry you aren't feeling good. I hope that you are taking good care of yourself today!

Gina- Whoo hoo! Congrats on the weight loss. That's so hot!

flsunbakd- I am right there with you. I am in such a slump lately. My goal is to be about 100 pounds less by my 30th birthday...in exactly 1 year tomorrow, but if I dont get my @ss in gear it isnt going to happen. I think that I need some accountability or huge exciting reward to re-motivate myself...hmmm...not sure.

2fru- I think that is so awesome how you can enjoy a weekend off (food wise), but you get right back in control. You're my hero!

Not much going on today. We had yesterday off and I really enjoyed, but now I'm back to the grind. Did you hear that someone won MY millions in the lottery??? Can you believe the nerve??? LOL. Seriously, if that person was me it would have been claimed as soon as possible. I would be on a plane to somewhere tropical, Where I be fanned by tanned native boys while I sipped foo-foo drinks with umbrellas...aggghhh...

Have a great day ladies!

Hey Chicks! Congrats Gina!!!! Lowest adult weight WOW! You go girl!

Had yesterday off as it was a Holiday for the schools. At least it warmed up to 20 something yesterday. It has been so cold here it is crazy. Fl Sun do you see the green eyed monster coming out in me when you describe your weekend out on the Harley? Sounds so wonderful. It is suppose to get up close to 40 today. Shorts and tee shirts weather!

My DH is having some complications with his diabetes. He is almost totally blind in his right eye. He is going to have pictures taken of the inside of his eye next week and then they are going to insert a needle direct in to the eye and shoot it with steriods. Scray! I am just hoping they can get some vision back but it doesn't sound to promising. Now we just have to do what we can for the other eye as there is already damage to the eye at this time. He is keeping his diabetes under control for the most part but does have some trouble. He is on insulin which somewhat seems to help.

Well all have a great day and Keep on Keep'n on!

Harleymom & your DH

Reb, I did have a hard time getting back to clean eating after a weekend of sin I had Friday and Saturday pigging out, then Sunday I counted calories and ratios, but I ended up still eating 2 gingerbread men and frozen yoghurt! I just had a protein shake with them!

Work is looking busy for the next few weeks. Should be good, but it's getting a little crazy sometimes too. I know we're all laid back here, but outside pressures can be a little intimidating. Never mind!

Good Morning!

HarleyMom- to you and your Dh. My hubby has diabetes, too...so I told him about your Dh's complications...I hope he listened. My thoughts are with you both.

2frus- I think that you must burn a zillion calories a day with you workouts, so I doubt a few days off will hinder your weight loss much. As for work...ugghhh...try to relax when you can.

Not much to report today. I finally got my eating under control yesterday and so far so good.

Hello to everyone else! Have a great day!
