Happy Birthday, 2Fru!!!!!

I was celebrating for ya....5 chocolate chip cookies...in other words, I ate your present. Sorry 'bout that. Hope you had a good one, tho!!

Andrea -
Lessee - today's menu was pretty good until I was attacked by the cookies.
Breakfast - yogurt (120 cals - sugar & fat free) and a peanut butter choc chip granola bar (120 cals), coffe with fat free 1/2 & 1/2 and splenda.
Snack - tangerine
Lunch - Mc Donald's Cobb Salad with grilled chicken (280 cals) and low fat balsamic dressing (70 cals) Diet Soda
Snack - apple
Dinner - steak, greek salad, carrots, brussel sprouts, and the evil cookies
Take care of yourself!! It really wreaks havoc with your metabolism to starve and binge...

Harleymom...the new floor still has to be swept. Most disappointing, I thought it would be self cleaning. JK! It does look tons better than the old one when I sweep it.

Kathy - I have an IUD, too. Mine has hormones in it - no more monthly visits for me!! Woo Hoo! But it wasn't too comfy for the first couple of days (apparently most women who get them have had children which stretches things). I hope you are feeling better. I can't even tell it's there, now. As for Jillian Michaels and the BL book - they are two different things. The BL book is by Bob, I haven't checked it out yet. I've been doing Jillian's workouts from her book Winning by Losing for 10 weeks now. It kicks my butt but I like it. I'm learning a lot, I am starting to feel like a gym bunny. Which is pretty funny considering I never went to a gym (except once) before this summer.

Star - love the avatar!! You are such a hottie!

Hi Chicks...
Well I don't know what happened but I'm sick. I noticed Friday night I was coughing alot, then Sat morning I was really sick when I got up....So I took it easy and watched tv all weekend.....bad cold....
Harley - Love the new ticker - you Rock!
Andrea - Funny you mention purging, becuz last night on "Intervention" there was a bulemic on there. What an awful desease that is - YUCK! This poor girl was 25 and she was throwing up several times a day. Unfortunately, I fell asleep before she accepted or denied the intervention. Please don't ever go there again. You can do this weightloss thing the healthy way.....and that is by actually eating....Hugs to you
Have to run - but will be back later....

Hi all!
I'm feeling much better now. In fact I was able to exercise yesterday and I'll do it again tonight. Nothing too hard, just some time on the recumbant bike.

Sorry you're sick Star, just when you were able to start exercising again!
Thanks for the book info Chick. I'll go to Barnes and Noble this weekend and look at both of them. I don't have any hormones in my IUD, and I hear the monthly friend is supposed to be worse now. Oh well, no more pills!
I'm glad you're birthday was good 2Frustrated!

Hi to everyone else! I don't have a lot of time today, I have 2 new employees that I have to train. Makes my head hurt.

Kathy

Jazzercise with a cold - now that's dedication....I'm a weenie when I get sick...much whining and moaning and feeling sorry for myself.

Kathy - glad you are feeling better!

Governor Arnold was beaned by a cager - he was on his Harley and had his kid in the side car. He (Arnold - not the son) got like 16 stitches above his lip - otherwise everone is fine. He mentioned that the car driver looked him straight in the eye and then backed into him anyway....maybe she's unhappy with his politics? Actually - I think it's a testament to people needing to pay more attention to what thye are doing. There seems to be no evidence that it was intentional.

I heard about Arnie too, if a world famous double-hard- can still get knocked off his bike by a cager then what hope is there for the rest of us?

Hope everyone's having a great time, snuffles and sneezles can take a hike when I'm around!

Yesterday did a mega active day, run, kickboxing teaching and upper body weights. Today it's only kickboxing!

Hi Biker Babes -
Well Jazzercize went without a hitch...Loved being back. Took it alittle easy but loved the movement....The foot didn't even swell up. I will be going there on M,W&T nights.
Got up this a.m. to do my exercise stuff at 4:30 but felt like dog dooky. So I took some cold medicine and went back to bed for two more hours. I couldn't call in sick today - have too much year end stuff to get done.
Plus have to get my teeth cleaned at one. I called them yesterday to let them know I have a cold and they said to come anyway.....If they say that, with braces I'm there.....
Also changed my ticker to reflect my weightloss - oh-rah....
Hugs to all..

Hidy-ho neighbors!

I'm all alone at work today so I don't have to train anyone! Yeah, I get some "alone" time!

Star, you are a trooper! I don't like to workout if I'm sick, I'm a baby that way.
2Frustrated, do you ever run out of energy???

I exercised last night and I have my gym back packed to go tonight too. I've got to get to work on those ticker stats!

Have a fantastic day everyone!
Kathy

Check it out - Arnie doesn't even have a motorcycle license....that kinda steams me. Not that he deserves to be hit - but that he never bothered. Hollywood types...can you tell I'm from Northern California?

Angry The new and improved cover story

Quote from the Sacramento Bee:
Later in the day, however, he found himself facing more serious questions about his driver's license. The Sacramento Bee reported the governor admitted, through Thompson, he never obtained the M-1 or M-2 endorsement on his license he needed to legally drive a two-wheel motorcycle on the street, despite the fact that he's done so for years.

Thompson said the governor did have the appropriate Class C license for operating a motorcycle with a sidecar.

Thompson said she checked on Schwarzenegger's driver's license on Monday in response to a question from KFI-AM radio in Los Angeles. She said the governor said he had a European license that allowed him to ride a motorcycle in this country when he came to America in 1968, but she wasn't sure it was still valid.

Since when does a sidecar negate the need for a motorcycle license? IMO -they are really hard to control...much harder than 2 wheels.

He should have a license for that! But you know who really needs a separate license and testing done to drive.......poeple who have huge motorhomes! The first time I saw my mom behind the wheel of a 40something foot motorhome it scared the bejesus out of me!

Winnebagos and UHaul trucks...nothing scares me more than stressed out people on moving day trying to drive one of those things. At least with the RV they prolly own it.
