The "sugar" and "alcohol" points from what I've gleaned from the Aussie WW forum are part of your normal 24pts a day (not extra) and WW recommend that you don't exceed 14pts worth of sugary food or alcohol during a week. They count a sugary food as one that has sugar in the first three ingredients, like doughnuts, cake, biscuits(cookies), chocolate, etc. 1 sugar point=1 regular point, so if you have a cookie that's worth 3 pts, that's three of your sugar points for the week GONE.
Some ladies do quite well not tracking the sugar points, others don't. 'POINTS(c)' are measured using kjs and saturated fat. For example, a blueberry bagel at 1300kj with 2g of saturated fat is 5 points.
