SF would be great Marti!!! I thought you guys were going to Cresent City? Always wanted to go to SF. Rocky has a sister that lives there, I suggested meeting half way and settle there to live ....

Craving beans again..........lol. Just working lots and I go on Friday to the custody evaluation hearing.

I will check in later tonight, I just wanted to say hi to you all..........

Just popping in for a quick hello!

Angie - how far are you from Montana? I just LOVE Target's housewares dept. They have stuff that looks like Pier 1, you know what I mean?

Cristi - one of our local furniture stores does what yours does - sells your old stuff at no profit when you buy new from them. It's a win-win situation. I know what you mean about all the white paint! When we lived in town, we just stuck to Soft White for anything that needed white paint, lol. Let me tell you, we learned that the hard way, lol. I'll check out that site tomorrow. Sounds like a cool place to work, though!

Marti - hope you're having a good day!

I've had a really good day! It's been cold, and snowing off and on, but who cares, lol. In like a lion, out like a lamb, right?

Hi to everyone else, but I have to run....

See you mañana!!

Hi Jane, we are only just 2 hours away. 4 hours total to Target...lol
My mother was like that everything had to be egg shell white. When I got our first house, I painted each room a different color,,,she was amazed. She has wild colors now in each room too....lol
Hey Susan, just glad you pop in when you can.

I have only 2 pairs of wings to finish making...thats the ladies thou. 20 mens are half way done, but being they are half the size, feel like we are just whipping them out. Made an awesome head piece for this one fairy. Just need to add a bridal veil and its completed. Just have another 15 to go...*sigh Im running out of ideas...lol And fingers, Ive burned myself on the glue gun each time and man the blisters are killing me.
Im desperate for a hair cut already. Ive grown it out so much its touching my shoulders...I can do a ponytail. If I get a trim I can't do that but if I don't get a trim,,,I have blah hair. arghhh hate this in between look.
well off to bed I go,,,night all

Jane~ Thanks for the congrats! Right now, out of both sets of parents, only my mom knows, I am sure that she has told my dad by now. But we haven’t told Tommy’s parents yet.

As for my plans for today, hmmmmmm…….probably sleep, take care of Brandon, play with Brandon, attempt to cook dinner/or at least help with dinner. I have a sore throat. I woke up Monday morning and my throat was extremely sore. I laid Brandon in his bed, and went into the kitchen to get something to drink. Drank some juice and climbed back into bed for another two hours when Brandon woke me up for the day.

Angie~ What kind of tattoo did Tanner get? (not being nosey, just curious because I have two)

Katiecat~ Brandon loves to head butt mainly me, if he gets mad and I was the one that made him mad. Lately, he has been using his hand and banging it on the side of his head. One of my younger brother’s head bangs when he doesn’t get his way or is tired. The last time we were up north, Brandon didn’t see any of Sean doing it, but since we came back he has been hitting his head with his hand. I told Tommy that we are back to limiting the number of times that we go up there. Thanks for the congrats!

Cristi~ I am going to call the doctor’s office soon. The last time I went there, when I was pregnant with Brandon, I got lucky and already had an appointment schedule. But when I called to ask them a question, they told me that they usually don’t schedule an OB appointment before 10 weeks for some reason.

You know, now I can say “my little boy is going to be a year old next month” and it be true. Tell me again why they have to grow up so quickly?

Susan~ It is good to hear from you.

Oh…..I don’t know if I mentioned this before, but I did a few new things while we were without internet. About a week before we got the internet back, I went and got the top of my left ear pierced. Then a week later, I went and got my hair cut short again! I had been telling Tommy that when I get pregnant again, I wanted to cut it short, since it would be easier and plus I liked when I had my hair short with Brandon.

Good Morning!
This week is just zipping right on by.... I had a pretty good NSV yesterday. Felt a little frustrating at the time. The fundraising auction for my daughter's preschool is coming up in a month. I had some time while DD was at school, so I began trying all my dressy things, trying to cobble together an outfit for this thing, which I would say is casual dressy or business casual - tho' some folks like to really get formal. All my stuff was too big! I was frustrated because I really wanted to put something together out of my closet and save some money. I sat there and looked at my closet, took a deep breath... then I just started pitching! Next, I went on to Target.com, Nordstrom, com, and Zappos and bought some new clothes. May I just say Target has a really good clearance section for women right now - you should check it out. Nordstrom's sale area wasn't too shabby, either. I had my What Not to Wear advice right beside me and I made sure to get the "magic" pants

It was quite therapeutic I even found some maternity clothes in my closet...ugh.. it was definitely time to update my wardrobe.

Good news - our neighbor is handing down her 4y/o girls clothes to my DD - wahoo! So I'm not the only chick in this family getting a wardrobe update....whew! just in time for Easter. I just bought Leigh some very cute sandals and was beginning to wonder what else she was going to wear for the big day. Most of the time she is content in jeans and a Tshirt...

Jane - Well, we had a smidgen of rain which, for this year, will have to qualify for the "in like a lion" part of March. We are going to have a dry summer, for sure. Fortunately we won't have much watering to do other than the vegetable garden. We planted some eco-lawn last year, so this year it is supposed to need very little watering.

Mindee
- My OB told me that the 10 weeks is so that the docs can hear a heartbeat. Everyone is different - Had a friend w/a high risk pregnancy who ws monitored very closely from way early.... W/ DD we even got a portable ultrasound and she looked like a little peanut with a heartbeat. My son (4 at the time) thought that was so cool! Then he wanted to see what the speculum was used for. We drew the line on that one.

Susan - glad to see you check in - good luck with the custody eval. on Friday.

Angie - did you ever get the wings done? What a project - what show is this for? See my note above about Target.com...some great sales right now.

Cristi - hope you get the job - too bad you can't dress up, that looks like fun. Sounds like you and I are both cleaning out our closets.... I should consign some of it - that's a great idea.

Katiecat - Disney is getting ever closer! I've been on hold at the library for "American Idiot" for a long time. What I have heard so far, I like.......can't wait to hear the whole thing.

Hi to Marti - Ellen - Pam and anyone else I may have missed
Have a great day

Hi Ladies,

Angie - for the record, I didn't have all white rooms! It was the trim in some of the rooms, and the bathroom cabinets that we used the white for. Have you tried the Cool Touch glue gun? They're nice to use. When I had my craft shop, I switch over to spare my poor fingers, lol.

Mindee - glad you got a new hair style that you like. When I go in for a dye job, I'm going to have mine trimmed about an inch and a half. Will yours and Tommy's parents be thrilled with your news?

Katy - YAY for your NSV!!! My closet is slowly but surely filling back up. I had nothing for spring and summer except a few t-shirts that I wore at Walt Disney World, since giving away all my too-big things, but it's amazing how much I've accumulated so far, lol.

This is my Wednesday for Mackenzie Jo. She helped me make Katie's birthday cake for tomorrow, and now she's napping. I'm sure she'll be awake when chat's going on, so I won't be able to make it for that.

Hope you have a good day!

Quick hello here.....

Been busy getting things cleaned up. Kind of a spring cleaning I guess you can say!!

Cristi--I AM counting the days!! Time goes by pretty fast when work is busy! So that really helps. Whichever name you choose is fine w/me! I like both Cristi and Cristina!

Angie--Got on the site and just said "Awwwww...."
I didn't realize that you were making wings for that many people! Now I really want to see a picture. Get them all to pose for you in a big group!

Katy--Hurray on the NSV!!!! How fantastic that must have felt to have everything in your closet be too BIG!! I'm so happy for you!! And what great way to shop!! Must remember that!

Jane--Snow?! Wow.....keep it there, I don't want to see any snow here in Oregon this late in the year! Have fun making that birthday cake! Tell Katie HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Ok...going to pop in real quick to chat....if nobody is in there...I got to get going.

Have a great day ladies!

Happy Hump Day Ladies~

Guess I am sticking with cristi04 username. didn't even realize it when I signed in, I automatically signed in on this.

Mindee~I forgot about that. My doc didn't want to make an appt. till I was 8 weeks this last time (2000). But she did have me go tot he lab and take a blood test before that. Guess they don't want to waste their time if you aren't pregnant. With the other three they took me in when I called and told them I thought I was pregnant, of course that was back in the 80's. You'll have to post a pic of your new haircut.

Katy~WTG! Can't beat the old clothes not fitting and getting new ones! Both you and little Miss Leigh. Love Target too!

Jane~fortunately the only white things in the house are the front and kitchen door. All the doors and trim in the house are oak, I really would prefer them to be white though. Well, the kitchen door leading to the garage will be white in a day or so. As soon as I can figure which shade of white I like-who would have thought choosing a white paint color would be so hard?

Angie~I didn't realize you guys were so close to Montana.

Susan~you and your beans...did you get some? I too like beans but don't fix them often because no one else likes them.

Didn't really feel like going to Wal-Mart today, first of the month and all. But I did anyway just to get it over with. Sometimes I really hate going there. At least this time they had enough cashiers working, even though it seemed like there were less people there this time. Other than that nothing much going on with me-a slow week for me and I am not sure I like it. Means I have to do more housework! Oh well, at least it will be clean. Anywho...that's all I have.

Take care ladies and have a good one!

Hi Marti~thought I better say Hi before moving on, going to go change my avatar. I know, I know...again!

Ok, the boss is gone and I am FINALLY caught up on paperwork for a few days, yay.

My congrats to Mindee & Tommy on the new baby! That is very exciting, happy for you both. Rachel and Rebecca are 16 months apart and I loved how close in age they were - though I did cry a lot. I just loved my time with Rachel and when I found out I was pregnant with Beck I mourned.....lol. Anyway, that is my baby story Mindee .

Congrats to Tanner on getting the part in the play! Wooo hooo......
hmmm, you know Ang I was thinking of you today. You said something about when you visited it rained and rained???? It was mid June, of course it rained! lol.......sorry about the weather - these last few weeks have been wonderful.Toasty warm and the tree's are blooming- just so pretty. If you visited now you wouldn't have to dry your hair under a hand dryer

Happy for you Marti and your trip to SF I have one vacation day left and I am using it on Friday to go down for the custody eval hearing. Oh, please, please......let us get this over with! Dang......
Anxious to hear how you like it. It is one place I might compromise on with Rocky as a place to live.

Glad your sister is doing better Pam

What size is Leigh wearing Katy?? Gaby is in a 5/6 now - tall for her age.

Hi to Katie ......sure you will have tons of fun at Disneyland!! So jealous everyones trips......lol

ahhh, Rocky is on the phone. Someone stole my cell last night from the lobby. It was found today by a resident. We are doing fine. Still up in the air about nana *roll eyes*. He really HAS to visit Portland and my daughters and blah - blah.....first priority is this custody thing.

Anyway, tax refund is coming soon! I bought a cute skirt and white sweater at Goodwill today and Gaby a Gymboree jumper w turtle neck. I think that was all for 19. 99 ¢..........hey, Jane....LOVE that cents sign! lol......

Congrats to Cristi on the weight loss Happy for you.

Better get..........free ice cream today at Baskin Robbins with a coupon from Yahoo............need to go get my scoop! lol

Good morning ladies~

Wow, no one has posted other than Susan since I was here last. Where is everyone?

Susan~good luck tomorrow. Keeping my fingers and sending good vibes and lots of luck that everything goes your way and works out for the best. : I know you will be relieved when it is all over. I thought of you and Rocky this morning-I heard Christopher Robin on the radio-love that song. Everyone seems to be getting new clothes, I want new clothes! Waaaaaahhh...just kidding. I don't want to buy any new clothes till I lose some weight. Still have some cute summer outfits so I am good for now. Your skirt and sweater sounds really nice and a GREAT bargain!

Going to head out to Lowes a little bit later to check out a couple of things and look at the borders again. We got our shutters in yesterday, although minus the hardware, so thought if I am going to put a border up now is the time to do it. Didn't care for the one we got from Home Depot afterall. I may try a wallpaper store, not sure where one is though. Anyway, that's about all I have for now.

Hi to everyone

Take care and have a wonderful day! Supposed to get up to 65 here today so I plan on getting out! Later...

Good Afternoon ladies....

I'm with Cristi here...where IS everyone? Hope you are all enjoying this day. It's bright and sunny here in Oregon!

Cristi--Like the advatars that you're using. Where are you getting them and how are you making them larger? I can't even see my tiny face in the advatar I have (which isn't such a bad thing! ) But I would like something different. Hope you find the borders that you're looking for today!

Susan--I hope the hearing goes in your favor tomorrow. What a way to spend a vacation day! But I'm sure it will all be worth it in the end. Does Rocky plan on coming to Portland soon, at least for a visit to see how it is? I hope so. San Fran is a nice place...if you get a chance to visit soon, go, that way you can see if it's worth the compromise.

Jhanai's play was so cute last night. The girl who got the part she wanted was messing up her lines and Jhanai just had this look.......poor girl (the other girl not jhanai!) It lasted an 90mins or so....since they were on a makeshift stage and had to hand turn the background. I had fun watching it and Jhanai looked like she really enjoyed being a part of it.

Ok ladies, I'm going to browse a bit and then get my day started. Hope you all have great day! The weekend is almost here!!

Hi.

It is somewhat of a slow day in the office. Sun is shinning and who wants to work??lol

Thanks you guys! It is really hard making the trip to the coast - old age maybe. I haven't had any good luck so far so fingers crossed tomorrow the judge will be in favor of sending us both back into mediation instead of paying hundreds of $$$ on a custody evaluation.

I received a letter today from Child Support saying that Mike never has mailed his $50.00 agreement payment. Though he told them last Wednesday he would mail it within the next 2 days. So, the letter says he has 14 days to respond otherwise his license is suspended.

So..........YAY.....let something be done - yahoo - burn his butt. lol.....Not being mean but sheesh.....little Gabster needs things.

Even though I am rather handy dandy at this thrieft store shopping. I dressed Gaby in her new jumper and shirt this morning- she looked so cute.

Jhanai sounds so cute Marti. I really need to see about Rachel getting involved with an acting group - since she has voiced interest. Though I still think getting involved with the church choir would also be a good thing.

Hi Cristi!! I never have been to Lowes. Hope you are having a good day. Wonder where everyone is at - especially Julie.

ahhhh - better get to work! BBL

Hi ladies,

Just popping in for a quick hello. Ellen PMed me and says to tell everyone hi, and that she'll check in when she can.

Mary and I went to Evansville early today - yes, that's 2 trips for me in 4 days, lol. Found more bargains! Then we had Katie's birthday party, and it was a lot of fun. She's out with friends now, lol.

I am so tired... gonna go take a shower and read a bit.

Ciao, bellas!
