Morning Ladies!

Hi Sherri! Glad you found us

Roxy,
Yep I am moving back to a Fat Chick on the Beach It is the only plan that I have ever been able to stick to. I just got lazy and fell off the wagon.

Chrissy,
We will all mess up every once in a while b/c we are having a lifestyle change, not a diet. So in life, we are never perfect. Don't ever feel guilty just move on and keep going! Hope your dd joins you!

Deana,
It is awesome that you joined the challenge! WOOHOO!

Chris,
I am thinking of your mom this morning. I sure wish I could come babysit for you so you could stay with her! How long before the results come back??

Tabitha,
We all know what you mean about the trips to the grocery with all the kids... NO FUN!

Anyhow, I went to the movies last night w/ Stephanie (BTW, her puter is down ). We saw Constantine! It was good!

We are gonna take the kiddos to Chuck E Cheese or something today b/c dh and I are making a Casino run tonight!

I have two nights to myself! OMG ..... Is the sky falling said Henny Penny

Have a great day!

Default Good morning! (yawn)

If ever there was a time to be a coffee drinker...it would be now. I am so tired. But the sister's kids are on there way here and Tiana has a game this a.m. too. I just feel exhausted. And darn that hospital food. I looked at the scale this morning and its 199.

Penny-my mom will get the results back Monday or Tuesday. The doctor says it depends on how many lymph nodes they have. They don't know how many they got because they are in clusters in your body. They now have to seperate them from the fat tissue and analyze everyone they have.

Tabitha-Thank you for your prayers too. It's funny. You never think of it happening to someone you love.

Well since no one is awake yet....Good luck to the challengers tomorrow. This ought to be one heck of a contest. I love it! This time, I'm not going to slack off toward the end. I'm going to keep plugging right along even if I get discouraged...

Good morning everyone!
The sun is shining over the tundra here and it looks like it's going to be a wonderful day! My house is clean *gasp* except for the bedrooms of my dear ones. They are doing them today! I only have school uniforms to wash and I'm done! I adjusted my portions yesterday, and all that I really missed was the supper fare. Wahhhh! I have to admit I love my food it's like getting up early, you know it's good for you, but you just want a tinsy bit more. I had what I call Egg Foo Yum it's my own recipe but it can also be a SBD one if the fat is substituted. BTW- no one wanted to eat it until they tried it and said, hey this is really good! Believe me a 3 y.o. won't lie!
Egg FooYum
1-16 oz bag frozen stir-fry veggies-I used asparagus stirfry
(watchout for veggies not OP)
2 T. Oil, Butter, or ? to sautee in
1/2-1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. sea salt or seasoning salt
1 tsp. parsley flakes
eggs, 2 per adult and 1 per child, beaten

In a skillet, sautee veggies in oil, till heated through but not soggy, let them remain a little crisp. There will be some water in the skillet, that's okay. put all veggies off to one side of the skillet and add beaten eggs to the other side. Let the eggs start to firm somewhat and then blend thoroughly with vegetables. make sure all the eggs are done. Serve.
I had egg noodles as a side for the starchy people, but brown rice would have been better. Eye up portions for yourself I'm allowed 2 cups cooked veggies...so I eat 2 C portion. I eat this sometimes for lunch when I want something quick and easy. Hope you all like it. It tastes better than it looks.

Chris- I am praying for your mom. I hope that they got everything. Yes, cancer is, I think the scariest medical word that we never want to hear. Courage, very much of it is curable now! We are all praying!

Penny-is there anymore word on Michelle and how she's doing? How did that dinner go for that poor family that got hit by the train? Are you starting Sun or today with SBD? Well, good luck to ya!

I have a stinky son to change so I better scoot but I'll ttyl!

Chris- I hope your mom is in less pain today, poor thing. I'll keep your family in my prayers.

Roxy- I did give up and just work out with my husband there. It had to happen sooner or later, right?

I was starving for some reason yesterday, and the soup I was making never wanted to come to a boil so I ended up eating chips, candy, and ice cream. Dang! Fortunately, I stuck with baked Ruffles, only one serving of candy, and frozen yogurt instead of the chocolate/caramel ice cream that was calling my name I was afraid to touch the scale, but I'm down another half pound. Yeah, this just starting out on a diet thing is great!

I've ordered a couple of exercise DVDs now... one of them is for bellydancing of all things. I thought I'd try something fun and maybe have something my husband would enjoy once I get it all figured out. Of course, I've reminded him that I am the least coordinated person he knows so he shouldn't expect too much.

I'm back from the vet...My little furball has a really bad bladder infection. So antibiotics for 2 weeks and then back to the vet for a urine check. She just better quit peeing all over the place.

Carl (my bil) got done with work early so he took Conner and Cole home. I kept Savanna so she could play with Tiana and Kayla for a while. Kelly will be home late from work because he has to do a dishwasher install, so after dinner I'll run up and check on my mom. See if she got any rest at all and if the pain is a little more tolerable.

I'm looking forward to tomorrow. I really want to make a better go of this challenge and not poop out like I did on the other one. My mom's doctor said these surgeries are hardest on overweight people. If I ever have to have surgery, I want to be as healthy as I can. Besides...bikini season is coming. Yah right! I never jumped in a bikini before, I'm not going to now. Shorts would be nice. Show off my white legs.

THe fighting continues....They all have a case of the grumpies. Insanity is an option.

Where is everyone? HUMMMM?????

I'm almost ready to roll. I have my exercise all mapped out on a calender. I have a menu planned. I still want to fine tune that one. But I plan on being organized this time around. No more messing around. Me and Melissa are going to be neck and neck if it kills me...

My kids are fighting like crazy today. What do you guys all do when your days go like this? Or do your days go this way? I'm going nuts and my stress level is just going through the roof. Bout to make them all move out.

Okay. Back to the challenge preps for me. Talk to ya in a bit.
