HELLO GIRLS!!!!!!!

Sorry I'm not posting on a regular basis. I'm busy with tons of stuff, plus just not feeling in the "mood"...

Shelley, I'm sure your parents will do what is best for them. Sometimes we wonder, but most of the time it works out. Hopefully you can influence them into adding on to your home, that sounds like the way to go. Have you talked to your dad yet? I don't want to butt in, but sometimes it's best to overlook some matters and make amends. Think how horrible you would feel if the last conversation you had with your dad ended with hard feelings. I remember the night before my dad passed away, he tried talking to me and telling me he was going very soon to heaven. I just passed it off and said "dad, you'll be ok"... I have ALWAYS felt bad about that. He was trying to prepare me for what was happening plus he probably wanted to talk about it and I was too dense to understand what was happening.

Sherry, YOU ARE DOING AWESOME ON WEIGHT WATCHERS! Do you eat the Smart Ones/Blue Bunny ice cream sandwiches that are round or rectangular. Don't know why I'm asking, but Seve wanted me to ask you. :-)

Doni, nice to hear from you! I hope things calm down soon!

Crol, {{{{{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}}} I hope you feel the virtual hug I just sent! Hope your feeling better soon!

Janice, hows it going or you this week?

Deb, is your foot better?

ramona, hows the back???? AWESOME! Dan is comig home!!!!!

Well, I NEED to get back to work!

LOVE YA!!!!

Gayle-My dad called me this afternoon. Guess what? He wants us to come over so that he can see what we have in mind. His realtor told him that in her opinion that would be the best way to go. In fact, she is thinking about doing the same with her parents. Here I was so depressed and upset all day and then I got the phone call. I don't know what will happen, but at least they are willing to talk about it.

Hey....I'm back!

Gayle...I agree!! AI's guys are much better!! But I did like 2 of the girls real well. Your post this morning didn't sound like you. Are you getting out of the "mood" you're in? Is everything ok there? I'm not being nosey...just concerned & being a friend. Remember..We're here for you!

Shelley....I'm so excited about your Parents calling and wanting to talk about your plans!!! Maybe they have sat and talked it out and realized that your idea was what they need!! Good luck and let us know what happens! BTW: Here in TN a $299,000 home is a MANSION!!!! OMG!

Debbie....How do you feel tonight with your 1st day back at work from surgery?

Thanks ya'll for my pounds loss congrats! I didn't want to sound like bragging though. Just excited!

Where is EVERYONE?????????? Dee....Did you get yourself down on that beach and can't get up??????? I'm worried.

Hugs....

I'm ok Sherry, just kinda down in the dumps and feeling frumpy. I tried clothes on yesterday in town so now I'm even more depressed! I'm ready for a change, I feel old and fat. Tonight I spent part of the evening on the computer looking at hair styles, my problem is, I find a cute one, but can never find someone to cut it correctly.
I really like the looks of how Martina mcbride wears her hair, but maybe just a bit longer and more blunt on the ends. Here is a link:www.hairboutique.com/ tips/MartinaMcBride3_250... I Like pictures 1,4,5,6 & 7, of course she is gorgeous so I'm sure that helps her carry the style. I need you guys input, what do you think?

Also, I have an art auction/wine tasting I'm helping with this weekend, so far I have two choices of clothing... do I go with a black pant suit with a multi striped purple blouse under the jacket or should I go with the black pants, solid purple short sleeve top and a varigated purple/violet mix poncho over the top? I guess they are called ponchos... the things made of yarn that you slip over your head with an angled hem. Remember, I'm short, will I look a fool wearing one? Also, would it look better with a different color of pant? Oh god, but then I have shoes to worry about. YEEKS!

HELP!!!! CALLING THE FASHION PATROL!!!!! HELP ME PLEASE!!!

SHOOT! If you follow the link it takes you to the home page. Just click on the search up above and type in Martina Mcbride, then after it pulls the results up, click on Martina Mcbride short and sassy.

Gayle...
I love Martina McBride too! She is sooooo beautiful. I like the same numbers you do on the hair styles. I say .....Go for it...Get a new style!!! I'm looking for a new change too.But I'm like you, They never cut it the way I want! BTW: That was a cool site!

Since I don't know what the poncho thingie looks like, I would say go with the black pants, stripped shirt and black jacket (pant suit).Let me know what you wore.

Hope everyone posts today!

Have a great OP day! Hugs........

Thanks, Gayle. Hey, I had time this morning to look at the hairstyle. It is darling! Is your hair straight enough to wear it that way? I've seen that style on several shows. 2 of the actresses on Days of Our Lives have it. I think you would look so cute! Also, on the poncho thing. Several of the teachers at school have been wearing them. They really look elegant when paired with the right pants. Very figure flattering. I think the black pants would be fine. That way if the poncho is too wild, the black will tone it down a bit. I would also wear black heels with it. Let us know what you decide.

Sherry-You are doing so well on WW. I still think it's the best WOE out there, don't you??

BTW, Gayle-Remember I upped my goal, so I really still haven't gone down to 125. I just don't think I can. For some reason, my body just won't get down that far. My clothes are fitting much looser now, so I'm happy. Now I just have to try and stay at this weight.

Shelley, I remembered you upped your goal...I AM SO PROUD OF YOU MEETING YOUR NEW GOAL AND YOUR HAPPY AT THIS WEIGHT! I think this is the safest/healthiest weight for your body, they say once it becomes a struggle to continue to lose, then you should stay where your at.

Hi Girls

I had the nicest surprise at work today. I got flowers delivered to me!! It is a beautiful arrangement with huge red roses, daises, baby's breathe, and some kind of wine wrapped in and out of the cut flowers. It is absolutely gorgeous. It was a complete surprise!! When I read the card, I cried!!
""It said...Happy Birthday Love ya Sherry!!!""

Thank You, Thank You!! Love ya too!!

YOU ARE THE BESTEST FRIEND!!!

Hey all!

Just wanted to stop in and say hi! Things are going good at work and home. Love getting to spend all the time with Stewart I am, however, getting tired on the constant clothes washing and dish washing--I'm used to doing laundry once a week, or even every two weeks. Now I'm doing at least a load every day. Ugh.

Carol, glad to see you back in action.

Shelley, hope you can get things worked out with your parents.

Ramona, I can't imagine either one of my parents with someone else. I know you're dealing with a lot in addition to that, as well. I feel for you.

Gayle, HEY girl! How's life? I try to stay away from all ice cream. Does bad things to my hips. I thought the girls were better than the guys this year. I really like the blond farm girl--she's got a great voice and great control of it.

Hello to Sherry, Debbie, Janice and all my other Floozie friends.

Love ya all!
Cheryl
