1. Angie's DS's feeling better

2. My DD feeling better

3. Christmas Music-been listening to Michael Boltons Christmas CD and loving it.

4. The gift of family and friends

5. Heat-brrrr, it's cold today.


What are you thankful for today?

Today:

1. The beautiful fall weather. The sunshine and cool breezes really make for a perfect day!

2. That James didn't have to go to work first thing this morning....I have him to help with grocery shopping.

3. Grandma's recipes. I got them out this morning and it brought a tear....so glad she gave them to me for me to keep her tasty treats going.

4. Fall leaves. They may be all over my yard right now, but they are just so pretty to look at and it brings memories of me and Jhanai gathering fall leaves to press.

5. My good neighbor friends. They live on the other side of town but our schedules are so different that we don't see much of each other, but we manage to call each other twice a week!

that Mary and Dale got the money they've been waiting for.
that Mackenzie Jo is coming to spend the night.
for a bountiful Thanksgiving menu.
for His blessings everyday, not just on Thanksgiving.
for Yankee "Christmas Tree" candles.
that there is even a small possibility of snow soon.
for all my Jaded buddies.

For today:

1. Jhanai getting an A in her Math class! She's doing so well in school.
2. Having the schedule work out for my best interest.....I didn't have to crawl in a corner and cry!
3. Having most of my shopping done for dinner.....now...who wants to cook it all for me!?
4. For weekends! I can't wait for this weekend. Mine & James annual get together in Portland. My husband actually looks forward to this Crafts Fair!
5. Every friend I have made here with the Jaded Ladies....you are all wonderful!

1. The sun shining, after all that rain yesterday and last night!

2. Diet coke-man I really needed it this morning! it is my coffee.

3. Getting my grocery shopping done early today! It is going to be a madhouse later!

4. DH being the sweetie he is. He asked me what I wanted for Christmas and I looked at him like "Are you serious?" he has done so much for me/us lately, I don't want or need anything more. That is waaaay more than I could ever want. Well, maybe a sewing machine!

5. For all my Jaded Lady friends who keep me coming back. I probably would have given up on ever losing weight had it not been for the support and friendship of you ladies-for that I am forever grateful.

TODAY I AM THANKFUL FOR

My wonderful thoughtful and helpful children
My home which is small and cozy
My Pets who are such good company
My being able to walk today ( don't drop a 75 lbs steel bar on your foot)
My extra large bottle of advil which provided me with back and foot relief
The energy to accomplish as much as I have been able to the past few weeks
Angie's Brandon getting better and going home ,and Tanner getting over the flu and Angie finally getting some peace of mind back if thats possible (hugs)
Mindee's, Tommy getting one step closer to employment and Christmas Yay!!!
Marti's memories and continuing traditions of her Grandma ,so sweet (hugs)
Cristi's enjoyment of listening to her Michael Bolten's Christmas Cd, and her nails that just keep growing and growing
Julie's happy puppy dogs and that she had a great birthday
Sue's growing suntan
The rest of my Jaded Ladies health and happiness

Today I Am Thankful For
Being Able To Appreciate All That I Have And Not Worry About The Things That I Don't For I Am Truly Blessed, With My Children, My Home, My Pets, My New Jaded Lady Friends. And My Ability To Create With Them A Warm And Happy Home,filled With Love Laughter And Memories What More Is There, For Me This Is Enough.

That This Week Is Over

Today I am Thankful For...

DH and the beautiful roses he bought me just because.

My children who may not get along with each other all the time but who love me and try for my sake.

My puppy dog who is freaked about all this decorating stuff.

Ellen's snookie still being with her/us.

Angie bought a new vehicle and her children are better and she was spoiled last night.

And for almost being done with decorating.

I am thankful for
1. Ellen and her loved ones
2. Comfy beds,,,,
3. Warm weather
4. Both boys are doing great
5. My new vehicle
6. My friends

Today:

1. Christmas music on the radio.....Makes my driving more cheery!

2. That I had a wonderful time this holiday weekend. Spent quality time w/Jhanai on Thanksgiving and had a great time w/James shopping.

3. My daughter who manages to find a way to make me laugh! She is my pride and joy!!

4. Having most of my shopping done for Jhanai....so now I can take her w/me to get things for other family members.

5. All you lovely ladies! I truly enjoy coming her and talking with you all! You've become such great friends!!

Today I Am Thankful For...

All the Jaded Ladies having a wonderful Thanksgiving and for being wonderful ladies.

The beautiful snow we are getting right now, even though I dread having to drive in it in the morning, it scares me.

All the holiday movies on the Hallmark channel. Nothing like getting in the Christmas spirit.

My caffeine free diet coke-I would be a wreck without it.

All the beautifully decorated houses everywhere. I so enjoy looking at all the houses all lit up-soooo purdy.

For today:

1. It's payday! (James) And now I can put back the money I spent over the weekend and then go shopping some more!! (just kidding...must pay the bills first!)

2. That James is getting five starts this week, which means he doesn't have to answer his phone over the weekend.

3. Giggles. I love to hear someone giggling...makes me smile. Someone at work had the giggles and we all just giggled with her!! Very contagious!

4. That I got home safely last night. It was rainy but not to bad, but there was standing water in lots of places on the freeway.

5. A warm house. Very thankful for living here.....I can't believe the house before this and how we managed!

Bonus: I'm thankful for Jane, Cristi, Angie, Ellen, Susan, Katy, Kathy, Sue, Shanna, Mindee, Julie, and Katie's friendship here on Jaded Ladies!!
