Hi all,

This computer is .... ... ... trying to think of a NICE word!! Just popped in quick...I already have Ricci's gift...so I'm still in. I will mail it next week I think so she will have it and can open when she wants. Are we all going to try to open the same day? Michelle...please let me know via email...cause I'm missing so much on this site . I haven't been here for days and I have a ton of other personal stuff to catch up on at work that I probably wont have a chance to pop in here. Arrrgh. Looks like we'll be taking this computer in as we haven't been able to get rid of the virus ourselves.

Gotta run before I get kicked out of here again!

Hello alll!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quick check in.

Crystal, why don't you put water in the bottle or very very diluted juice so that you can leave it with him and not have to get up and get him one. I do that with patrick, except he drinks so much I have to get up anyway and refill it.....Maybe I should leave 2 huh... Good luck

Deana, I'm not quitting the gym, just can't renew the personal training sessions for so much money. They gym I will still do, just have to do my best on my own. Thanks though.

Michelle, I know what you mean about getting the mcd's when desperate. Sometimes you just have to do what you have to do...lol. Tell me, how did you lose that 10lbs last week. Did you do a cleansing diet thing or something? LMK

Geri, hope you get that computer fixed soon.

Kristin, my friend has a semi open adoption. She adopted the girl from Arizona and writes and sends pics every month the first year and once a year till age 5 which will be this year. Maybe longer if the birth mother wants. They send info through the lawyer not direct. THey don' tknow each other's last names or anything, but my friend was at the hospital the day the little one was born and took her home the next day. Thanks for the info... I and my friend appreciate it. tty

Deana~ Thanks for answering my question on homeschooling. I greatly appreciated it. My daughter is bossy and very talkative at home too..LOL! It's just when she's out in public she acts like the cat's got her tongue..

Well I'm going to try to lay down..I'll try to stop in tomorrow.

Jeniqua- I'm sorry you are sick I hope you get to feeling better soon. Try some tea, it always makes me feel better when I have a cold.

Steph, good to see a post from you. Hope to see more from you soon

Kristin you must let me know when you get your warrior!! I can't wait I keep checking my email all day to see if I've gotten one yet I loved the email about making pancakes, it brought a smile to my face Thanks for that!!

Geri, sorry your puter is a pain in the butt I'll email you about the friendship swap

Penny, I'm so glad you got involved with the kidney foundation! Are you going to get a kidney warrior?

okay I suppose since everyone is having a hard time coordinating a time for the swap how bout everyone mail them out by the 3rd of december and you can open them when you get them if you like.

Hi all,
I'm tired, achy, and stuffed up. I've got a cold. Yuck! Sore throat, stuffy nose, plugged head, and now its going in my chest.

I did my weigh in this morning and am the same. Anybody have any suggestions for getting out of this stand-still I seem to be at? Its frustrating me. I wanted to be down below 200 before Thanksgiving.

I'd leave some personals, but just don't feel up to it. Just want to say to Michelle, I hope you're feeling better today. Take it easy and don't overdo...rest, rest, rest!

Goodevening Ladies! Sorry I've been MIA for a few days. I know you all thought I was in Niagara falls but we didn't go! I'm still sick for 1 w/a cold and laringitis. I've had it for a week now and Taylor my dd got sick Thursday. We had her tested for strep which came out negative on the quick strip so they had to send it out and then they drew blood because the dr. thought she had all they symptoms of mono. So we decided it really wouldn't have been a fun trip w/us being sick. I think we'll probly reschedule for Spring break. I was suppose to get her results back today. I called twice and nothing! Thought I'd get a call tonite from the dr. but didn't get that either. So I suppose I'll send her to school tomorrow. She did go w/no fever today (it was over 102 all from thurs-sun) and is much perkier. If she does come back positive for mono I'll have to go pick her up from school then. She's also on antibiotics for strep so she wouldn't be contageous now anyway. Ok, gotta go but thought I'd peek my head in for a moment!

Have a good nite!

Hi ladies!

Long time no hear from me, sorry, I plead guilty to being so over busy this weekend. Crazy I had to take some time to read all the posts, from this weekend but I think I'm caught up now.

Deana- HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! And WTG on your weight loss! 5lbs. Yeah! Gone for good! Hey- if you're an evil MOM, so am I. WTG my sister in evilness! (mad-evil chuckle). If they make you suffer and drive YOU crazy, I
think it's only fair to return the favor! (mad-evil chuckle erupting into sinister laughing).

Penny- So glad that you're getting things rolling for the kidney walk! Hope your committee meeting was productive today. You are a phenom-mom!
God bless your heart.

Jill- how's the paper coming? I'm glad you have such a supportive hubby! You lucky lady!

Chris- Are you going to post dd's Christmas dress when you're done? I'd love to see it! I always think it's so great when people make things themselves. In addition to that, rule of thumb. For everything. HOME MADE IS ALWAYS BETTER! There's love inside.

Kristin- I really admire the fact that you are so involved with your adoption cause. That is sooo awesome! Never enough good people out there. Btw- all that endless cleaning you are doing. Yeah...welcome to my world. Guess what, I think it starts to slow down right about the time we hit menopause. Okay maybe not then either.

Michelle- Pleurisy??!! Whoa!! I know it hurts! Btw- you used the word "spendy" in one of your posts!! That is sooo Minnesota! I didn't think that anyone outside of our state used that expression! COOL. I think that is so wonderful that you're an "Angel". If every person did 1 good thing like that the world wouldn't be such a messed up place. Thank you for being such a good mensch. My aunt is dying of colon cancer (now). Over the weekend she was admitted for uncontrollable bleeding. She's in very bad shape.
Please feel better and get well soon.

Crystal -totally normal to be not as on top of things as time and children go on. Especially with homeschooling! Not enough hours in the day kiddo. All those oral things are hard to give up, bahs, plugs, thumbs (my personal favorite) etc. Andrew is not a dumb little kid. He hears you talking baby and still is one himself. That's the worst time to get rid of a bad habit or potty training. I had one that started wetting again when I had a new baby.

Jeniqua- read you post to Crystal trying to catch up today. I've homeschooled for 14 years. Had to give it up 3 years ago when I was teaching 6 separate grades. Home schooling is fun and rewarding. However, it is also hard work. Don't let anyone tell you anything different. I'll have some home school stuff that I'm not using any more that I was going to put on ebay, but if your interested in it, I'll send it to you if you help me with the shipping. I'll make an inventory, I simply can't hang onto things forever. Let me know. I bet you will do great, you seem like a high energy person, bonus you're still young. BTW children with special needs receive more money from the school system, per child, THAT IS the reason they label. Period. One of my children has had a reading disorder that could have put him in special ed.
He's the one that's in prep-high school now. Only took six different phonics programs, Yeah, that was spendy! He reads Shakepeare and Latin and loves it. He's doing great now. Hope you feel better.

Well, gals, sorry for the book! See what happens when you miss a couple days? Yipes! I still OP, and only 2 lbs. to go before I have my first 10 down.
Sorry to all moms I didn't talk to this time.

TTYL

Sherry, I hope your DD gets to feeling better Remember no news is good news Hang in there!

Roxy, tonight your aunt is in my prayers. I'm also lighting a candle for her! I strongly believe in the power of prayer, whether it be that god take her in his arms so she isn't hurting any longer or that he perform a miracle for her. Hang in there! I'm thinking of you

Michelle,
opps hit the post button...thank you, thank you. She is already
"on her way" after 30 some odd years she went back to church, made peace with her cousin (they talk now everyday after not talking for 25 years!)and having an absolute phobic fear of death is preparing herself and is mentally at peace. She's making the very most of the time she has left. Saturday she did say, "I think this is it". Thanks so much for the prayers, prayer moves mountains.

Hey everyone just taking a break from cleaning and wanted to pop in and say hi. Yes I know what time it is! LOL It was my dad's birthday tonight and we all had dinner and then ate dessert and watched Shrek 2 over at my mom and dad's but before all that I got a call from the bank and they want to come appraise the house tomorrow at 2:30. Needless to say I got to cleaning as soon as we got home. I think I am going to just do the living room and office tonight and try to do the rest and finish my OTHER paper tomorrow. I'll just be glad to get the paper signed. Hopefully it appraises for what we need it to in order to get our loan. If not I'll be bummed. Anyway wanted to say hi and to let you know I am not OP today but will be tomorrow. It's so hard with birthdays and such. So hope you all had good days and hopefully I can get here tomorrow! TTYL
