No, I didn't have anything to drink last night. I was too busy shoving food into my mouth while stressing over a storm that would not affect my area .

Leigh... can I tell you how sick to my stomach I felt last night? I can only imagine how you were feeling! Even had a very bad dream that I won't go into detail about . The first thing I did was turn on the tv this morning in hopes of seeing your Dh and said THANK GOD the minute he came on. I just had this horrible feeling last night and was so happy that it was for naught! Hope the weather in Atlanta doesn't get too bad. I see you're in the tornado watch area. OK, I still haven't got off the computer, lol.I did make me some breakfast and I brought it in here to eat and have been here since then. But I have been writing out my menu for this next week and my grocery list, so it was productive, lol.
QOTD--- I think a bird too... I remember praying to God as a little girl that I would turn into a bird and be able to fly away from my family. Sad I know, But I prayed for that often. My parents fought all the time (physically fought) and us kids were always in the crossfire. My brother got hit in the head once by a glass ketchup bottle because my parents were throwing things at each other. So a bird is what I wanted to be, lol. Sorry to go on and on.

Kristin, I don't think planned parenting does blood tests but most regular walk in clinics will... just call around. I never thought to look on ebay for perfume! What a great idea! I am in love with estee lauders Beautiful, I keep all the magazine pages it is on, lol... I just can't afford it yet. But I may go see what I can find it for on there.

Leigh, so glad your dh was just fine. Looks like alot of newcasters were in Mobile, I saw a few from the morning shows there today... was your dh with any of them? And it's normal what these pills are doing to me right now, I know it will work itself out.

Penny, yes Bubba thought he was something in that suit, lol... and he looked adorable in it. I should take them down for pictures soon before he outgrows it. And you are NOT huge girl!! I think you are very pretty and you definitely don't look what you weigh, you must carry it well. But when you get to goal you will look fantastic!! How are those pills working for you?

Spryng - I'm on WW too, the Core program. I absolutely love it - I'm a fan of whole foods/good carb eating, and this will work for me (as long as I stick to it, of course!). I joined a week ago today, but won't be going to WI tonight for the rain/winds thanks to Ivan. Precooking meals, washing up all of our clothes, getting candles and radios ready for tonight if the power goes out. The rain is already hard at times, wind blowing, but they're saying we'll get the worst this afternoon. Fun fun fun.

Crystal - we're supposed to play school catch-up too. But I can't seem to get anyone away from the Weather Channel and Ivan (or myself off the computer, for that matter)! If I can get them to do math, LA, and Bible, I may just call it a day and have them update me on Ivan.

Michelle - beautiful Montana! Dh and I have plans to go there "someday" - whenever we get the kids out of the house lol. Great deal on the pc!

Penny - what part of LA are you in? My mom's from New Orleans, and her sister is on the MS Gulf Coast, so we've been in close contact with the family. My cousin lives in the French Quarter, so she and the kids went to stay in Hattiesburg while her husband stayed to guard the store. Before my mother starts dialysis, we were hoping to make trips to both LA and FL, but with the very active hurricane season so far I don't see it happening.

Cindi - I'm west of Atlanta in the Paulding/Carroll/Haralson tri-county area, 30 minutes from Alabama. Neat!

We got reading done while the others watched Scooby Doo 2. I feel so refreshed with that done. Now I can nap after lunch and that makes me almost the happiest mama ever. Ridiculous I know. Hadn't talked to dh today, he's working at his grandparents, roofing they're new carport, that I'm sure, will put him in a bad mood on top of his already bad mood.
Btw, Alisa's reading is going so well. I am so happy with her and one on one is what it takes, but that's okay with me. Whatever works.

Hello to Kristin, I can't wait for you to go to the doc. Now you're gonna have to have a blood test to know for sure, right? How long will it take for the results. I am not a patient person when it comes to things like this. And then my sono is Tuesday, we're all gonna have a busy and fun week next week.

Well ladies I just want to say something real quick before I head off to the gym. I just felt like I needed to say it.

I have one daughter and although I know it might not be as much stress as some of you with more kids it's still a child who wants and needs you all day and who can wear on your nerves when days are not perfect. I have just as much of a right to go out and have some ME time as anyone else does and I don't think it's right for others to make me feel guilty. I am not mad and don't mean this to be rude but i just feel like my job is hard too and I deserve to feel that's it's OK for me to go out by myself every once in awhile. With that said I hope everyone has a great day and those that need ME time will get it. I'll be back later to get personal and to let you know how much water I have drank. None yet so far and I am already behind because of being on the west coast. Don't worry I will catch up!

Jill, please please please don't think I don't agree with you. We ALL need ME time, heck even people with no kids need time away from every day life. EVERY body needs that time for prayer and meditation. I really NEEDED it yesterday, some days I just want it others I NEED it and that was yesterday and I didn't get it. Believe me when I say being a mom is hard, hard, hard and you're a mom to one or to fifteen.
I always think of those times when Spryng feels like getting out and because she doesn't have dh home with her each night she can't. I just can't imagine not being able to at some point. Yes, you and me and all of us and everyone deserve that ME time.

I am happy just to get a grocery trip by myself , taking the kids with me always blows my mind and my budget, LOL...I don't get much "me" time with 7 kids, but I don't really need it. Why do you think I had so many kids, because of my love for them and I feel incomplete if much time goes by without at least one of them around to bug me! LOL!! I am not normal and we all know that, so don't think I am directing my comment to anyone, just giving my perspective because it's a little different!! Gotta mix it up a little! But even having one, is a job, especially when it's a baby under the age of two and they need so much from Mom still. Being a Mom is the hardest, yet most rewarding job there is, no matter how many kids you have! We are nurturing our future little grown ups, what a responsibility that is!! So if we need some down time to be a better parent, then we should take it and never feel guilty about it!!

I decided against the trip to the store, I got Christian to drink milk out of a medicine dropper and he is actually eating a few ramen noodles at the moment!! So we will see how it goes! I am freezing some of the gatorade to make a slushy with too.

Think I might try one of my Boca burgers for lunch...
