Leigh...not normal for me to get so much done in one day! I usually exercise and then Tony's all over me for attention. Today he played well with Will!

I forgot to answer the QOTD...since we'll both be almost 60 when our boys are older YIKES...we'll move to FL (hopefully the boys will come along!). That's what Dh wants to do too. The idea of Grandchildren makes me want to stay here and just do FL in the winter like all the other old folks! LOL.

Have a great afternoon!

Smile Winter travelers/Geri

Geri I got tickled when I read your post about going to FL only in the winter like the other old folks. LOL See we live in one of the main locales of winter Texans. They start showing up in October and stay through April. Its fun to see them come...and GO.

Spryng: Not very far is it. Was just kidding about the 50 lbs. Would love to meet you sometime in the near future.
Today is day 3 I guess. Really started watching what I was eating on Saturday.....figured dh's birthday would be an easy day to remember when I started diet.

Leigh: Don't know how I could mess up a metabolism I didn't seem to have....lol. Really, I've been eating 3 meals and 3 snacks a day when I'm used to just eating 2 meals a day so hopefully that will boost it. Will try it for a couple weeks and see how goes. If it's not working I'll change it.

Went to walk for first time today but have been doing alot around the house past couple of days (more than usual....just ask dh ). I have a stop watch on my sport watch so I timed myself and think I kept a pretty good pace.....I know my ankles were burning when I got done. Walked 1/2 mile in 9.5 minutes. Gonna try to keep that pace or better for a week or so then increase distance. Geez I haven't had my tennies on since it warmed up, sandals only in summer for me.

I also forgot QOTD: I know dh would love to move to Montana, feels like that's where he belongs (the cowboy thing and all). Me, I would be happy just having more time to spend with dh and not get interrupted just hate when someone knocks on the door at inappropriate times.

Think I found a way to help me get my water in.....bought some lemons and limes and a gallon of purified water, then got a 20 oz bottle with sport cap at the convenience store. Juiced one lemon and one lime, added some splenda and it tastes great.....and the kids don't like it so I don't have to share. Even bought the boys each a candy bar while in the store and I didn't even want one....YEAH !!!

Forgot to go to Walmart to see about a good scale, will do that after dh leave for work.

Well time to get dh up so he can get ready to go to work tonight again (he's been working alot of OT the past couple weeks, had only had 3 days off in last 2 weeks)

Will check back later. Have a good evening

Good evening chicas Boy I'm really keeping up with the thread today.

Cheri- in Florida we call them snow birds - do ya'll have a name for them in TX? I know Arizona is a big retirement state, but didn't realize Texas is too.

Deana- well, like I said, you know yourself better than anyone else, so you probably have the calorie thing right Great job with all the activity today!

I wonder when DH will finally be home I miss him. I don't mind shorter trips, but he's been gone almost a week. Although the bathroom stays a whole lot cleaner!

Ohhh- it's a good TV night on A&E - Watching Fatal Fathers - documentary about fathers who kill their pregnant wives/girlfriends (you know how pregnant women are more likely to be murdered by a partner). Then Family Plots (love that show!) and later Airline (love that one too!). LOL . . . my evening is set! Any of you want to come on over?

Hi girls

Leigh I will bring the peanut M&M's and buttered popped corn!! Yum, doesn't that sound so good? I am having such bad cravings tonight and I do not know why, I had two bean and cheese enchiladas for supper?.? It sounds like we like the same kind of tv .

Spyrng, hope you had a nice dinner with dh. Drive safe and have fun.

Everyone sounds like they are in such a cleaning mode. I am having a hard time trying to maintain the toys being picked up! But last weekend I got all my dusting and vaccuming done and toliets and sinks. It helps when hus takes the kiddos and I can just do it quickly. Well everyone have a great night. Time to start getting ready for bed. Julie

Ok I'm back for the night but don't hate me cause I am not going to get personal with everyone. I will just address those things that I can remember! LOL I had to read 3 pages!! Well you know I am usually a good poster and always try to include everyone but this week I'm not going to be able to.

So I really like my class. It's Women and Relationships so it is really interesting and we do a lot of fun activities. It's only 6 days long because this is still summer term in Oregon and we do "summer sessions" and they range from 6 days to 8 weeks and you still get as many credits as you would if you were going for 12 weeks (like a normal term is). So it's a good opportunity to get some extra credits withough devoted 12 weeks to it! The class load is a lot easier too so that is nice. I do have quite a bit of reading to do tonight though so I probably won't be on too much but i missed you guys today!! I just knew you were posting away!!

I got my flylady control journal, binder and calendar so I am way excited to get started on those! Not that I have a lot of time! I would like to say though that because of flylady I was totally prepared for this week and my house is still clean tonight and will be all week! I'm sure of it! I really needed flylady to get my butt in gear because I think it will help me a lot when I start school again and when I start the masters program next year.

So you ladies seem like you are on a roll with cleaning and such. Good for you!!! I hope the flylady challenge went good. Sounds like it did. Well I need to go fix me some dinner. I will try and be back later to post but if not, know that I will be at least reading what you guys are up to, just may not be able to post! Have a great night everyone!!!

Well I finally made it to Walmart for a digital scale.....they didn't have the Denise Austin one like on their website but I got a digital by Health-O-Meter.....with an extra large display for added humiliation..... lol

Boys are in bed, supposed to be going to sleep, keep goofing off.

Had a good OP day.....limited myself to 1500 cals and only went over by 40......YEAH !!! Now that I have a scale I can weigh tomorrow to see where I really am, then hopefully change my signature.....

Hope everyone had a good evening.....going to head to bed soon myself, waiting for dh to call on his break, then pillow time.

See you all in the a.m.

So tell me...why was I doing so good in the weight loss dept and now I can't do good for a day???? Why was I so strong and now so weak? I just don't get it? I don't even feel worthy of posting with all of you considering I just ate to the point of misery two nights in a row. I also ate a bag of cremesavers today.WHY??????

Be back shortly, Christian is crying and I think I want to join him
