Hello, lovely ladies!
Things are going great here -- I've lost 2 pounds since Monday (3 if I believe 5 out of 6 readings on the scale -- I decided to err on the side of conservatism, for once in my life!

And I'm working out every morning before work -- HIIT cardio and I'm loving it! I don't yet love the getting out of bed part, but by the time I've woken our little dog up and pulled him out from under the covers in our bed, made it down 2 flights of stairs, let him out to do his morning stuff, and settled onto the seat of the exercise bike with CNN on before me.......life is good! I'm riding for 20 minutes, about 5 1/2 miles, and over 400 calories.... pretty good for a start to the day! I invite you to visit my blog for more on my upcoming exercise routine, as I go into considerable detail. Oh ****, I'll just repeat it here:
*
M-F: HIIT biking; 20 min.; first thing in A.M.; on an empty stomach
*
T, SA: Weights; 40-50 min.; protein and simple carb immediately afterwards
*
W, SU: Steady rate cardio; treadmill and/or exercise bike; 40-60 min.
I've reduced my daily calories somewhat, but I'll play that by ear going forward. I think I'll still do a few lower cal days, but I'm going to make sure that I'm getting plenty of protein and complex carbs on my weight training days especially.....with protein isolate and simple carbs right after the weights.
I'm really focused on increasing my rate of loss a bit -- again, lots about that on my blog, but I just think I can do a bit better than I have been -- and the biggest factor in that will be the increased exercise.
How are you guys doing?? Lynne, I look forward to hearing more about how you're exercise is going! Good job on the pedometer -- how many steps are you getting in now? I have to say that I agree with Gen about the nice sister in law who gives you off plan stuff......and while I will mourn the end of summer a bit myself, it does sound like it will be somewhat easier for you to establish those healthy behaviors and turn them into habits without as many guests trying to show their appreciation in ways that don't help you.
Candra -- glad to hear you worked out even when you were tired!

And congratulations again on those 6 pounds!
Gen -- I just want to say that I am SO, SO, SO enjoying your presence at 100 lb....it is so AWESOME to have you joining in there!!! I love you, man!!! And I'm so impressed with your exercise life, you just don't even know. You are completely inspiring to me.
Summer -- I hope everything's going ok with your Florida work stuff. I miss you! As for printing in Diet Power, I truly do not know. I would strongly recommend that you go to the dietpower website's forum and see if someone has already answered that question in their technical or support forums. If not, pose the question yourself, and I'd trust that you'll get some response soon....I've noted that lots of people who use the software help one another with questions and technical support, not just the DP employees. Chances are, someone else has asked that question, though. Good luck, and keep us posted, dearie!
Gretchen -- I'm not sure if you'll read this or not....I get your updates at 100 lb, but not everyone here does.....

You should come here and share the love, girlfriend! Spread the joy, know what I mean?
