Sherry, thank you for removing my chickie, I want to start over fresh. I hope your spirits pick up...I miss the old Sherry.

Dee, how are you? I miss reading your messages.

Vickster, hope your feeling better! Have fun with the red hats!

Shelley, are you over the shock of of having me visit on the exercise board???? :-)

Ramona, I am so happy for Dan! You will make a FANTASTIC mother inlaw!!!

Tina, I hope things are better!!

Carol, I am a big brother 5 fan!!! We have watched every season, so far I'm for Drew. It should be interesting with both twins in the house.

Doni, I like surviver, other then way too many gross eating challenges!

I am staying OP, down a few pounds, doing it by making healthy choices and watching my calories.

Tina-I am sending prayers your way for your brother and puppy dog. I know how hard it is to lose a beloved pet. My bird of 35 years died last year.
Hope you and your hubby have a great anniversary.

Gayle-Good for you, staying OP and losing some.

Doni-I didn't realize that you homeschool. My neighbor has 6 kids and she homeschools all of them.

I'm sorry Tina, I guess we posted at the same time and my message ended up on page two. I didn't see your last message on page one until Shelly mentioned it.
I am saying prayers for your dear doggie, hoping he will not suffer. A loss of a pet can be just like a loss of a dear friend or relative.
I hope your brother's surgery goes well today. He is pretty young to be having knee surgery, is it from an injury?

Doni, nice to see another message from you!

Shelley, what species of parrot was Brutus?

Doni, we live just outside the city and we are starting to have all kinds of strange characters move close by too. Anymore, I think no matter where you live, that stuff goes on.

Shelley, Bosco my parrotlet is the closest related to the amazon species. He isn't talking yet but he is starting to mimic noises and sounds. He has learned to laugh!
I kid you not! Someone in the house laughs close by his cage and you can hear the same noise come from him. He is fully grown and only about 4-5" long, larger then a finch but smaller then a canary.

I'm starting an on-line class today on healthy eating and finding the inner motivvation to achieve weightloss goals.

Hello

I wanted to let everyone know that I'm doing much better & in better spirits. In a way, I'm looking forward to going back to school Monday. I think I need a routine again! Also, football season is right around the corner and I'll be busy working there too. This Saturday we have a scrimmage game to work. Check-in time is 7:00 am!

I hope everyone is doing ok and staying OP!! I've been about 75% this week but once Monday comes...It's back 100%!!!!!

Have a nice evening.

Love & Hugs.....

Hi Girls

I just wanted to pop in and let everyone know I'm still here. I'm hoping soon that my life will get back to normal. Tomorrow is my first day of inservice. Talk about normal!!
Sorry I haven't been around much this summer. I promise to do better about posting.
I took Mom yesterday for them to draw blood and for her out-patient rehab. She is doing so good, it has amazed all of us. They called her this morning with a good report, her blood test turned out perfect. First time in many months.
I'm still doing about 50% to 75% staying OP. I have gained a couple of pounds but hope to get that back off quickly.
Hope everyone is well and happy. I will try to post personally to everyone tomorrow night.
Love ya...deb

Sherry-Thank you for posting an August exercise thread. I didn't want to step on any toes by starting one. I am glad that you are feeling better. You're right about the routine. UGH!! All the assistants come back today, and it has been so hectic. The open house is Saturday, and there is still tons to do, not to mention the welcome back luncheon today. It seems as though it will take forever to get everything done.

Debbie-Good to hear from you. Hope your inservice goes well! Glad your mom is doing well.

Doni-I'm glad your mom is doing well also.

Gayle-I believe you! I know how a parrot can pickup just about any sound and mimic it.

Gotta go! Love to all!

Ladies...

I just received a letter from Dee. Her computer broke down and she was on her Son's. He doesn't like her to be on it too long so that's why she hasn't posted. She's waiting to get a new one.

Her surgery is going to be on August 30th. She's in a lot of pain. Her Doctor has increased her morphine. She gives her love to all & misses you.

Shelley.....Tell Patty congrats!!!!!! I know you're so happy too!! WTG!!!

BTW: I got a phone call night before last and Metro wants me to go to another school (VERY close to me) for 3 days and my school 2 days every week. They have a new sec. that needs help. My Principal is having a fit! She has even written the board. I didn't hear from her today so I don't know what's going on.
