Hi again. Well, since DH is out of town, I had an early dinner - turkey-salami on lowfat bread, and fat-free pringles. I have about 6 points left, but I'm sure I'll end up using 'em :)

Been getting into trouble on ebay again. I haven't bid on anything, but boy am I itching to! I have to think about it though. I love ebay, but it's soooo addictive!

OMG! I looked to see when I last visited here & it was May 26th! With a "tween" & a "teen' in the house all summer long, not much time for Mom to go online! I just have a few minutes, so I thought that I'd say "Hi!". I think of you all often and wish you the best on the weight loss journey. I plan on joining you all once school starts again. Jaymi, your awesome with your workouts! I only have one child and I find it hard to get any exercise in besides chasing her around the house. You are very committed :)

Spryng, you are down to 126?! I haven't weighed that since junior high! How did you do it, all WW and exercise? Do you think it works for everyone?

Penny, exciting about the teaching. That will be so fun for you. I love decorating classrooms. I used to have one at my old job and that was just as fun as teaching (don't tell anyone I said that) lol. Is it volunteer based or do you get paid, if you don't mind me asking. Sorry I'm nosy. And I do love this group. It is so fun here, I can hardly wait to check and see what people have wrote and to comment. It's a blast! Thanks for having me!

Jill I'm in Montana so its only an hours difference between us :) I just have kids that like to get up early.

Ok I need to get my butt moving we're having a last minute suprise bday party for my sister and I have made the cake and frosted it but we still need to go get ice cream and stuff and junk lol man I wish the people in my family would learn how to plan a function rather than spring it on us last minute!!

In Savannah we got Liam this really cute puppet book - it has a mouth that moves on each page. It's so cute because he keeps trying to figure out how the book works and is carefully studying each page :)

The schedule was doing good until,my throat started hurting,then I took a fever now I feel like i've been run over and I should know what that feels like.I really did get hit by a car in 2nd grade.Anyhow i'm going to try just a to do list instead of a timed schedule because I just get to grumpy when things don't go as planned. :mad: I should be used to it by now.Nothing goes as planned with 4 kids running around wanting everything just for them.Ya'll know how it is.

I wasn't sure if your name was pronounced Laya or Lee...I know of someone who spells it like you and pronounces it laya. I guess some people think the gh is an a sound...WHo knows at least no one calls you Leege or league...LOL

Let's see...did my 3 mile walk this morning while breaking up multiple fights over the same toys...we have enough for like 10 kids and they have to have the same ones?????????? :devil: :devil: :p Got my haircut...boy do I need to color it now! :o ...Will and I went in the pool while Tony napped...walked with Tony in stroller while Will rode his bike and then went on a 12.5 mile bikeride with my gf tonight...so it was a nice active day. I probably won't want to get out of bed tomorrow so I'm going to sleep as soon as I'm done here :lol: . HOpefully that all made up for the fried rice with gravy that I had for dinner tonight! :lol:

Well I just got my baby to bed by 8:00! Yeah for me! She's been teething so it's been hard lately to get her to bed at a decent hour. I also managed to watch Along Came Polly with my DH and get some cleaning done too! I actually feel like I got something done today so I feel pretty good. Angel - sorry to hear about the sore throat, I hate getting sick. Don't worry about the schedule thing. I have been trying to do something like that too and it is really tough to get into a schedule. As long as the list of stuff gets done I wouldn't put a time on it, i will just frusterate you in the end! I always say that Chaos IS a routine! lol !!!

Well, I am trying to get myself and Eric on a school schedule. So far so good. And I have been doing really well with WW. Maybe I will see a loss this week.
Qotd: I am TERRIFIED of flying. Always have been. I have never been on a plane. When people I know are flying, it freaks me out. My mom is going to Hawaii this weekend, and until I know she has landed safely, I will be going nuts.

Leigh - no big plans today. Have hte neighbor kids for 2 more days. We went to the park the first day and the zoo yeterday..I'm pooped, its all rainy here today so far so I think we are just going to stay home, play outside kind of thing. I don;t have the energy to go anywhere!

I have seemed to get a lot of exercise, but I am not eatting right at all. :stress: I can't seem to get myself on track lately. ggrrr...snack snack snack, thats all I do! Well the kids are arriving soon, so I better get off here!
QOTD: I am not sure what my fears are, the only thing that I can think of is that I will lose someone else in my family to a tragic accident. We have lost so many lately, and I always find myself thinking about what I would do if I lost my huby, daughter or someone else close to me. NOt a lot lately though, try to curb those thoughts right away, so I don't get upset! :)

Morning Ladies. Bugga Bug had another crazy night. Man between the TOM and NO SLEEP, I am liable to be quite *itchy. SO far, I'm holding my own. I wish I could get a cup of coffee, but I don't drink/like it at all. :coffee:

Geri and Leigh: Penny and I decided to do a challenge. It goes like this. For the next 10 weeks, we have to lose at least a 1/2 lb per week. If each week we don't, we have to send the other one $1.00. The dollars get saved. At the end the dollars get used to buy something new...up to $10.00. Of course, I'm hoping Penny won't have any dollars from me and I'm sure she's hoping the same. AT the end of 10 weeks, if we are down 10lbs. We get a bonus. Each of us picks out a nail polish and sends it to the other. I thnk the official weigh in would have to start next wednesday or friday. We need a starting point.

Penny, LMK what day is good for you. How was your religoin class meeting yesterday? We belong to the catholic church here too. They do have a Sunday school for the little kids. 3-5yo. I have to look into it this year for Abigail. Our church is large, I don't know about yours. I also have trouble taking Patrick, so my Dh normally walks there with DD. It's become special time for them. Only problem is I don' t get to go as often as I would like. Bugs just screams the WHOLE time. It's very stressful for me ..and him I guess.

OH yes, the QOTD....I'm affraid of two things: I hate Escalators. I get goose bumps and the hair stands up on my arms. Fell down a flight when I was four. My other fear is losing my husband.. Since 9/11 I have terrible terrible fears everytime he gets on a plane. I feel sick until I hear from him.

Morning all. Sorry I didn't post anymore last night. Dh took us out to eat Chinese and when we got back storms hit and hit hard all night. Still suppose to have them alot of today too.
I'm trying to get breakfast done and Andrew isn't feeling well. Must be something the storms brought in. Stuffy, runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing, coughing, etc. I'm gonna just baby him all day and crochet.

First off QOTD: I'm terrified of death, of not knowing for sure if I'll ever get to see my loved ones again of not making sure all our time together is special. We make sure we tell each other that we love eachother several times a day. I'm also afraid of flying now that 9/11 came.

School starts next week, so it's busy here for me. I have been shopping for school supplies and taking care of appointments while I have the built in babysitters! :D

Glad to see everyone doing well, with exercising and stuff. I am really not and kinda expect a gain this week, but I am just on the run alot and have not prepared properly for it. I really need to get on track again soon!! Maybe when we settle into that school routine it will be easier! I am hoping!!!

I have to go get kids ready to meet their teachers today, I know it's early, but it will probably take me that long!!!

Hi everyone. First thing I want to say is LOL to Penny about Unsolved Mysteries. My family used to watch that show all the time when my sister and I were kids and we would leave the room when the theme song came on at the beginning and the end of the show. It freaked us out too! However I liked the middle of the program, still do. Did you know that it's on again and they are showing new ones? Just thought I would tell you so that you can avoid it! LOL!

My biggest fear, besides death and losing loved ones, is spiders. I HATE them! It's really bad now though cause I am a mom and I'm supposed to set a good example and I still can't help running from a room when I spot one!

Penny, Kristin and Michelle it was so fun talking with you last night. Hopefully we can do it again soon! I definatley have to take your advice about DH. That way he will leave me alone and I can chat longer :)

I looked through the photos on the hotmail chat site and got to see some of you girls. What beautiful kids and families! And yourselves as well! I especially liked the picture of Sydney on the potty with her guitar! I made my husband come in and look cause I was laughing so hard! I'm going to try and post some pictures soon so that you guys can see what I look like too.

Leigh, have fun running errands today. I did that yesterday. I enjoyed it though cause there was a lot I needed to do and I felt like I had accomplished something for the day (unlike most days).

I am off to the school supply store to get some ideas on things I need for my classroom. I am repainting it, decorating and everything. I have to start from stratch. They used to have the pre k and k in the same class and they have decided to separate them this year. This is where I came in b/c they needed another teacher. So K has no supplies whatsoever.

Ps Don't remember who asked but no I don't get paid for this but the neighboring church that we sometimes go to.... their teachers do get paid there. I am just happy right now to get my foot in the teaching door and see exactly how much I like it!

I think I will know after this if teaching is something I am serious that passionate about. I am right now but you never know until you do it.

Hi all, just checking in again. I haven't sat down to crochet yet, but I'm fixing to. I've been Ebaying.
I thought about my fears/phobias. I don't really have any. I hate spiders and snakes, I mean really hate them. But my christian faith keeps me from having them. There's no point really or at least that's how I see it. I guess losing one of my kids, to an accident, sickness or something, that scares me, but yet there's the faith again and I know that everything happens for a reason and you're really not suppose to be scared of those things. So that's my answer.
BTW, Crystal, just look it up in the dictionary, that's how you pronounce it, LOL!!!

I too have been ebaying, and am getting ready to go crochet some more. I am making an afghan, not sure what to do with it yet. I can't read crochet patterns, so my mom teaches me how to do them. I am a more of learning by seeing person.
School starts here on August 18th, and my school starts August 30th. It'll be interesting to see how dh deals without me here, no adults to have a conversation with.LOL.

Religion is one subject I never get on so I'm not....... lol

I'm an e-bay junkie too! I used to sell stuff and still do occasionally. Well I am a bum and did not go the gym. Had to pay bills. Jill, you had asked about storms here in Texas. The summers are usually pretty boring and just hot and dry. But this spring and summer have been different. It rained like 18 days in the month of June and yesterday was the first day it had rained in July. And when it rained it poured, 12" in some places over night. But you know how it is, I would love to experience an Oregan winter. We had a WONDERFUL powdery snow last year for the first time in a long long long time. Usually the weinters are only ice if any thing.
I'm finishing up some lunch. Still haven't had time to crochet, every time I sit down Andrew wants me to hold him and with him not feeling well I can't say no. I may give it a try again shortly.

Well, browsing on ebay got me in a shopping mood, so Liam and I went to my favorite babies/childrens consignment store. It's in a wealthy neighborhood, so I find amazing prices on foo-foo labels :)

As for the diet, I'm still OP today, though haven't worked out yet. It's harder when DH is out of town . . . Spryng must know what I mean! :lol:

Ricci- glad your head is better. We have the same phobia! Actually it looks like several of us do.

Kristin- hola! Well, exercise is great too! Not to be downplayed at all . . . the eating will come very soon, I'm sure.

Penny- Dh doesn't return until tomorrow. Book club is next Wednesday and I can't wait - even though I've only read part of the book. However, I've discovered it's not at all like grad school: it's perfectly fine if you show up having done only part of the reading :lol: Andrew and Liam should get together. Liam is perpetually fascinated with Duncan's toys.

Well I'm back from the dentist and it wasn't quite as bad as I had thought. I went a couple months ago and they couldn't get me numb and my jaw hurt from keeping my mouth open so long. P.S. My daughter is 10 months old and has started grinding her top and bottom front teeth together. Any suggestions on how to stop it. I forgot to ask the dentist. Any comments would be appreciated! Thanks!~
