I am off to the school supply store to get some ideas on things I need for my classroom. I am repainting it, decorating and everything. I have to start from stratch. They used to have the pre k and k in the same class and they have decided to separate them this year. This is where I came in b/c they needed another teacher. So K has no supplies whatsoever.

Ps Don't remember who asked but no I don't get paid for this but the neighboring church that we sometimes go to.... their teachers do get paid there. I am just happy right now to get my foot in the teaching door and see exactly how much I like it!

I think I will know after this if teaching is something I am serious that passionate about. I am right now but you never know until you do it.

Besides having three kids, trying to go back to college, hubby owns his own bus so I do all the bookwork and run the errands for him and now Rubie (the puppy) and then the religion classes... oh did I mention Karate...... lol

Hi all, just checking in again. I haven't sat down to crochet yet, but I'm fixing to. I've been Ebaying.
I thought about my fears/phobias. I don't really have any. I hate spiders and snakes, I mean really hate them. But my christian faith keeps me from having them. There's no point really or at least that's how I see it. I guess losing one of my kids, to an accident, sickness or something, that scares me, but yet there's the faith again and I know that everything happens for a reason and you're really not suppose to be scared of those things. So that's my answer.
BTW, Crystal, just look it up in the dictionary, that's how you pronounce it, LOL!!!

I too have been ebaying, and am getting ready to go crochet some more. I am making an afghan, not sure what to do with it yet. I can't read crochet patterns, so my mom teaches me how to do them. I am a more of learning by seeing person.
School starts here on August 18th, and my school starts August 30th. It'll be interesting to see how dh deals without me here, no adults to have a conversation with.LOL.

Religion is one subject I never get on so I'm not....... lol

I'm an e-bay junkie too! I used to sell stuff and still do occasionally. Well I am a bum and did not go the gym. Had to pay bills. Think I will take a long walk with my friend tonight and make up for it. I am stressing about the dentist now and a lost bill I cant seem to find. Talk to you girls later!

Jill, you had asked about storms here in Texas. The summers are usually pretty boring and just hot and dry. But this spring and summer have been different. It rained like 18 days in the month of June and yesterday was the first day it had rained in July. And when it rained it poured, 12" in some places over night. But you know how it is, I would love to experience an Oregan winter. We had a WONDERFUL powdery snow last year for the first time in a long long long time. Usually the weinters are only ice if any thing.
I'm finishing up some lunch. Still haven't had time to crochet, every time I sit down Andrew wants me to hold him and with him not feeling well I can't say no. I may give it a try again shortly.

Well, browsing on ebay got me in a shopping mood, so Liam and I went to my favorite babies/childrens consignment store. It's in a wealthy neighborhood, so I find amazing prices on foo-foo labels :)

As for the diet, I'm still OP today, though haven't worked out yet. It's harder when DH is out of town . . . Spryng must know what I mean! :lol:

Ricci- glad your head is better. We have the same phobia! Actually it looks like several of us do.

Kristin- hola! Well, exercise is great too! Not to be downplayed at all . . . the eating will come very soon, I'm sure.

Melissa- that's a good challenge! WTG on the workout.

Crystal- hope Andrew recovers soon. Maybe it will turn out to be allergies.

Penny- Dh doesn't return until tomorrow. Book club is next Wednesday and I can't wait - even though I've only read part of the book. However, I've discovered it's not at all like grad school: it's perfectly fine if you show up having done only part of the reading :lol: Andrew and Liam should get together. Liam is perpetually fascinated with Duncan's toys.

Well I'm back from the dentist and it wasn't quite as bad as I had thought. I went a couple months ago and they couldn't get me numb and my jaw hurt from keeping my mouth open so long. Anyway it wasn't nearly that bad so I am home now with more time than I thought I had so I thought I would get on and say hi. Hope everyone's day is going great! Talk to you soon!

P.S. My daughter is 10 months old and has started grinding her top and bottom front teeth together. Any suggestions on how to stop it. I forgot to ask the dentist. Any comments would be appreciated! Thanks!~

Hello Everyone! Today I have sooo much to do.. and of course it is supposed to rain! But it is ALWAYS supposed to rain. I went to the store last night ot satisfy my chocolate craving.... which I shouldnt have... and when I got all the way out of the apartment complex.. it started pouring. By then DH had asked me to pick him up some stuff, and I didn't feel like trying to get back in... so I ended up getting all soaked. I had on fuzzy slippers.... which were and still are soaked! It was sunny about 10 minutes earlier. I noticed it was darker outside.. but duh it was late! I tell ya! Well today is one of my hardest days! I have to go to the Dollar Store and Walmart. They are hardest for me.. because I CAN NOT resist clearances.... and stuff for a dollar. And as you all know... dollars add up. If that could be an illness... I have it! Ebay is another one.. and Amazon.com. I just found a whole bunch of Murder She Wrote books for just A PENNY!! Now how can I resist that! A PENNY!!!

I have been up since 5:30, and I didn‘t exercise until after 8:30. It took me forever to get it done because the baby woke up.. But that was MY fault. I woke up sick to my stomach anyways. I'm still gonna exercise some more.. I gotta make up for those donuts I ate last night! .... I don't care if I get sick or not.. I took a midol!!!!.. That will have me bouncing off the walls!!!! Those things should be illegal!! :lol: This coffee and that Midol might have me running in circles! But that's kool because I feel one of my migraines coming on. I HATE TOM!!OH well Why is it that denise Austin always works the opposite body part than I want to do! Oh well, that's why I have other shows I taped! I think I"m gonna set up my daughters's bed today. Her baby bed turns into a toddler bed, then a day bed. Maybe even a transitional.. I don't know. But she woke up at 3 am crying to get in our bed... So at least if she wakes up she can get up and get in herself! :lol: I still can't get her off the freakin bottle! I got her sitting on the potty. But she only sits for like a second and says Tee tee! She says poo poo the funniest way... I can't even write it! She knows how to say the P sound.. but she doesnt do it! That is too funny! Well anyways I got lists to make for groceries, my menu for the week, household items.. etc. So I need to get on the ball before this turns into one of my many procrastinations!!! Hi everyone :) Had a six point dinner and 3 point dessert leaving me with one point today :) Not sure if I'll use it or not, but probably. I'm kind of hungry today for some reason.

Jill- glad the dentist wasn't too bad. I'm not sure about the grinding teeth/jaw thing.

Jaymi- sorry TOM is causing havoc with your diet. Boy do I understand that one. Anyway, once he leaves I know you'll be back on track again.

I can't wait for tomorrow- it's my WI day and my flexpoints reset. The two days I've been OP, I haven't used activity or flexpoints to try and make up for my awful behavior last weekend. I also can't wait to see DH again. I'm exhausted as usual :( TTYL!

Hey Jill, the grinding thing is just gonna be. I guess they feel these things in their mouth and don't know what to do with them. One of mine, I don't remember which one was terrible at that. They will grow out of it.
I feel for you, I hate and I mean HATE the dentist. I guess that could be my one and only phobia. I hate them immensely.
Well girls, I made a quick stew for lunch and had some for dinner too. It hit the spot totally. I've gotten some crocheting done today and Andrew seems to be feeling alittle better. I'm worried though, he's coughing and that's how his asthma starts out. I've got to keep my eye on him. I'm gonna watch Cold Mountain tonight when I put the kids to bed, I can't wait.
