Good morning - sort of. It was a restless night for Liam, so I didn't sleep that well, either

Michelle - that lawsuit sounds bizarre. Hope it doesn't work out to her benefit in the end. How on earth can an injury cause MS? I don't get that at all. I like that poem

Spryng -glad you had such a nice day. Yeah, I think the buns must be included because the calorie count seems too high for turkey burgers otherwise Sounds like you're doing well with the workouts!

Well, it's my usual walk this morning followed by errands. Yesterday I came in under points! And I, of course, peeked at the scale today and things are still moving in the right direction, so I'm relieved. I'll let ya'll know how this workout wear works . . .

Good Morning!

Leigh- I'm sure that she can't possibly win this lawsuit, its just outrageous and very frivolous in my opinion. I just hate how her lawyer tries to make my hubby look like a big sexist pig when he isn't at all!! I hope you enjoy your workout this morning!! I also hope Liam takes a good nap today perhaps you can take one then too!

Well I don't have anything planned for today I think I'm going to take the girls out in the backyard to play on the swing set. Hubby finally was able to get the lawn mowed now that it stopped raining long enough for it to dry up. He said the back yard had gotten so thick he had to go only a quarter at a time lol.

I hope you all have a great day, I'm gonna go hop in the shower.

Good morning all!

Michelle, so glad to hear she isn't sueing your DH directly. That would be such a pain. And I'm with you, I hope she doesn't win. But I guess some people will do anything for 9 million bucks huh? Have fun with the girls on the swingset! I like to jump my kids rope when I'm outside with them ,gives me a little extra workout and it's fun.
Leigh I came in under pts last night too! lol. Maybe it's the warmer tempts that are keeping us filling a little fuller. But of course I have really been trying to eat more veggies and 0 pt things lately so I don't eat so much other stuff. Like a few weeks ago I would save ALOT of pts for dinner (usually around 14) so I could have to helpings of dinner, but with the saving dinner recipes I only make enough for me to have one servings and one for lunch during the week, but I fill up on the sweet potatoes, salad, or whatever else she recommends for the sides. And I love sweet potatoes so I have alot of it. (all within my pts though, 8 oz is only 3 pts) So now I can cut dinner down to 9-10 pts max and eat more at lunch which keeps me satisfied longer. used to I was starving by dinner time and now because lunches are little bigger I'm just starting to get an appetite by time dinner time comes round so I don't feel like I have to overeat. But anyway, I went on and on didn't I? lol. What are you making with the turkey burgers? Salad and oven fries maybe? Sounds good. Tonight I'm making that Mexican Torta. It's kinda like a enchilada pie. Sounds really good and I LOVE mexican food. What is everyone else having?
Oh Michelle, I will post that Beef Pasta Satay on the mom's losing weight board if you want it. Just let me know! It was really simple and easy to make with good flavor. I gave it 5 stars!

Ok, today I'm just cleaning up the house. I was so tired last night that I didn't get my dishes done so I'm off to load the dishwasher now. TTYL!

Hi, Michelle! Wow, it's quiet today A nap would be soooo nice. We have to run some errands, and I want to stop by Burger King and get one of those Shrimp Ceasar salads with fat-free dressing (only 4.5 points!). I'm craving it, actually.
Hope you have fun playing with the girls!

Spryng - oops I posted at the same time and missed you
Dinner sounds yummy. I love Mexican too. We're having Basil-Dijon Burgers (turkey burgers). I remember you saying that you'd have lots of points for dinner and I wondered how you did that without being hungry. I can do that once in a while, if I'm saving up for a specific dinner or to go out. My favorite meal of the day is lunch - it's when I'm hungriest
Have a good day!

Hey chicks!!

My little man was feeling really rotten yesterday and so was I(thanks to TOM) so I didn't get on much. Christian is croupy now, so I have spent the morning trying to get his appointments set up. I am not happy that they want to wait until June to even see him at the ENT. So I may call a few more after lunch. He has been sick 3 out of 4 weeks in May and I don't want another month like that. GRRRRRR!

Nothing special going on here with me. My a/c is still not working right after two visits from the repair man. My house is a wreck because I have a baby to hold all the time. I am not having fun, can ya tell???

But all this food talk I have been reading is making me hungry, so I will go have lunch now, and maybe I'll be happier the next time I drop by.

Later, taters!

Leigh - That salad does sound good but I don't really go to the fast food restaurants because I don't really trust myself to not get a cheeseburger or something so I stay far far away and have so far been happy. I did have a Mcd's salad a few weeks ago cuz we were shopping in walmart and Taylor was hungry. It was pretty good!

Spryng - That would be great if you posted the recipe!! I was going to try and revamp the recipe section on the page because it was so hard to post them there. Maybe if we just have a recipe section on the message boards. I think it will be easier that way. I looooveeee sweet potatoes!! I don't eat them though because of the starch factor so I have been substituting cooked squash I just put a little splenda in it to sweeten it up a little and sometimes a little cinnamon. Yummmm!

Crystal - Hope everything is going good with your build loan! Let us know!! I hope you begin to feel better!! Hows the healthy eating going? Still exercising?

I should go downstairs and get my walk done before this afternoon. I'm going to do 4 miles, and some crunches and stretching. I really want to use my resistance bands but doc says no no not until I finish the vioxx and make sure I don't have a chest injury. grrrr I love using the bands because I was starting to see some definition in my arms! Ok well I'm off to work out!

Cindi!!! We were posting at the same time. I don't want to scare you but Taylor was sick like that too it started in september and I took her to Urgent care and they said she had croup well she kept getting sick just like christian 3 weeks out of ever 4 until on New Years eve we rushed her to the ER because she had turned blue and was shaking uncontrollably well it turns out she eventually came down with full blown RSV and Pneumonia in one of her lungs. I was sooo ticked at all the other doctors because they could have prevented it if they had taken a few minutes to perform a few extra tests. But that is just my experience. I sure hope the little guy gets to feeling better.

Smile Good Morning Again...

Okay, I'm back for a bit. My hair and face are done, I'm dressed, livingroom is picked up, clothes in the wash, tea is brewing. I'm taking a breather. Dinner is thawing...Mediterranean Chicken and Rice Pilaf, sounds good to me.
Spryng, the bee thing was unlike anything we've ever seen. Never ever in a thousand years. Dh said he used to watch a man get the honey out of the hives and such and still never seen anything like it. It was really scary because the kids were outside with us. Thank goodness Andrew was inside sleeping.
Di, I will get some homeschool sites together. I started with preschool and I learned the best thing for preschool is to put your own curriculum together with books and the internet. I used Alpha Omega for Kindergarten and I'm using Abeka and Bob Jones for 1st grade. Just go to your search engine and type in homeschool curriculum or anything with homeschool in the title and you will get countless sites to visit.
Michelle, hope you're doing good today.
Leigh, hope the lack of sleep isn't effecting you too much.

I was gone All day yesterday. I was at my moms house from 945 to 415. We played on the slip n' slide, of course, I just walked on it back and forth then when we got home I got in my pool with Andrew and Alisa for a while.
Well, I feel like I need a nap badly, Andrew is sleeping now, but hopefully he will agian later. Not my luck though. Well, I'll check back later.

Hi Michelle, I haven't been counting calories, which I really want to, but I am hungy all the time, it's hard to keep track of them. But I am doing okay and the exercising, I haven't had the time. I walked one day last week and the next I cleaned out our storage shed and worked in the garden, so I thought that would consititute as exercise. I am not giving up, timing just has been bad. I should be able to go walking today and work in the garden. I'll count calories soon enough. I just had a WW dinner for lunch along with some chips, bad, and a little debbie snack for dessert, bad. But those are extra calories.
Anyway, the girls went next door to play so Andrew and I are going to get in the pool. It's not big enough to constitute that as exercise, just fun. LOL

Crystal - Good for you for still making a consious effort to be healthy and I know how hard it gets when pregnant lol. Keep up the great work!! Also Abeka is the homeschool program that I am kind of looking into it was reccommended to me by a past co-worker and their family absolutely swears by the abeka curricula.

Di - Glad to see you are still around. Hope AF makes it a quick "visit". Keep up the good work!

Well I got in a 4 mile walk I'm waiting for hubby to finish fixing my dvd so I can go another 2 I'm going for 1.5 hours of exercise a day at least 25 days this month. Ok my dvd is fixed so I'm off to do another 2 mile walk.

Default Afternoon Report

Good afternoon, everyone

Crystal - must be those pregnancy hormones hard at work I was starving the whole time I was pregnant.Hope you get a good nap in.

Cindi - Oh, no! I hope Christian feels better soon . . . and gets into a doctor soon too!

Michelle - I guess it depends on the day for me with fast food. If I know exactly what I'm ordering ahead of time, then I'm fine. 4 miles??? That's awesome! Does SB encourage exercise as part of the plan? I don't know anything about SB, so am just curious

Di - on the weight loss! That's excellent news.

Well, I'm right OP today. Did my 2 mile walk, am eating well. I'm trying to set aside points for 4pm each day because that's my "hungriest" time of day. Today I'm planning to have some super-high fiber cereal and super-high fiber toast. I figure the combination of fiber and protein (skim milk) will help.
