Cindi - Uh oh!! Swallowed quarters?? That's what I have to look forward to?? I think I'm in for some big trouble lol Girly I hope you are feeling better now that the weekend is over You never need to apologize for "whining" as you put it, we are here to listen and help and enjoy doing so, if we didnt we wouldn't be here Way to go with keeping the eating sensible!! You are doing wonderful!!

Spryng - I have noticed that my arms look a bit slimmer but aren't by any means thin but look better than they did Yeah I should write her a letter once I reach goal maybe she would want me in her videos LOL totally kidding

Ok I'm off to make dinner since I can't make it to Spryngs house in time

Hi Deanna, welcome to the group! I saw your question about the South Beach Diet, and Penny really gave you the best explanation of it. The only thing I would add is that if you choose to follow the meal plans in the book, you better have a HUGE grocery budget! If you plan to just use the approved foods list, you can do a little better, but you'll sacrifice variety for budget. I had been using the south beach plan, and was seeing some success, but it was just too expensive, our grocery budget didn't stretch far enough to accomodate it. ( This was with both hubby and I eating the same foods, no short order cooking in this house! lol)

Good luck with whatever you choose. I have found the motivation here alone has been enough to help me make the choices I know are right for my body, this is a great group.
