Hi!

Cindi, peanut butter and tomato sandwiches and you felt tired and queezy today???? Pregnant? lol. Hey it's great that you are craving veggies for dinner! I wish I craved them more often.
Leigh, you just may be feeling hungry because you are getting anxious about your trip and it's making you want to eat. Don't worry about it. I'm sure you will get back OP when you get home. Just try not to gain everything you lost while you are gone. I hate starting from ground zero again.
Crystal, homemade cornbread sounds so great right now. I ended up having leftover morroccan chicken with the rice. It hit the spot. I even have a point left to indulge in one snackwells chocolate cookie, mmmmm....

Well dinner is over, laundry is done for today! (yah!) and the kids are playing my gamecube in the living room. Nothing to do around here now.Maybe I'll crochet until 7 pm then survivor comes on! Anyone else watch it?

Good Afternoon!!

Yes I got a ton of rest and I feel pretty good and my pink eye is getting better I took drops as soon as I got up and the swelling seems to have gone down, so hopefully now that the linens are washed again and I lysoled everything to death it wont come back.
Crystal - I know my hubby is different I'm so lucky to have him around, he really does a lot for me

So we decided definately that we won't be having any more children so hubby is gonna get a vasectomy because I can't use birth control cuz I gain weight like mad from the hormones and what fun is a condom when your married lol Im jk ... well kind of. :P

Spryng - I didnt know that dogs urine browned up the grass either but hubby said yes so I'm gonna figure something out, now if we can figure out how to get the neighbors to take care of their yard so the dandelions dont grow into our yard, damn them lazy neighbors, their house would look nice if they took care of it.

I think we may have shrimp for dinner tonight I dunno what with it but I'll figure that out sooner or later. Well I better rescue the baby who has crawled under the desk and is playing with my toes lol.

I will TTYL!!

Hi Michelle!
I'm so glad you are feeling better and your eye is getting better. My DH and I talked about a vasectomy after Tanner was born but it scared me. I'm only 24 so I don't want to do that quite yet. Not saying I want more kids but I don't want the permanance a vasectomy will bring. So I ended up getting the IUD. I really like it and it's good for 5 years. Those copper ones are good for 10 years! And they have no hormones in them. But I think we can all understand the condom thing. LOL. We have neighbors like yours too. They never mow their lawn and have things piled everywhere so it makes everyone's house look bad. But they are a weird family. Shrimp sounds good. I hardly ever make it because it's so expensive around here. That goes for all seafood though.

Well I am just killing time now. Did some crocheting and now I'm tired of that. Boy today almost feels like a weekend. I never have anything to do on the weekends. Ok, guess I'll get off here. TTYL!

Hi Spryng!! We decided on a vasectomy for a number of reasons, I had such a horrible pregnancy with the last one that i was in bed til months after the birth. I too was uneasy about not ever being able to have another child again but we talked about that too and decided that should we ever want another child in our home that we would adopt a child and give them the chance at a good life. But those are our reasons I know I'll be emotional when its done but I think its for the best for us and the best part is he volunteered for the vas.

Shrimp around here is rather expensive as well but I buy frozen shrimp I can sautee it in butter and garlic, or throw it in some tomato sauce with bell peppers and onions and make some shrimp creole. I find the frozen shrimp is a few dollars cheaper than fresh shrimp.

I was thinking that today felt like a weekend as well, just a really lazy day. I totally understand about the neighbor situation I kinda wish I lived in a gated community so they would have to clean up their crap, I almost want to just go mow their lawn myself lol I wonder if they would say anything.

Any way I'm gonna go watch a movie, I'm sure I'll post again before bed.

Take Care!
Michelle

Smile Well, it's about bedtime...

Hi girls. Only a few of you posted today. Glad to read through them though.
Well, I've had this pain in my back all day, I think too much sleep. It's like a crick in my back instead of my neck. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Well the stew did not turn out good but the cornbread did. I ate alittle of both anyway. I still have over 100 calories, not sure if I'll use them. It's so funny, I started out counting calories and using about 400 per meal give or take and a few for snacks. Now I'm more at like 300 a meal. I'm a snacker though, so it works out good for me. My snacks are consisting of sugar free cookies or fruit, usually. It's just funny how I'm seeing myself and my eating habits change right in front of me.

Well, my dh has offered the vasectomy, it just hasn't gotten done, lol. He knows that's our best solution, I don't take any birth control, never have. We use nothing. But I knew I wanted at least 3 kids. After the second, I knew that wasn't all. I could just feel it. But it's funny, after Andrew I know it is. In fact, I'm getting rid of ALL my baby items. We know, that if it's God's will, it will happen. But God and I had a talk when I was pregnant with Andrew and I really don't think I'll have anymore. I just don't feel it or see it. We are so happy with what we've got. I hope at some point he'll get the vas. I don't think I'll be upset a bit. It's funny how the feeling after two and then after three is so different and so strong.

Michelle, glad to hear the pink eye is getting better. Hope you enjoy your shrimp. I can't stand it or any seafood for that matter.

Spryng, your leftovers sounded better than my dinner did. Glad you got to enjoy some crocheting.

Anyway, I think I'm gonna sit down with a heating pad on my back. Maybe enjoy a snack or something. I hope everyone has a great night. Tomorrow is WI day and I'm alittle nervous since last week was a 2# gain. I've done great this week minus the exercise.

I decided on the salmon for dinner. It was late and I didn't even want to eat, but knew I should.

WILL YOU ALL REMIND ME THAT I DON'T WANT TO TAKE KIDS TO THE STORE WITH ME, for anything!! They made me so tired. I hope tomorrow is better, my roll I was on got the brakes put on in a hurry.

I can't think straight to remember what everyone else typed, so I guess I should call it a night, huh?

See ya in the AM!!!!

Hey, everyone.
Peanut butter and tomato? I like pb and mustard sandwiches myself, but to each his own. Sounds like everyone is doing good. I didn't exercise today, but I will tomorrow. I haven't lost any weight this week, but didn't gain either which is amazing since its TOM. Yesterday we took ds #1 to his kindergarten tour, and he was checking out the girls. Last week he called a little girl at playgroup his queen, and then kissed her under the covers in his room.
I had to fast for 6 hours before my blood draw today, so needless to say my eating was off. Not calorie wise, just not the best choices. I got all my water in though. Sorry not to get personal, will try to next time.

Ricci..OMG! What's up with Ds #1??? That's the same one with the bike accident isn't it? Didn't think I had to worry about that at his age

Cindi...I'm hesitant to take Will shopping after our horendous Target trip last weekend. We went to Walmart today ($50 + on diapers and wipes for both boys...arrrrrgh) and he was great. We didn't go near the toys and he has forgotten all about the fish we saw the last time we were there. Of course Grandma was with us so he behaved!
I had the same PG thought about the PB and tomato adn the queasiness! lol

Crystal..looking forward to a good report tomorrow. Sounds like your eating was very under control and you should have gotten some exercise with all the cleaning you have been doing.

Michelle, we buy the frozen shrimp too. No way I'm going to shell out the $$ for fresh unless I'm in FL and they're REALLY fresh. Glad your eye's getting better.

Spryng, I'm glad Shi-Ann is out. I never liked her. I still don't know who I want to win...just not impressed with anyone.

Leigh...I'm going to FL with you! We're going Labor day week and I don't want to wait that long.

So how's this for weather....today's high was 78. Tomorrow it's not going to get out of the 40's! Might I suggest that no one moves to Wisconsin anytime soon???

Did the 3 mile walk this morning. Played around most of the rest of the day. BTW, my Dh helps out alot too. Picks up after the kids and does dishes when I let him. When I was working and he would take a day off of work he would end up vac'ing the entire house and making the bed 'cause he was bored. Of course I don't think he could find a toilet brush if it was left in front of him and every once in a while he'll ask where something is and I'll give him a smart alec respose like "we've lived here how long and you don't know where that is kept?" Really ticks him off...don't know why Gosh I don't know where the boys get it from.

I'm soooo tired...I'm off to bed now. Hello to everyone else out there! Melinda...looking forward to a post...it's been way too long!

Bye now!

Thumbs up Good Early Morning

Can't get my smilies to work this morning, huh!! Oh well. Needless to say, I'm having my coffee.

There we go, they're back. Okay, well, I know it's almost 530, not that early, but I've been up since 445. My night was back to normal which means SOSO!!!. Still have the back pain, but I think with my errands today, lifting kids, cleaning mom's house, it's bound to work itself out.

Cindi, hope you enjoyed your salmon. I can't believe the stuff you people eat. Tomatoes and PB, or PB and mustard. Oh my gosh, I think the weirdest it gets for me is like PB on pancakes, which I don't even do that anymore, too many calories. To each their own.

Geri, you have one of those different kinds of husbands too. How long have you been married? Did he come that way or did you make him? LOL

Ricci, not losing not gaining. I think it's a win win situation.

Well, my WI....................................lost 2 lbs. That would be the same 2 lbs. I gained last week. That's good and bad, let's see...................

It's good because: it is a loss, it's not a gain, it's the recommended loss for a week, it's w/o exercise and I'm enjoying the way I'm eating. Not deprived.

It's bad because: doesn't appear that I'll make my goal by next weekend, suppose to be down another 5 lbs. Maybe I'll exercise almost everyday this week and try to keep my cal count down to 1400.

However, like I said, a 2 lb. loss w/o exercise and eating a way that has become totally natural so I don't feel deprived or hungry, I think that's pretty dern good.

By the way, this won't make alot of since to most of you, but I got another promotion with my Watkins business. I've only done this for 2 months, and I got a promotion every month. Now I'm a SILVER consultant. It just means I make more % off my reps under me. YEAH. It's an accomplishment.

Well, I'll try to check in before I start my day, errands, cleaning mom's house, blah, blah, blah! Have a great day and hope everyone had a great night. And good luck to the WI's today.

Default Morning Chicks!

Hey Crystal, WTG on that loss! Glad you try to keep it positive! Next week will be even better.

As for me...I am down 3 pounds!! Considering some of the junk I ate, I am happy with that! But next week will be a better food week, even if I don't lose I like the way I feel when I eat right. I think maybe the queeziness could be from that McDs I had the night before, too junky for me now!! But I know I am NOT pg!! Every time I ever lose weight, I do get PG, but it's not a safe thing to do for me anymore!

Not rolling as well around the house yet...I have showered to shoes, given Christian a bath, done dishes, swept the floor, took Seth to school, gathered laundry, and helped Hope(who is pukey again). I will be doing laundry today and reorganizing the boys clothes.

Back later, hope everyone is doing well. Have a great, OP day!!

Good morning all!

Well just had my WI and I'm down and half lb!! I know that doesn't seem like much but when I'm so close to my personal goal (btw I have news on my personal goal) I'm lucky to be losing anything. I only lost 3 lbs total this month so you can understand what I mean about losing slow and enjoying anything I see as a loss, lol. Now about my personal goal. I've decided to change it to 125. 120 would be fantastic and maybe I'll shoot for it next year but I just want to get to 125 and maintain that weight. You know? Plus I know what I really need is exercise and as soon as I start doing that again the inches will come off and I'll get into a size 8 jean then. I really do like the way clothes fit me right now, I like how I look so I'm not going to kill myself to get down to 120. If I get there I get there, but now officially 125 is my personal goal weight and then I'm going into maintanance. Does this sound balanced?

Crystal congrats on getting those 2 lbs off you gained last week and congrats on the promotion! Both are great!
Geri, I thought Shii-ann deserved to go too because she was just digging her own grave. Should one of the power players gone instead? Sure, but when you are annoying and all that you will go first. I want rupert to win. I just fell in love with him in the last survivor. I almost cried last night when Big Tom didn't pick him to share the reward with his wife. But o-well.
Ricci, peanut butter and mustard!!!!? Is that when you are pregnant or any day of the week? I've never heard of that. gross, lol. How old is our ds that is kissing girls already? LOL. I am NOT ready for that stage. Kids grow up too fast.
Cindi, I will take those words back, lol. I was jk. Sorry the kids wore you out at the store yesterday. I'll be taking mine to walmart today and I hope Tanner stays seated or we will go round and round again. lol.
Michelle, I hope you don't feel like I was judgeing you for wanting a vasectomy. I sure wasn't. I was just saying that I'm not ready for that kind of permanent birth control but I think if others get it then it's all fine with me. You have to do what is best for you. I support that 100%! What movie did you end up watching last night?
Well today is payday and DH's check still hasn't been electronically deposited yet so I need to get around and take a com check to the bank. Next week it should be electronically deposited for sure which will save me a long drive. But I'm taking advantage of getting out of the house today, today is my flex point day so I'm going to get some junk food for tonight, take the kids out to lunch and rent some movies and all that. So I'll be gone most of the morning. Guess I need to get dressed. TTYL!

Default Good Morning

Hi everyone. Today I am back on track! Hopefully I'll be wise enough to make good choices over our vacation - thyat's always a challenge

Cindi - good that you took a break until you were feeling right again. Sometimes we all try to do too much. Also thank you for the kind words about my "off" day.

Spryng - sounds like you have some nice down time. Crochet away What are you making? Also that's interesting about the IUD - I have major issues with the hormones in the pill - they affect me badly. I'm on the progesterone-only pill, which is somewhat better for me. Does an IUD work as well as the pill as far as prevention/effectiveness?

Michelle - I love shrimp! Hope it was good. I could eat seafood for every meal, but that would be a little overboard, I suppose Hmm . . . good thing we're going to Florida then! Dogs do make the grass yellow/brown. We have a dog, but we live in a condo and I know nothing about lawn care, so am not much help, sorry.

Crystal - Hooray for the 2lb loss!!! Sounds like your body is really adjusting to a new calorie level. I'm a big snacker too, so I understand that! Take care of your back. I hope it feels better soon!

Ricci - aghhh! I don't want to think about Liam showing interest in girls!! I'd feel like he was soooo grown up. It's great that your maintaining!

Geri - You can come to FL early DH'sfamily and mine are both in FL - we absolutely love going and miss living there, but it's not very feasible right now with DH's job options. But we ust love the beach. I must say, DH helps me out when he can - he's very good about giving me "sanity" breaks and helping with housework when he's in town.

Well, thanks to the help of Flylady, I'm a bit more organized than usual as we leave for our trip. I actually have a menu and grocery list waiting for our return!!!

I'm off in about an hour, and I'm not sure how much I'll be able to check in while in FL. I'll try, though I'll miss you gals! Have a great week

Good morning.
The peanut butter and mustard I would eat pretty much any time. The only thing I craved when I was pregnant was lemon berry slushes from sonic. I had about two a day. Ds is only 5. That doesn't bode well for me when he gets older. I can only imagine getting called to the principals office because ds was kissing a girl. Some schools consider that sexual harrasment, even when they are this young.
Congrats to all you losers. Spryng, what are you crocheting? I need to finish my scarf I started, then maybe do another afghan. Leigh and Geri, I wish I could go to florida, especially after all this friggin rain we are getting again. Severe storms tonight too. I just wish it would quit raining on the weekend. It better not rain next weekend. That is our city wide garage sale, and I am running one with my mom. Well, I need to get off of here now. I will check back in later. Have a great day.

Good morning ladies

Crystal...good going on the 2# loss. Don't worry too much about reaching your mini goal. Just think of it as a little milestone you set maybe a little too aggressively! If you go down too far in your calorie count even for a week you may feel too deprived and have a set back. Just try to get a little exercise in this week. It makes a world of difference Hope your back is better soon.

Spryng, congrats on the half pound. It's a great loss considering where you're at. You're right, the exercise will help with inches, but if you're happy now you shouldn't kill yourself. Great attitude!!

Leigh..hope you have a great trip! It was 38 this morning when I got up...send some of those sunny rays here.

Cindi, congrats on the 3 lbs!!! Woooo hoooo!

Tony's at it again...he just doesn't want me to talk to you girls Got my 4 mile walk in with several breaks to split the boys up. Gotta go
