Hi ladies,

Susan - DUH! I didn't even think if the cast, lol! She is a pretty girl, and I bet she has lots of spirit. Your date with Alex sounds good to me. Marti is right, you can't do much talking during a movie. But I think it is such an important movie, you will remember it always so it will be nice that you were with him for that. The Olive Garden is a nice restaurant, but not "dressy". The food is so good, and they come around with cheese graters and grate cheese on whatever you are eating.... yum. The portions are enough for 3 or 4 people, seriously. Btw, hon, you are not large anywhere, except for your heart! Maurice's has some sweet little tops but then again, they are everywhere this season. I know because of Katie....

Marti - the photos are so good! I commented on the other thread.... You did really good with the food yesterday, and no, I can't imagine WHY you had a hard-boiled egg around the house, lol. Yes, the FT is easier this time because I have already been used to dieting. I won't lose any water weight like I did in the beginning, but I feel that whatever I do lose will be fat. YAY!!

Hi also to the others.

It is rainy and cold and very windy here in Indiana. We are on the edge of snow and I hope it passes us right by! It's April, for goodness sake! But I have seen snow in May before in Indiana!

Neal says when I mention my weight loss I should include the 10 pounds I kept off from last year ... I agree! After all, it was hard to lose it and keep it off, even if it was just 10 pounds. Hmmmm... I'm off to change my signature! LOL.

OMG.............Wiggles, Jana!!! OMG- can I change to the Yellow man, he is a CUTIE!! He is taller too,,,,,,omg,,,,,,,,,,yes he is cuter---oh well.......I picked blue yesterday--- can't be fickle in this Wiggle thing--- think I will go check out their website and see if their names are there. I can pretend I am going to get married to Mr Blue and write my new name over and over and over.....lol.

Think I will go with a black turtle neck (ala Diane Keaton) and blue jeans. I like the way I look in black and I do wear black framed eye glasses.
Anyway, I think I would be comfy in that. I don't want to worry about what I am wearing and tugging and squirming the whole time.Besides he is gong to get what he is going to get.
While I like him he is just ONE man- goodness knows I am going to be who I am and if doesn't like it..........tough boobies.

Man I am really off my schedule with my computer time. Spent most of the morning at the doctors going to and fro and being there, geez. Left to go at 9:15, appt. was at 10 and left at noon. They were really busy today, with the little ones. I swear it was kids day. Anyway, had my yearly exam so that is done and over with. I just hate those but it has to be done. Next week I get to go have a mammogram-what fun! Anywho...got some medicine for the fever blister. It's more for the next time I get one, I can nip it in the bud before it gets started. I don't get them often, every few years or so but seems when I get one it is a big one and they hurt. We talked about the big M, which I think I am going through. Fine with me as it has been nice not having a period for months. Had to get a tetnus shot-OUCH! I hate shots and talked about my arm. Marti, I have a touch of carpal tunnel syndrome, bursitis and tendonitis in my right arm. A couple of years ago she gave me a cortisone shot and it worked really good but this last time (a few months ago) it didn't help at all. So she scheduled me to see a specialist but before that appointment I am have to get a MRI Thursday so she can see what is going on because the pain has moved up to my neck and sometimes I have a little bit of numbness. I was 2 hours at the docotors but it was necessary and it didn't seem like it was 2 hours. I feel so violated! Just kidding. Didn't get home till almost 2-after getting some lunch, and dropping the prescription off. I did good for lunch for eating out, went to Subway and had a plain subway club-no condiments. Carrie actually got me eating them like that. So we get a foot long which is cheaper than buying two 6 inch ones and we share it.

Susan & Jana~you ladies have me curious about the Wiggles. I am going to have to see what it is all about.

Susan~Have you tried Old Navy for a SB dress?? They always have some cute ones and they are reasonably priced-love that store. I think a black turtle neck and jeans will be nice enough. I too like the way I look in black, and I love it with denim. How is Rebecca doing today? Did you get her to the doc for fainting? That would scare me to death. Hope the job interview goes well for ya. Keeping my fingers and sending some good luck your way. Oooooo, Olive Garden-love it! Like Marti, I like the salad and breadsticks. If you like pasta it is the place to go-really good. Okay, just my 2 cents on a movie date-I never cared for going to a movie on a first date. You can't really talk. But since you and Alex are doing more than just a movie that is a bit different. Because you will actually have time to talk during lunch and through the capitol.

Jana~I agree with Neal also, you definitely should be adding the 10 pounds, and I see that you have. Sounds like you guys got the weather we had over the weekend. It got really cool last night and in osme parts of western KS they got snow!

Marti~CONGRAT'S to James on all the job offers and getting the job at the RR! We haven't gotten anything done to our yard yet. That was our plans this past weekend-to do some landscaping but it started raining Saturday and rained most of the day so our yard was a total mud hole. Just waaay too muddy to do anything. I am anxious though and hoping the weather stays nice the rest of the week. I will take some before and after pictures though and post them when we actually get something done. I am going to do a scrapbook of the house-before & after, once we are all finished. The main floor is almost done. We are still waiting for 2 blinds in the LR & 2 in the bedroom and then it is done. Ooops, no it's not-I have to get a picture for the dining room wall. I know what I want-just have to order it. I really like all the color. Then we are going to concentrate on the yard and then work on the basement rooms after that. Not sure what I want to do in the family room, exercise room and the office. I know what you said is so true, but I get in a house I just want to hurry up and get it done, not sure why except that it will be done. I need to work on my scrapbooking! I'll have to take some pictures of what's done so far.

did anyone happen to catch the Miss USA pagent last night?? If so, any thoughts on it? I watched Fear Factor and liked Miss Alabama and was happy she made it as far as she did. In the end I am glad Miss MO won-liked her the best out of the 5. I hadn't seen one in years and wow, have they changed.

Visit with my cousin was nice, she is such a sweetie. She is just a year younger than me and is single. Was married once and never had children and is very content with all that. She orginally was going to stay in Dallas for 2 months but after 2 1/2 weeks and many job applications she thought she would go back to Denver and wait it out. See if anyone calls and then move to Dallas. She said it turned into a 2 1/2 week vacation and was nice.

Well today felt very long for me and it's only 3:25!!

Went to school did my schooling....then afterwards I had to go to the State Revenue Department only for them to tell me to make a phone call! Whatever!! But thats ok...I didn't want to stand in a huge line...even though there wasn't anyone else in there. (so what am I complaining about?? I'm not sure...........)

On to something else.

I'm glad you all liked the photos. I have more but I didn't want to post all of them. And I didn't post Shanna's because I haven't asked if I could yet. So until she says ok.....
I still need to write out my thank you cards!! I'm horrible with getting things done. (so ladies...if you need a favor....and need it done quickly...I may not be the girl to ask)

Cristi--I walked by a Subway today and it smelled so good!! But...to save money I went home. I ate popcorn and a deviled egg. Not too nutritious is it? I too want to do something with my yard. I really want some hedges or some type of bush to block the neighbors behind us!! Not that they're bad people or anything, but when I take the dogs out in the morning I feel like I'm pearing into thier homes when I'm facing them. (they keep their curtains open) Plus...cocoa tends to bark at anything moving (which drives me crazy) and sometimes it's too early for her to be doing that!! (The fence is only 5ft. from their doors and windows) So hopefully next Spring James and I can get either a fence or some shrubs for privacy.

Susan--I was looking at the weather forecast for the weekend and on Saturday it's suppose to be nice again!! So hopefully you'll have a dry stroll at the Capitol!! Also...as Cristi said...Old Navy has such cute clothes!! Only wish some of their things looked cute on me. My belly is having a race with my chest to see who can stick out the farthest!! It's awful.

Rita--Glad to see you pop in! It's raining in your part of the states? We've been having beautiful weather all week..but today it's really cloudy and very windy. The sun was out most of the morning and this afternoon, but now it's starting to rain.

Jana--I forgot to answer a question you ask from before. About if Jhanai still believes in the Easter Bunny......sadly no. In fact...just the other day we were in Wal-mart and I was looking at all the stuff and she said something about candy...I told her that maybe the easter bunny will bring it...She LOUDLY announced that she KNOWS that I'm the Easter Bunny, Santa Clause, the Tooth Fairy and so on...I had to hush her up and tell her that you should always believe,,,and if you don't at least let the other kids who are walking around believe. She was smiling the whole time she was announcing this so at least she wasn't angry about it. I told her that I still believe and always will.

Hi to the rest of the girls. I have to catch up on some math and Accounting homework. Ick! But it has to be done. I'm ready to go to work instead of going to school. I'm just tired of stressing over "which assignments are due when" "when is the next test" and so on. I just want to work, then come home and not worry about anything!! (I would not be good to own my own business!!)

Marti - as I said before, I was really sad when Katie figured out about the Easter Bunny, Santa, etc. But now I have grandkids who have brought all the magic back!! YAY!! Just hang in there with school, it will be over before you know it.

Susan - who is Woody and the BCRs? I'm clueless, lol. A black turtleneck is sexy in a non-obvious way. I know that whatever you wear, you'll be beautiful. Btw, when is your interview? Neal says it's ok to post his picture, so I'll try to do that soon. (Edit: It is now added to my Easter photos album.) He truly is a sweetie. He's 10 years older than me and spoils me. Well, we spoil each other. I will be so glad when he retires in a couple of years. We plan to travel and just hang out.

Cristi - glad you are getting the MRI Thursday - hopefully they will find out what is causing you such pain. The Wiggles are 4 guys from England who have a kids show. They sing and dance and do silly stuff and have big fake animal friends. The twins love them, and I think Susan is becoming an obsessed groupie of theirs, lol!

Rita - hi! It's been dreary in Indiana, too, but it's supposed to clear up tomorrow and turn warmer again. But til then, we have a frost advisory for tonight. Good belly-rubbin' weather, lol.

Well, I didn't accomplish much today. Went to Walmart to get a gift for a boy's b/d party. He's turning 2 so I got a Sit & Spin. Looks like fun to me, and if they had one in my size, I'd buy it, lol. Kinda like the Tilt-a-Whirl at the fair!

The FT is going great. I am not nearly as hungry this time as I was in the beginning, and I feel so good putting all the healthy food in my body. Sounds corny, but it's true.

Well....I've been spending the last few hours doing math homework. It's not too difficult, but I put it off to the last minute and it's all do tomorrow. It's a weeks worth. (aren't I terrible?) Then I have to do some Accounting. That won't take long. (and no...I didn't put that one off......I'm keeping up)

I thought I would pop in one more time before I drown myself into more homework...after that I'm off to bed. I'm getting tired.

I can set my extra 4 hours any way I want - just have to be consistant.

Alex called and left a message- very sweet. He said "just called to say hello....so, ummmm, hello" and he laughed.
So, I called back and said ....." I got your message just wanted to say hi back to your answering machine......so hi answering machine".

He wrote a message tonight and said he got the message and that I was "too cute"....omg- I think he likes me.He is always proper , in a proper way....lol....really hard to know what he wants.I guess we should start with meeting??? lol

Marti - I think you are doing really well with your classes, especially with everything else going on! I bet not many of your classmates planned a wedding during it all!

Susan - YAY for the increased hours at work!!! That's gotta be a relief. BCRs!!!!! S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y NIGHT!!!! I remember the Bay City Rollers, just didn't know Woody, lol. Yes, Neal is a college professor who teaches Earth Science, Conservation and Astronomy. He is actually a geomorphologist. But he isn't pompus or snobby about it at all. He has a terrible time spelling stuff, and gets mad when the students correct a word he writes on the board, lol. He is the kind of prof who really gives a student the benefit of the doubt, and almost always adds points to the grades of the ones who show up, try hard, and behave themselves. He has a soft spot for older students, especially mothers. When we run into students in public, usually they will comment on something in my life, and I know Neal has been boring them again with stories about me, lol. So glad you and Alex are able to talk each day again. He sounds really nice. I will watch Gaby for free if you can get her here, lol. She would have fun with the twins who are almost 22 mos. old.

The sun is shining here in Indiana and the high will be in the low 60s - I can get out and do some stuff in the yard. I am going to place the big flower containers where I want them in front of the porch and Neal will fill them with potting soil. Then I have to go shopping for the plants. When it's all done, I'll take a picture to share.

You don't remember Woody? He played guiter along with Eric- Leslie sang and Derek was on drums- Alan left the group (Derek & Alan started BCR's and are brothers) and in came Ian.......don't know how and why I remember this.....lol

Neal looks like a very nice man. I like that he has a soft spot for older students- they certainly need the encouragement - not easy going back especially with kids at home and even working a job.

I worked for a Oregon supreme court justice , he was the owner of the property I managed- he was a down to earth , kind man- thought I was wonderful the way I managed his property....lol. Never did tell him I dropped out in the 7th grade....lol

I might ask my sister to watch Gaby. I would ask the ex but not real comfortable with him knowing my every move.Have 3 days to work this out- though I will let Alex know that I need to work on this child care problem....maybe he will say to just bring her along??? That would melt my heart- wedding bells would be chimmimg.....lol Wouldn't that be sweet?? Course shouldn't drag Gabster along on a first meeting- though she would make a great conversation piece and she DOES love pasta

I am so excited about the added hours! I was hoping for it but hadn't had a chance to talk with the boss.....I get full medical for myself and kids- a raise-cost so muchto raise kids. Also don't look for my boss to be there that much longer- if he can give me a year and I can learn everything in that time would love to be a manager- pays double what I am getting now and I would be able to live off site-something to work for, certainly not a dead end job and it is Federal!! -

anyway will go read all the post fully so I can talk about something else besides me.....lol, sorry.
