Hello Ladies,
Just a quick hello, went out for lunch today. Didn't walk yesterday or today. I have got to get out and walk this evening.

will post later tonight

Nita 04-30-2004 02:23 PM

Hi Ladies,

Well I weighed in at WW and I am 1/2 lb. away from my two-pound limit. I am hoping to get there by next week. The weight has sure come off very slowly this time--7-1/2 lbs. in 10 weeks. My hand didn't do well at work yesterday and I probably shouldn't have worked so hard. I really miss bowling but I know I will be bowling as soon as my hand allows me. I went to the Chiro again this morning and I sure do feel great afterwards. My back and left arm are almost as good as new. I probably need only one more visit.

Thin Liz -- Wishing you a safe trip back home. Again, it was so great to meet you in person. Perhaps next year we can visit a little longer!

I hope everyone is having a "super" Friday. HalGal, before I forget, I love your graphics you post, they are very refreshing and make me feel great!

Take care,
Anita

mooz49 05-01-2004 05:19 PM

Hi chicks - just a quick call - no new computer yet so just on Paul's here for a minute. I will try and get on for longer tomorrow or Monday.

Nita 05-01-2004 07:42 PM

Just a quick message to let you know I just got a virus on my other computer and it seemed to happen after I opened Dr. Phil's weekly schedule. I still can't type too long because my hand is still not in good form. I believe had I not gone to work on Thursday it would be way better today.

Hope you are all having a "super" weekend!

Take care,
Anita

RE: Derby Day in Kentucky...

http://www.imgag.com/product/full/ap...8/graphic1.gif
Hello Everyone...

Today was Derby Day, a very big day in the state of Kentucky. Most folks have parties and private Derby drawings for winner picks of the race. The local pubs and bars do a hefty business with the large screen televisions as folks watch the races - and now bet online. This computer age certainly has made things convenient for us.

I ran errands and took a nap! I've just been exhausted. I got to school yesterday morning at 7:15A, and left the building at 8:45P. Thursday and Monday were similar hours. It is grueling, by weeks end I am not ready to even think about doing anything. I think I told you, my principal ask me to organize a review session for the sophomores of our school - which will take place this Monday and Tuesday. I worked on it after school every day last week, and still have a few hours of keying in rotation charts to give to each student first thing Monday and Tuesday morning. Let's not forget the last, yes LAST, of the required 3 hour after school meetings this Monday. Anyway... If you ever hear anyone say how teachers have it made, because they are finished at 3P and have the summer off... flashback to this!

I ate fast food today. The worst thing in the world, but I was in the mood. I honestly do not like fast food, but today it was fast and that is why I did it. Do you know I was so busy I forgot to eat my lunch and even left it at school - remembering it as I walked in the door here at 9P last night! It was one of those Arby's Martha's Vineyard salads! I'll be in tomorrow and hope it will still be good - I hate to waste money like that.

Speaking of wasting money - NO, I did not bet on the Derby this year. I did a pretend bet, and my horses did not win - so I felt like I won when the race was over! That is really reaching, I know.

You know I had two dreams in the last two weeks about POW's being tortured? I am not upset with this war - altho I do not agree with much of the politics involved. I've always heard of folks having preminision dreams and I had one (actually two!). When the news came on today with the reports of POW torture I about flipped. You just have to wonder about what the connection is - how did I know? Anyway...

Time to work a little and watch Nashville Star. Anyone here watch it?

More later.... Peace... :comp: :grouphug: ;)

RE: Postive energy...

Good Sunday morning...

Everyone sleeping in this rainy Sunday morning? Me... well, I typed on the sophomore testing review sheets until 1A. (Until SNL signed off. I love watching to see if they dare to joke about our government - with all of the threats not to do such a thing beng real life.) I began typing again about 9A this morning. I'd love to finish by noon and go have a nice, relaxing lunch at a nice deli that recently opened. After that... a long afternon at school cutting, colating and distributing the review slips, plus finishing last weeks ungraded work.

Exercise? My mind is getting a work out.

I'm doing laundry and trying to clean here and there... as I take a breaks.

I have Ambassator Joe Wilson on Meet The Press discussing whom 'outed' his CIA operative wife 8 days after he was on this show indicating he did not believe Saddam Hussein was an accurate target for war based upon terrorism. It is really sad, really scary stuff.

Nita 05-02-2004 05:24 PM

Hi HalGal,

It looks like it is just you and me today! I am really upset because I could not bowl in the tournament today and more upset because I really can't clean house, or do anything because my hand is still in pain. Today is the 8th day and I sure hope by next Friday I can back to doing some fun things. I did do a little work in the yard before it got too hot and then I walked on the treadmill for about 24 minutes. It is even getting too hot in the garage to keep doing this. Sorry I am not more upbeat today but don't worry I will be fine, hopefully in a couple of days. I am not sure I mentioned I start my voluntary assignment as a mediator with one of our local TV stations this Wednesday. This sounds like a very interesting assignment. Well I had better go and stop using my left hand so much!

Take care,
Anita

Catlover777 05-02-2004 07:17 PM

good evening

Sorry--busy girl.

Both my performance at the Arts for Peace and my dress rehearsal for my performance Thur. went well. So that pleased me.

I had really hoped that the cortisone shot was helping my foot, but looks like not. So I had to write up my history with the problem (20 years!) to justify to the insurance doing the orthotripsy.

Then at work I found I have an interview for a job as a trainer :) . They want me to do a 5-7 minute presentation on one of the most common forms we use. I think that's an excellent way to see if someone is capable, but not much time to prepare. And there's another job I'm applying for (at work), so I had to brush up my resume a bit for that.

Then I was Servant of Celebration at the early service and taught Sunday School at the late service. Told the Exodus. And nipped around and watered the plants, because no one had done that.

Our teacher decided our poetry class was so good that we are continuing two more weeks, which is great--but that meant turning out another poem. (One new poems, and another revision of one I've been working on).

Nita--sorry your hand's taking so long to heal. Have you tried taking zinc? Sometimes that helps. And just some extra stress-b to give you body the tools it needs for repair. Hal--you sound busy enough to put me to shame.

My, it's time for dinner.

Love ya--

CAtlover

thinlizzie 05-03-2004 08:24 PM

Hello Chicks~~ writing you from our condo in Winter Park Colorado. And let me tell you it is a perfect name for it. It really thrives in ski season, luckily that stuff is closed now so the town is pretty quiet. The snow is only in a few spots where plows piled it up, and then of course still VERY white up on the peaks. I wish i had my camera software so i could show you just what i mean.

We can only stay here till Friday and then we can spend the following weekend in Denver at his brothers. His sister lives in one subdivision on the north side and he lives on the south side, but somehow we WILL all get together.

To keep busy up here we have been out sightseeing some of the national parks and we bought fishing licenses. Today we each caught 2 trout and i will be cooking 2 for supper tonite. YUM. Fresh and out of some cold glacial lakes, they should be excellent. I laughed about how we just ate halibut last night but that was $7 bucks a pound from the store, so we both shared the under 1 # piece. Tonite we will have a bit more each.

Tomorrow early we are going to try one more time for the fish on some nice lakes. I'll take more pics.

Hope you are all doing well, and i will certainly try to log on again while we are in this area.

:grouphug:  thinlizzie

Catlover777 05-03-2004 11:25 PM

Thin--

Oh,how I would love to see the mountains again--and Denver, too. Hope you are having a wonderful time.

Juggling too many things today. Worked to get presentation ready for this morning--then told it was postponed to tomorrow. Trying to coordinate stuff (insurance, pre-procedure physical, sick leave) tohave procedure on foot.

And I'd better get to bed.

Nita 05-04-2004 09:17 PM

Hi All,
Thin, it's great to hear your return trip is going well. I, too, have been to Denver on many occasions when I lived in Casper, WY. I always found it a pleasant place to go to, especially if you didn't go in the winter. You left Phoenix just in time--it has been over 100 the last couple of days. I sure do miss those cool days we were having not too long ago.

I did manage to bowl yesterday, even though my hand is not completely healed. I really bowled better than I have in a long time--I had a 509 for three games. Today we had our bowling league celebration which, of course, was geared to a lot of food which we all brought. I did have dessert and more than one. I just decided it was okay for one day.

1 Day -- Good luck on your foot procedure! I agree with you--any kind of pain in our bodies just doesn't make one happy!

By chance did anyone get hit with the "Sasser" virus. One of my computers did and it took me most of the day until midnight to finally get it taken care of. I waited on the phone for 30 minutes before I got a tech person from Microsoft, only to find out he was located in the Philipines. I was on my cell phone, and you guessed it, before we had a chance to even get started, I lost the call. In order to avoid frustration, it would be a good idea for you to download the current version of Stinger and save it to your desktop. This way just in case you get this virus, or any other virus, you can run Stinger and it will delete the virus. This is a "free" program.

Well, I had better get going. Tomorrow is my first day at the TV station, and I am getting excited about finding out what it is all about.

Take care,
Anita

Catlover777 05-04-2004 09:46 PM

Nita--
Glad your hand is better. Incidentally, I am the one with the foot procedure (tho Hal has foot problems as well). Sorry about the heat--it's been quite unseasonably cool here (but I don't mind putting off the summer heat).

Looks as tho everything may come together to get my foot worked on--job, insurance, podiatrist, primary care physician etc.

Have slacked off on walking because of foot. Must at least do yoga.

1day@atime 05-05-2004 02:09 PM

Hello Ladies -
Sorry I haven't posted in a few days. I had been walking at lunch & when I get back wasn't able to log on. Last week at Ww I lost 2.2 lbs... hoping to have another loss this week.

Nita - I need to check my pc at home. I have not logged on since thursday. I guess I need to run the antivirus first.

well post more tonight

RE: Over the hump...

Hey everyone... over the hump, two days until our weekend!

I hope this finds everyone doing well. I am doing OK. I put together small snack bags of candy for rewards for testing review groups Monday and Tuesday. I had some rewards too. I am over it, and have no burning desire to cosume chocolate - at the moment.

I was called in at the last minute last evening to serve as a judge for our high school talent show. It was fun, but gosh.. I got home at 10P. Today was only an 11 hour day 7 to 6. I LOVE what I do girls, but the hours are really getting difficult to take. I just come in exhausted.

Tomorrow evening is our annual art show. It is a classy event with classical music, dress up and all. Our art teacher is retiring this year, so I'll be sure to go. I always look forward to it.

CAT: Feet problems are no fun at all. I had a few of those cortisone shots, and to be honest I don't believe they helped at all. Try Birkenstocks. Honestly...

I had another Martha's Vineyard salad for lunch today. I demonstrated apple nut coffee cake for my foods class. They proceeded to make breakfast to go with it. Tomorrow I am demonstrating Kentucky Hot Browns. Bet you guys have never heard of that?

3 more weeks...

OneDay: CONGRATS on 2.2. Way to go.....!!!

I hope everyone is moving and losing... It is not easy. But, we can do it!

1day@atime 05-06-2004 02:05 PM

Hello Ladies,

Need your prayers. Our management is in the process of evaluating our whole group, their is lots of talk about outsourcing.

Hal - I don't see how you do it working with food & especially trying new recipes. I would be so tempted.... As far as working, could you have said no to the judging. You sound like me, never wanting to disappoint anyone.

Hope everyone is having a great day!

Catlover777 05-06-2004 11:28 PM

Iday--WTG on the wt loss. Will pray for the work situation.

Hal--no, what are the KY hot browns? Never heard of that.

Looks like I have the drs & test & time off lined up for my foot--still need the insurance OK. Hope this comes thru!

Realized I have been stressed when I lost my glasses--I always lose things under stress. I think when I can walk more I will handle stress better.

It's been spilling into work, also, and vice-versa.

G'night all

thinlizzie 05-07-2004 10:35 AM

:coffee: Hi Chicks~~Got a minute to post before we leave our condo this morning and head into the city (Denver) to stay at his brothers for a few nights. The week flew by up here in this beautiful area. We did well with the fishing for 2 days, now we can cook them on his brothers grill and everyone can enjoy them. The last 2 days we spent in the Arapaho nat'l forest and we saw a herd of about 50 elk, 1 moose--close too! But i'd left my camera behind on that walk! yikes!!that is my luck. Tho it did stay in the thick pines so it probably wouldn't have really turned out that well. It was exciting..i had heard a branch break and looked in that direction and there he was! I guess it was last years baby, so only a yearling now. But he was big enough~ Then we tried another area yesterday (not in the park) and we saw 2 more moose and i think that picture will show them ok. Then one elk ran in front of our truck, and one coyote. Oh, lots of mule deer too. They run sooo funny. the back legs stay together, so they look like they are hopping on pogo sticks or something! Not like our whitetail deer run at all.

~~1DAY~~i will keep you in my prayers for a good outcome on your job. Always something to keep us on edge isn't there??
CONGRATS on the 2.2# loss. YGG  Stay as focused as you can in these stressing times.

~~CAT~~also a prayer for you to get the ok on the insurance and get something done to help your foot, like you said the walking keeps our stress levels down. I am just like you, losing things (temporarily--really just misplaced) during stress! Had to let you know you are not alone there. :dizzy:
The only thing is up here in the 8 to 10 thousand feet elevation i feel sick when i walk. I know having my health woes are not good in high elevation(high b p) I have been very winded. I hope i feel a bit better in denver.

Hi to all the rest...must go and pack somemore.
Bad news is the truck still has problems. DH is off to see the only local mechanics in this area and HOPE someone can take a look at it before we drive the pass to Denver. If it's something that we can wait on we will wait and find a Ford dealer near his brother. Since he thinks it might have been how they did our brakes in Mesa. It might be covered under that...
So say a prayer for us to have better travels soon~ Esp. when we really start for home on Monday. I hope it's monday anyway :?:

 :grouphug: thinlizzie

Catlover777 05-07-2004 08:47 PM

Thin--that sounds like a wonderful hike. I know that high altitude can be hard--always get so tired up high, but I love the mts.

1day--prayers for the job.

Where is everyone else?

Well, the insurance denied the procedure. There is an appeals process, but probably can't be done in time for we to be on the schedule this month. Phooey!! Maybe some prayers will help???

Nita 05-08-2004 11:42 AM

Catlover,
Sorry to hear your insurance denied the procedure. You must do the appeals process and stress "This procedure is medically necessary." My attorneys always advised me to use these words.

My hand is doing a whole lot better and by Monday I should be able to clean house again. Also, my grass needs cutting. It's amazing how we take our good health for granted and it isn't until something happens that we realize this.

Diet-wise I have done very badly the last couple of days. However, I think I am back on track. I am contemplating taking off July and August and maybe September from doing my one-day a week job. Hopefully during that time they can find someone else. I still will keep my volunteer position of 4 hours, one day a week. I have already talked to John about this and he didn't have a problem with my decision. However, I am a little stressed about talking to Gail, which I will do next Thursday. I plan on working until my vacation, June 2nd to the 15th, and then working the last two weeks in June.

Well, I need to go shopping to the mall. There are certainly a lot of bargains out there.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU!!!!

Anita

Happiest of Mother's Day to each and everyone of you!

mooz49 05-09-2004 02:19 PM

Hi chickies just a quick call on Paul's computer before he heads back to Belfast for the week. All is well here. I sold a painting yesterday at Country Markets which just started in our town yesterday so I am thrilled about that. Eating is going well and I am still walking.

Nita 05-09-2004 03:57 PM

HalGal -- Thanks for the Mother's Day card. Today is not a good day for me because none of my daughters are here. Mother's Day is always stressful for me but only three more weeks and I will get to go back home.

Mooz -- I really needed your words of wisdom today because I have slipped off my plan and I need to get back on track! I did go bowling today but it is way too hot to do the treadmill.

Well I will say goodbye for now -- take care and have a "super" Sunday!

Anita

1day@atime 05-10-2004 02:21 PM

Hello Ladies,

Hope everyone had a Happy Mother's Day. Went over to my sister and ate way to much. This week I will have to work extra hard. Last week I had a .6 gain. I know why too. I did not journal at all. I tried to keep it in my head & of couse, couldn't keep track. This week I am back to journaling.

Nita - I know it is hard to stay on track, especially when you are not motivated, but you had done so well.

Nita 05-11-2004 01:03 PM

Hi Patty:

It looks like it is just you and me. Thanks for your words of wisdom. Yesterday I had to have another tooth pulled--it was abscessed but had not erupted until the dentist went to pull it. As a result I could only have liquids, and I believe that is going to get me back on track.

Tonight I am attending an American Idol viewing party at one of our malls. Also, the new arena, which is 5 minutes from where I live, called me in for an interview this afternoon. This is just a part-time position as a Guest Service Rep. Most of the events are in the evening. I hope I pass the interview process.

Since I couldn't really eat--I made a milkshake with 1 cup of skim milk, one frozen bananna and about 3/4 cup of strawberries and some sweetner. It was so good, I made another one for breakfast today. I do believe one way of sticking to our programs, no matter which one we are following, is to keep it interesting. We need to take the time to try different foods and not just eat the same thing every day.

Hopefully the rest of you ladies are busy and will post when you get a chance.

Take care,
Anita

1day@atime 05-12-2004 01:48 PM

Hello Ladies,
Just got back from my walking. This is twice i've walked today..I am hoping to show a loss this week to make up for my small gain last week. I am still having a hard time with the water. I am drinking about 6 cups a day & 1 diet drink, by Ww standards i'm drinking enough, but I'm trying to get in 8 cups.

Nita - Ouch... i can just feel your pain. I do not like going to the dentist. Your right though, since your only drinking that is one way to get back on track. I am trying a new recipe, or a new food each week. I always get in a rut and eat the same foods. So my promise to myself is to try something new. It may not be new to all but for me it is. This week I have been eating vanilla yogurt 1 cup (3pts) and adding 3/4 cups of Kashi go lean to it. It makes a tasty breakfast that has lots of protein. Last week I tried boiled summer squash & zucinnie & instead of grilling it, then I topped it off with pinch of shredded cheese...

Hope everyone is having a great day!

Keep me in your prayers, we're suppose to know something next week 5/18 about our job situation...

Bumping us up a bit girls. I hope everyone is doing well. I am just fine. Counting the days! Diet is good, and thus I feel good. I love the new low carb tortillas. Anyone else using these. Now to walk and exercise.

1day@atime 05-12-2004 10:01 PM

Evening Ladies,

Hal - I haven't tried them yet are they good? I started back on Weight Watchers & i'm trying to somewhat stay away from carbs, other than veggies & fruits. I'm limiting my fruits to just apples, pears & maybe every 3rd day a banana. Eating lots of veggies though... cucumbers, squash. etc.

1day@atime 05-14-2004 06:16 PM

Hello Ladies,
Had a really good day today. Stayed OP and even drank my water. Tomorrow is my weigh in so hopefully I'll have a loss.

Hope everyone is doing ok... Hope to hear from you all soon.

mooz49 05-15-2004 05:33 AM

Hi there chickies - just a quick call fron the library. I have still not go a computer that I can use with the internet.............. hopefully soon I will.
I still have not lost any more weight but I am walking most days so I feel I am doing a bit to get fit.
It is a beautiful sunny day here today and that make me feel good.
Have a great Saturday all.

Catlover777 05-15-2004 12:13 PM

Hi, Chicks. Took forever to get puter back on line. We called the cable company, and they kept saying it should be working, and it did work for other people in the family but not for me. Anyway, hope it's fixed now.

Done pretty well on the fruit/veg goal, and think it makes me feel better. (Good for the arthritis.)

Not time to catch up on everyone, but hope you are all doing well. Mooz--WTG on selling the painting. I got the proof on my poetry book, and was so excited. Will let you know when it's published.

Back to work.

mooz49 05-16-2004 09:10 AM

I was at Orla's leaving mass during the week and one of the parents, who is also a teacher at the school read out "Reflections of a Parent" It was very moving especially as his voice got very emotional at the end and he could only whisper the last two lines. I thought I would share it with you ………..

REFLECTIONS of a PARENT.

I gave you life, but I cannot live it for you.
I can give you directions, but I cannot be there to lead you.
I can take you to Church, but I cannot make you believe.
I can teach you right from wrong, but I cannot always decide for you
I can buy you beautiful clothes, but can't make you beautiful inside.
I can offer you advice, but cannot accept it for you.
I can give you love, but I cannot force it upon you.
I can teach you to share, but I cannot make you unselfish.
I can teach you respect, but I cannot force you to show honour.
I can advise you about friends, but cannot choose them for you.
I can advise you about sex, but I cannot keep you pure.
I can tell you about alcohol & drugs, but I can't say "No" for you.
I can tell you about lofty goals, but I can't achieve them for you.
I can teach you about kindness, but I can't force you to be gracious.
I can pray for you, but I cannot make you walk with God.
I can tell you how to live, but I cannot give you eternal life.
I can love you with unconditional love all of my life
……………..and I will. !!!

Nita 05-16-2004 01:49 PM

Hi All,

Another hot day in Phoenix, but I am overjoyed with life. Although some unpleasant things have happend on the whole life is good! I am not sure I told everyone but I did get the position at the Arena. It doesn't pay a whole lot --$6.50 and a 50 cent raise after 90 days--however, I believe it will be an exciting thing to do. I will get to meet a whole lot of different people and see hockey games. I am not really a hockey fan but who knows, I can always become one. Dietwise, I am not doing too bad and I feel good that it has been over 1-1/2 years that I have kept off 50 lbs. I most definitely would like to take off at least another 10 but if it doesn't happen, I am not going to beat myself up. Perhaps when I start my new job that will give me more exercise.

Yesterday I entertained my friends who are vegetarians and I served veggies wrapped in whole wheat tortillas. My husband is great about making the wraps just right. What I did was saute onions, celery, yellow and red peppers and cooked them until they were thoroughly cooked. I then added milk salsa and my friends said they were very good. I also made a large salad with all of the veggies I had cooked and added carrots, broccoli and some peacans.

Mooz, I live the saying at the bottom of your message--it is a very true statement. Since we are only human it's very easy to slip up, however, by getting back on track asap we eventually will attain whatever goal we want!

Take care all and have a "super" day!
Anita

Nita 05-16-2004 01:51 PM

Sorry everyone I see I made an error in my recipe. It was mild salsa that I added and not "milk".

RE: 101 Ways... To Inspire....!!!

http://www.imgag.com/product/full/ap/3043593/title.jpg

Greetings Movers and Losers...!!

I trust everyone had a wonderful weekend! I was glued to the book, "Passing For Thin". While it falters, is a tad on the poetic and difficult to follow at times side - the story is riveting. I have about 40 pages left to turn, and have a feeling after my shower, I'll read until I am ready to sleep.

This is the last full week of classes. Another year has yet rolled by us. Final exams begin on Friday and wrap up the following Tuesday - which is the last day for students.

My diet is good. Something about spring/summer time just makes it easeir to stay OP. I made tuna salad this evening, and have a new package of the Mission low carb tortiallas, some cherry tomatoes and black grapes to snack on. The grapes are sweet and mostly seedless. I added some celery and sweet onion to the tuna salad.

Do you know the girl in the book I am reading lost 188 pounds and did not begin exercising until after this point? I just got to that part... like I said parts of the book are vague and it is difficult to follow. I guess that is why I want to finish it so I can get the big picture. She joined Overeaters Annoynmous.

Have a great OP week everyone... Congrats Nita on the new job, Mooz thanks for the writing you posted... hugs and good thoughts to all!!!

Nita 05-17-2004 11:50 AM

Halgal,

Thanks for getting into the book. I, myself, found it very difficult reading and sort of put it aside for another time. I also remember when I joined WW back in the early 70's they advised us to exercise when we got to within 10 lbs. of our goal. I agree exercise is great, however, the weight comes off a lot slower. I remember one time at WW I got down to my lowest weight--108 lbs.--at 5 feet and only 35 this was okay. I really didn't exercise during my weight loss except to go bowling and walking. Back then we didn't have all this exercise equipment available and if it was available, I was not in a position to buy it.

I hope everyone else is looking forward to a very "special" week!

Take care,
Anita

Hello Ladies,

I had a 1.4 weight loss this past week. That put me about 6.8 lbs so far. Feeling real good about that. This week I am going to increase my exercise.

Mooz - What a beautiful poem, thanks for sharing it with us.

Nita - Congrats on the job. I'm sure you will get lots of steps with walking around the stadium. I'm with you, I'm not much of a hockey fan, but i'm sure you'll get into once the games start.

Hal - I agree with you, it's much easier to diet in the spring. I think there are so many veggies & fruits to chose from at this time. I can't believe that the school year is almost over.

Hope everyone is having a great day!

Need Prayers

Tomorrow there is a big meeting here at work. We are hoping that we will know something. We have a new CEO, and he has been making all kinds of changes, he has sold parts of the company, and has said to expect a layoff of 1200 or so employees. The talk in our group is layoffs within our group, but also outsourcing.

So my prayer is that God give me the strength to accept whatever comes my way. I have been with this company for 24 years and they have been good years. I'm trying to keep everying in perspective, I have my health, my family, my chick friends, my chuch, a nice home.

So say a prayer for me...

Hi Patty,

I most definitely will remember you tomorrow.

1 Day -- CONGRATULATIONS on your weight loss. I am very proud of you. I have been having some difficulty with my lower denture since I had another tooth pulled last Monday. As a result I have not been able to eat normal, especially when it comes to salads. I am going to my denture person tomorrow so hopefully he will be able to fix the problem. I did go bowling today and didn't do too badly.

Take care and my best to everyone!
Anita

Also, did I tell everyone I actually got the proof for my poetry book? It really looks great. I can hardly wait until it comes out.

Nita--hope you're feeling better. 1day--prayers for the job. Hi everyone else.
