I'm back on track! - I recently got "The Firm" videos in the mail and started to try them out. I like the Cardio one so far, did the jiggle free abs too, was okay. I don't have their "transfermer" but I use a regular stepboard.
I've been OP since saturday, I even had 6 points left yesterday :p
Probably will do Tae-bo and jiggle free arms today.. :)
So where is everyone??

Good morning!

Had a busy weekend with work and church! IT rained here all weekend, and I did not have a chance to get on the computer. Hugs to all!

Happy Monday.

WTG Jiggly...back on track, I think I am finally back on track too! I have been reading the Sonoma diet book. It sounds similar to South Beach only a bit better. I started that this morning.

Been down with a chest cold all weekend. Didn't get to work OT on Sunday. Probably needed the rest more.

DS went to prom, all went well. He looked so handsome.

Hello to everyone.

Stay focused.

Annie

It's been awhile since my last entry. Truth be told I was just tired of the journey for awhile. But I didn't just through caution to the wind. I just sort of got quiet about it for awhile.

I am back to 256 lb (after a scary week of being 258!). I'm walking routinely again and I've gone back to the weight room. I'm also packing my lunch and I'm reading labels and thinking about things before I eat them. Sort of back to the basics.

I'm training my job replacement and looking forward to getting her trained so I can start in my new position (with my new salary!).

It's May 1st, and I want to set some goals and desires for the month

Desire # 1: To loose a pound a week: Goal to get there: Stay within point range, work out 4-5 days a week for 1 hour, doing both cardio and muscle building.

Desire #2: To save $50 this month ( to get back into the saving habit). Goal to get there: Have a Budget meeting with hubby Tuesday night so that we are on the same page and then each paycheck this month put in $12.50 to savings.

Desire # 3: Have daily relaxation time: Goal to get there: Put it on my daily calendar, start with 15 min. During this time I will lay in a quiet space and focus on relaxing my body and clearing my mind through breathing and prayer.

Ok..there it is. I so want to be in control of the person that I want to be and in order to be that I need to see where I want to be.

The person I want to be at the end of May is: A relaxed individual who is feeling confident with herself because she has stuck to a plan and has her weight loss goal on track as well as her money.

Susie, you can do this, and I want to go along on your journey also.

Hey everyone,
I had a fair w-end. We went to the flea market and walked for a couple of hours.
I been eating fair. I didn't make it to curves today, but I did make it to curves 3x for 2 week in a row. :carrot:
I'm so glad everyone is doing well. I'll try to do personals later.

:grouphug: Later my friends :dust:

Did tae bo yesterday, I really felt that I worked out afterwards, also did some arm toning. Stayed OP, had 4 pts left :D
Feeling good about this week, hopefully will lose that 1.5 lbs that I gained back last week. Must stay focused! :yoga:

annie: Hope you feel better soon
miafluker: Good luck with your diet!
Susie: I share your Desires #1 and #2, need to do a bit of saving myself. And I do want to lose at least 1 lbs a week, I do 1 hr of exercise x 5 a week too :)
Debbie: love to walk in markets, yay for curves :carrot:

Yesterday was a little iffy! I was so tired in the morning, that I really did not do anything, but I did go to the gym in the aft with DH, adn I think I have finally figured it out. I was using the treadmill for my cardio, but I don't think I was doing very well. Yesterday I stared on the treadmill, but my ankle was bothering me, so I decided to try the stationary bike. I got a better work out on there than I ever did on the treadmill. So I think I am going to try mixing the two so that I get a more effective cardio work out. I felt great yesterday when we left!!

Feeling a bit better today. Took Nyquil last night and still trying to wake up yet this morning. Just wanted to keep on sleeping on this rainy Tuesday morning.

Stayed OP yesterday and so far today. Not much exercise as I am trying to take it easy for a few days to give my body a rest.

I think I am going to buy a cheap bicycle with a basket of some sort so Miss Belle (my doggie) and I can go for a ride. She can walk/run most of the way but her short little legs can't keep up. She just sits down and looks at me, like this is all I am doing, deal with it. LOL

Not much else going on. Have a marvy day ladies.

(((HUGS)))

annie175 05-03-2006 12:12 PM

Hello Everyone....

Welcome to the race Reagan. This place is wonderful.

I have stayed OP for 3 days in a row. Yeah me!! I am shooting for a 1 lb or more loss this week. If I make small goals, it seem easier to me. Or at least attainable. That way if it is more, it is a plus.

Hollister - where ya been babe? Everything OK?? Feeling ok? Kids haven't got you tied up?

Susie - How you doing with your new Wish list?? I am rootin' for US!

Ellen - Hang in there!

Debbie - Great job on making it to Curves!

Jiggly - How do you like the Tae Bo?

Mia - how's the new approach to WL going?

DewCan - thanks for the cheer, how ya doing?

Hafta take my DS to hand specialist for check up this afternoon. He is doing remarkably great.

Have a wonderful afternoon.

(((HUGS)))

Ladies!! It souns like everyone is doing great!! I am definitly hanging in there (it is my catch phase :) ) I have been OP all week, so Now I just have to wait for the scale to show some improvement. It is very frustrating to stay the same all the time, no matter what I am doing. There are always some days when I think "why am I doing this? It doesn't matter what I am doing I am always going to be big.." BUt I know that I have been feeling better, and can't let my allergies talk me out of doing this. I am looking forward to going to the gym this afternoon, adn I can't wait to see how I do with the cycle. I am hoping that this is the change that will help me see a loss on the scale!!!

Have a great day!!! and I am thinking of all of you!!!

MyChoice2bfit 05-03-2006 02:38 PM

Hello All,
I wanted to do a quick check in. I've been doing ok with things. My points are at their limit each day but they aren't over. I had a great workout last night and I'm sitting down to pay bills tonight (I get paid tomorrow) and I'm writing one to my Savings so I will keep with my Goals and Desires.

How's everyone else doing today? Welcome :welcome3: to reagan!

Got to get back to work.
Susie
