Thanks for the support b/c that girl of mine is definitely one lucky girl, this guy and girlfriend of his never told anyone that they were dealing in drugs, this SOB had over 50,000 worth of drugs there. Cara would never had been there if she knew that he even remotely had anything to do with it. She has definitely had a wake up call to be more aware of her surroundings. I have told her about guilt by association and these cops gave her a break. I have just been so out of sorts b/c this is something that she knows that we are so highly against and seeing how her cousin was hit by drunk driving and others in the family who have had problems with drinking and drugs. Geez you can't be with them all the time but i told she would never have to worry about going to jail b/c i will put her out of her misery myself. Her dad just hardly said to words except to blowup a little he believes that since she wasn't involved that hopefully she has learned a hard lesson. This is such a hard thing to swallow b/c i feel that i have not done something right in parenting her and deep down i know she is a wonderful girl but then i have to say my trust level is extremely low right now.
So i hope next week is or will look up.

Sherry - To answer your question, I'm not trying to "lose weight" per se, but rather trying to keep my sanity where food is concerned. I have 'fessed up to the fact that I am a compulsive overeater. I'm working the OA steps and have an OA sponsor...I don't attend face-to-face meetings because there aren't many in my area. (It's not like AA, where you can pretty much find a meeting on every corner.) I haven't binged or eaten sweets (candy, pie, cake, cheesecake, etc.etc.) since December 21. I have lost about ten pounds altogether, but I'm most happy about my sanity returning.
Vickster, it will get better, I promise. Cara learned a lesson, like you said, to be more aware of her surroundings and the people she associates with. Is her boyfriend still living with you guys? I know things will work out, your a good mom and a good person, don't think that you did anything to bring this on.
Dee, glad your back home with enough "dicking" around time to come post to your friends. I'll have to tell Steve about your snow golfing, if it includes booze, he'll think it's great. LOL! It sounds like fun!!! MISSED YOU! Glad mom's better and your back!

Vicki, everything is going to be ok. Cara was at the wrong place and she didn't even know it. Fortunately for her she didn't get in trouble with the law. A hard lesson learned. This just might be a good thing.
Jennelle I am glad that you are feeling better about yourself. Ten pounds gone that is great. Keep it up or should I say down.
Sherry you work to hard at cleanning the house but I guess when you work full time and have a part time job all you have left to do the housework is the weekend. I like a reaaly clean house too. I don't know how I would do it if I was working full time. Hats off to you girl.

He just laughed and said neither do we, It is dickering around! Oh my god I just laughed and told him it sounds so much like dicking around I never noticed and nobody told me any different when I said it. I stand corrected........hey but it was fun for a laugh that I didn't even know that I would get.

Vicki, I know you and Cara were both terrified. She is indeed a lucky young lady. Just being in the same location with all of those drugs could have landed her in prison with a felony conviction. I'm sure she'll choose her companions very wisely in the future!

Ramona I saw William Hung on some celebrity gossip show. He has been getting all kinds of calls. He has sung at ball games and been on talk shows. He has been offered a record deal with $25,000 up front. They said the are comparing his quirky style to Tiny Tims. Boy did he luck up. And Yes I will be watching tonight.
