Default Feeling depressed. WHAAAAAAAA!!!!!

Oh girls, I am feeling so depressed right now. I thought it might help to whine a little and get some of it out.
I found out I am out of unemployment benefits this week, so I am out of money and I was trying to at least make it until the end of this term of school before finding a job or two. Now I am in a mad rush to find something to not be in the poor house
My car is having problems and now I have no money to find out what is wrong with it.
I was getting all into the scrap book thing with Marti and now I cannot keep going with my page ideas and now I am left with a list of page ideas and imagination galore and nothing to do with it.
To top of everything I am going through, I had to go out today to replace the jeans I split ( laugh, go ahead!!! ) and i had to get a bigger size. A size that I have not been in about two years. I almost cried in the dressing room. If I didn't have to go to another store before going home I would have lost it in the car. WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry about letting that out, but I feel a little better whining for a bit. Of course the migraines I have been getting in the past four days are not lessening. Which is too bad. On the plus side , they don't make me want to eat anything, so I can possible lose weight from stress and pain. Which seems to be my pattern. I got sooooo skinny after my ex-husband left, that my mom kept coming over and forcing food down my throat. But, I digress.....
Anywho, I have whined and cried and now everyone knows how I am doing at the moment. I think I need a huge platter of my favorite shooters. And then a couple rounds of apple martini's , followed by two lava flow drinks.
Well, I better stop before I bring everyone down.

Jana: It is so nice to hear that someone is succeeding in the weight loss department. I feel so proud of you and I don't even know you that well.

Mom2Gaby: You need to hound Marti and I and get us up there to visit. We both need a day off from this stuff going on down here. I am also going to be sending in an application to the Extreme Make-over show. Do you want me to put your name down too??? I still have to make a video, so i better get my but in gear, but I have pretty much filled out the novel they call a application.Glad you enjoyed my bio, I am usually a pretty funny, goofy gal, but from reading this latest post, most people will be fooled. I guess we all have our bad days.

Cristi: I have been using some stickers in my scrapbooking that I finished and I love them. They sometimes pull a page together and fill in empty spaces. I have been a sticker addict for a long time. My whole life in fact. I really love the really fancy ones with texture and such. LOVE THEM!!!!

Well, I better let go of this novel I am writing and get back to depression, comfy pants city. Better known as my bedroom. Maybe one of babies ( spoiled to death cute kitties) will come keep me warm and comfort me.

Angry

Jana~ WTG on the new jeans. I know you will be in them in no time at all. I don't care who sings When a Man Loves A Woman. Of course I have only heard Percy Sledge and Michael Bolton sing it. I LOVE that song! I think that is so sweet, you and Neal stopping to dance. DH won't and doesn't like to dance, of course we would look silly because I am 5'6" and he is 6'4", even though I am big I look small next to him-I like that.

Susan~been there, done that. We renewed our vows on our 2nd anniversary. We wanted to do something special because we didn't celebrate our 1st. Well, we did eat the top from our wedding cake and had some champagne but that was it. Glad you guys enjoyed the birthday party.

Shanna~hey, don't worry about writing a novel. We all have to get it out sometimes. Sorry you are having such a bad day/week, I wish there was something I could do. Just know that we are here for you. I know you will find a job soon. I am sending some goodvibes yuor way. : I sure hope you get rid of those migraines. I get one every now and then and know exactly how you feel. I have to go in the bedroom where it is cold, close the blinds and lay down with an ice pack on my head. There is no aspirin or pain pill that will get rid of them. I feel for you.

Angie~yep, tomorrow is painting day, actually in the evening. It will probably be about 6 pm before we get started. I am hoping to get quite a bit done in 5 hours, not sure though.

Well, I have got to go put a load of laundry in the dryer and need to do a couple of things before turning in early. Going to be a long day tomorrow. See ya ladies

Default Dang Girls!

I only had a million posts to wade through since I posted yesterday! Y'all act like y'all ain't got nothing better to do than sit here typing awa..... wait a minute.... guess that's what I'm doing.

Shanna- O.k. girlie! Ya gotta get a game plan going! Let's see... car... do you know any guys from school that can take a look at it for you? I know I got a couple of flat tires fixed and one free engine fix in college by standing really pitiful looking with a tire iron and a glazed look in my eyes beside my car. (Ya gotta have the glazed look though or it won't work- guys either think they can really impress you and get a quick lay by fixing something you're too dumb to do OR they think you're half drunk and they may get a quick lay if they hurry up and fix your car. ) *teasing* Seriously, what kind of problems is it having? I can ask DH what he thinks. (This comes from a woman who hears an engine noise and cranks up the radio. Hey if it's still moving, it's fine- that's my motto. LOL ) If it's something that absolutely has to be fixed, do you have a vo-tech nearby that teaches auto mechanics? They usually do it cheaper and the instructor supervises the process.

Can you get an extension on unemployment? I think we're just gonna have to add the job and migranes to the prayer list. Sorry about the jeans. I know we had a hoot out of "the split", but it's tough to go up a size. If it helps any, the only jeans I wear.... well, I'm at the end of the road. If I go up another size.... well... there's not another size. Great! Now I'm depressed! WAAAAAAAAA!!! *teasing* And don't you DARE drink! When someone's upset, they tend to drink more. And believe me, you don't need a hangover on top of those migranes! Besides, I just know that you'll get called in for a job interview in the next few days. Staggering walks and bloodshot eyes aren't exactly known for impressing possible employers. I'm sending some good vibes and prayers your way.

Marti- We had a house fire 2 years ago. We lost almost everything. But we built this beautiful house and I am grateful that my family was safe and sound.

Cristi- Taping everything off is the biggest time consumer in painting. I hated that with a passion but it HAS to be done. *sigh* Well, if we're all gonna tell our songs, I might as well tell y'all mine. Tim was 18 and had just quit school. I was 24. We dated less than a month then tied the knot over Thanksgiving break without really telling any friends- just a small church ceremony for my parents and his brother's family. EVERYONE in the community watched me for months swearing up and down that I MUST be preggers. Everytime we turned on the radio, that country song "Let's Give Them Something To Talk About" was playing soooo.... Yep! That's our song!

Susan- Happy Birthday to Gaby! Vallory likes Clifford too. (Better than the Teletubbies )

Angie- I would definitely make sure the kid knew that I had been talking to the cops. I think that helped Landon when he got sucker-punched because I told everyone within 25 miles that the principal barely calmed me down enough to talk me out of filing assault charges. (Not quite true, but hey, I figured it would make him think before doing it again.) I do think that he will eventually get into something he didn't bargain for. Just be glad that your son doesn't hang with him. I hope your soap turns out well. The sites I checked said to let it dry about a week before using it, but I think I'm gonna sneak some in the bath tomorrow morning. The next time, I am gonna try blue cornmeal- I bet that would be pretty. I am also going to try a batch, and instead of goat's milk, I'm going to try leftover coffee! Seriously!

Jana- Keep talking about butter and I'm gonna have to go and get me some crablegs for dinner tomorrow night. LOL Salads were the reason I couldn't stick to low carb!

Hey to everyon else! (Nah, Nah, Nah, Nah, Nah My post was longer than yours Shanna! )

Hello girls--

Finally have some computer time...I know....bizarre that I haven't isn't it! I've been poppin in every now and then but haven't had a chance to post....but here I am now.

Did I see Kat posting on the meeting thread???? And she didn't post in the Chitchat??!! Get over here girl!! Tell us how you've been doing. I will keep my fingers crossed that you get that dream job.

Susan--A big Happy Birthday to you little one!! I bet she (and you)had lots of fun.

Jana--You are getting me all envious girl!! Congrats on the smaller size jeans. You will surpass those in no time!!

Cristi--You found a very pretty house!! I didn't realize you had so much snow there! Did you take those today? Be careful driving in it!!

Angie--What you need are surveillance camera's!! Catch the boogers red handed alibi or no alibi!!!

Kayecee--Soap that has to sit a whole week?? Wow. I used the soap James made the same night. But of coarse,,, he just did the simple glycerin soap. And you're grating it? We just cut it up into cubes.....No excuses from your family now.....must keep hands CLEAN-CLEAN-CLEAN!!

Shanna--I so understand how you're feeling...even though I'm not quite in your shoes though. This extension thing is extremely stressful. No one wants to give you answers until the last minute when you're scrapping for pennies to buy toilet paper!!! And please....not ever feel bad about writing a novel and letting it out...these ladies have probably heard more than they want from me....here and through e-mail!! (sorry ladies) but this is a "support" site...no matter what kind of support you need. Sending you big hugs!!

I was going to weigh myself this morning then chose not to...TOM decided to pay a visit and I just didn't feel like getting on that scale and getting all upset. So next Monday I will. (Acronym for Time Of Month...susan)
Did a couple of pages in Jhanai's scrapbook today. Very bright pink in one!! But it's cute....and and a dog page. She stamped paw prints up the center of the page. She's so creative. I let her do the writing for her entries....I've offered to print it out on the computer but she wanted to write if out. Plus....years from now...I will be happy that she wanted to do it herself.
I've also done a page with just James....and by far it is my favorite. I'm not sure why though....he was sandboarding and I chose sand colors for the background then I cut out strands of grass to lay out over it all to mimic the grass in the photos....I was going to take a photo but I'm sure you're getting tired of seeing them.....maybe when I get more done, the I'll post. Change out the old bring in the new....

Ok...I think I'm going to go and veg on the couch. A great way to lose weight eh?? You all take care and I will yap at you all tomorrow.

Shanna, Oh man I hate when reality comes and bites you in the butt. I would contact the unemployment office and explain that you are in school trying to educate yourself so you are employable.
I would do exactly what Kaycee said,,,but first what kind of noises or is it leaking...not that I know a whole lot about cars I kinda have been throu every time of car problem there is and can tell you by the sound or color of liquid what the problem is.
Jana,,,I love that song too....*sigh how romantic. Monte and I were dating when that song,,I wanna be a Cowboy was first out. We joke that its our song ,,it really isn't. For our wedding we had Unchained Melody. Goose bumps every time I hear it. And yes we dance to it if ever its played and we are able to dance.

Cristi,,,I don't like the taping or cleanup of painting...putting furniture back...*shudder I will paint anything if I don't have to clean it. In Sylvan I was considered a local artist....yup I got paid to paint. I painted tropical fish on the fire hydrants in the downtown area...lol I was then asked to paint a Fiesta theme on a fence,,,and then called back to paint some huge flower pots with flowers. I didn't get rich but had a good laugh the whole time. I don't think I can tell this story without laughing,,,the gist of the story is I sat on some green OIL base paint...a film canister to be exact. And well it seeped throu my pants. I used this ice cream shop's bathroom to check myself out,,,and I couldn't see and I stood on toilet and well fell in. But I did see the green paint in the crack of my.... So after I pulled myself out of that mess I went outside where my cousin was and she took one look at my face and completely lost it...lol I mean she was laying on the sidewalk laughing/crying. I went home,,,cancelled my yearly physical....lol And waited till the paint wore off...was not going to put paint thinner there!
Kaycee I have never made soap but am interested in trying it out.

Happy Birthday to Gabby its just after 11 pm so She is officially 2 years old! YAY!!

well off to bed I go...after yet again disclosing another embarrassing moment in my life...*sigh so many,,,too many to count.
Angie
