Brrrr! Still cold here- only 35 degrees today. O.k.- o.k.- I know that Marti would probably love to see it that warm. I saw Oregon on the weather tonight and geesh y'all got hit good. Hope y'all are o.k. Has anyone else been hit hard? No snow here yet- except for a couple of spits here and there today.
Marti-

I confess- I had done the math- I knew that you said you got pregnant your senior year and you were 33 so I wondered how Jhanai got to be 14 or so!

I thought that you had said she was younger than Landon and he's 10. I wasn't going to pry.

I have a hotmail account but I didn't realize you had to download a messenger account seperately. I'll do that in a minute. My messenger name will be the same as my e-mail address, right?

If that's true, you can add me to your friend's list. How did school go today? Any powerpoint questions yet? Tim still ain't working, so I need some grocery money.
Cristi- LOL You should get a huge frame and put one of your t-shirts and a picture of you wearing it inside and hang it on the wall. This may sound silly, but one thing that I was really sad about losing in our fire was my two Milli-Vanilli t-shirts!

Anybody love Milli-Vanilli?

I finally discovered how well dresses camouflage everything and have bought about 20 since spring. I usually wear the ones with jackets. Again, Cato's is a life-saver. I have a lot of nice dresses, but usually only spend $10-20 on the clearance racks.

I hate the fact that stirrup pants have gone out of style. I loved the black ones. They really helped to slim my legs and I could usually find them for $3-5 at Cato's. The nice thing about being heavy- if you gain or lose 5-10 pounds, you can usually get away with wearing the same size.

So even if it's on clearance near the end of the season, you know that you'll still probably be able to wear it next year. Now, if you're skinny and gain or lose the same 5-10 pounds, you have to buy a whole new wardrobe. Gee, I'm lucky.
Jana- Uh... who's Bob Dillon?

OMG I remember my sister was into the hippy thang. She wasn't anti-drug though. I'll never forget complaining to my mom that she was sooooo nasty- she's pulling weeds up near the house and smoking it. Ewwwwww! LOL Of course, as I got older, I realized that that icky "grass" that daddy mowed was quite different than the stuff she was smoking. (Just so y'all know- She was spending the summer with dad who was divorced from her mom- my parents had a hissy-fit and after a huge fight she went back to her mom's in Kansas. They definitely will not have any drugs anywhere near them and to this day, I'm still surprised that one of them didn't have a stroke!

) I'm glad you got my PM. The Flowers idea sounds good. I had wondered if you would get completely sick of Blue's Clues. I know how putrid Barney was to me by the time I got Landon old enough to like something else.

You can still use it for a playroom. A nice cedar chest or wicker baskets can hide the toys when the kids aren't there. And then you can add a big fluffy chair to read. So it can be kiddy yet an adult hide-out. Do they have toy chests that match the decor? I haven't seen the pattern, but I have a friend that put up a chair rail in her kid's playroom. Then below rail, they used different colors to stamp their hand-prints all around the room. It was soooo adorable. Another friend used chalk board paint on the door and the kids loved it.
Where is everyone else?!?!? I hope we haven't lost some of you. I know it may be a little hassle signing up again if you were newer, but hopefully, it won't happen again. Come back! See y'all later!
