Hi guys,
Didn't mean to stay away so long, but when Christmastime came and all the kids were here between the Air Force ones, Tracy and Alan and still living at home son, Dan I didn't get a chance to get on the computer really cause they all HOGGED the computer and I just said the heck with it. PLUS I was really just enjoying my visit with all of them and my Dad, from Michigan and was hanging with him and everyone else and just got busy that's all.
So decided to post something to let you guys know I am still around and have been reading everythiing whenever I get a chance. The holidays were great, Tracy was here for 3 weeks, Alan for 3 weeks and my Dad stayed 2 weeks as well. I miss everyone but I sure was a busy bee with all the commotion. I just cooked up a storm and we were going all the time too. So happy that the holidays are over and loved having a house full of company, but it is nice when it is a little been more quite around the house. LOL
I have also went back to work at H & R Block at the beginning of January and have been working so much lately. Been putting in around 40 hours a week and they have all new receptionists this year and I am the only one who knows how to do everything and I have been training all of them so they need me to be there till they learn the ropes, after all this is my 7th year and I hope I know how things run by now. LOL
Also I am going to go to Los Angeles, California in a couple of weeks, from Feb 15th to the 28th for training for my other job, Early Childhood Educational Studies I do in the elementary schools in Indianapolis, accessing the children again. So I will be doing 2 jobs again and will be going all the time even more. I will have to cut back on H & R Block but by that time we will be slowing down hopefully. I decided that since they will be sending I might as well add some more time and see my Dad's family, the relatives in Los Angeles area, the Aunts, Uncles and Cousins ect. Than while I am at it, I should see my Air Force son, Alan stationed a few hours away in Lompac too. He will be going to Iraq in April for up to 6 months so I really need to see him before he goes and since we have never been to his base, Vandenburg I know he would want me to come and spend some time with him so I have extended it another week for that. I can't wait either to go.
So how goes everything with all you Thinsters? Great I hope.
CJ-Hi there, miss you lots and lots. Just saw your email today and see congratulations are in order for your new great grandson. Now I know you probably mentioned it to me, but who is the mother? Is it Dawns daughter? Or do I have it wrong. I am tryiing to think which grandaughter is old enough out of them. Sounds like you are a busy lady yourself, getting ready to sell the house and move to the cabin. You are doing great again on your low carb plan and I am glad that you are doing so well and getting back on track. I know when Ken and came to visit you guys this past summer you did soooo well and I don't know how you did it cause I sure didn't lose anything that week like you did. But you know me and low carb, just can't seem to give up that pasta, potatoes and bread. Too hungry without a bit of it at least. But I envy the way you stuck to it, even scrapping the topping off the pizza and I just had to have the crust. Keep up the good work, you will get to where you want to be yet. When I get a minute I will answer your email to me.
Keanie-Welcome to our wonderful group. Glad to have you join us, you will love us, we are small but mighty group who is always there to support, encourage and motivate each other. I really do give you credit for losing that initial 45 pounds and don't worry about what happened during Christmas and the funeral, that's water under the bridge and the point is that you lost that weight. You had a minor setback and you will get there again if you just take it day by day and do what you can exercisewise and everything else. Just do what you can with the exercise and anything is better than nothing, even if it isn't daily just do what you can do for your situation. Just the fact that you are eating healthier counts for so much as well. Keep up the good work and stick with us and we will help you along the way. Thanks for joining our group!
Desiree-Gosh I am sorry about your husbands job situation, but am glad that you were able to go back to work to help out till things get better for your family financially. Things will get better for your and yours, just have hope and faith and that will get you through the tough times.
Sylvia-So sorry the little guys is sick, that is always so hard when they feel so bad. You feel for them and wish you could trade places with them and take away what they are going through. Teething is bad enough and than with him getting sick on top of it I feel for him and yourself too. All you can do is be there for him like mommies do. Let us know how things are going when you post. Here is a much needed hug for you!

Well guys better get off here and go downstairs to exercise. I forgot I have been doing pretty well weight wise. For the 1st time in a long time I actually had lost 3 1/2 pounds between Thanksgiving through New Years. So that is a first for me, now I am down 30 pounds and I am trying to keep up the pace through eating healthy, drinking my water and exercising almost everyday.
Take care guys and talk to you soon.
Love you, Sharon
