Here I go again

Hi everyone here I am back again! This is like my ump teenth time back on WW and could really use a buddy to help me through this. I am on my first week!

This time I am more comitted then ever before I know that this time I am going to stay in the game and lose this weight forever.

I am a 35 year old and need to lose 40 lbs or maybe a bit more not sure yet till I get to that point and see where to go from there. I am married to the most wonderful man on earth and we have 16 year old son.

Anyone interested in being my buddy I have lots of determination and spunk!!!

Michelle

luckycharm 10-09-2003 09:21 PM

Hi Michelle

Now is a good time to be back with all that determination. Maybe a little can rub off on me. I am 34 and am trying to start with losing just 1 pound, but in the long term need to lose 50 or 60.

If you want more than just one buddy, I also post on jolly's motivation and challenge and also on Accountable Sabatours where we post our goals and win points for achieving our goals and make rewards for ourselves.

Look foreward to chatting with you either here or there.

Kathy

Sassycat 10-10-2003 12:20 PM

Hello

Hi Kathy! You are looking at it from a good point of view 1 lb at a time that is a good idea!

I will have to check out those other threads are they in the buddy up forum?

This time around I just feel much better about myself and much more motivated so I know I can do this, this time!!!!

Michelle

luckycharm 10-10-2003 02:01 PM

Hi Michelle,

Yes those are in the buddy up forum.

Are you on the weight watchers diet? I have the cookbook from 20 years ago and was thinking I should go through it and maybe try a little from it.

Thats great being so motivated. Thats what I need. But instead I think I get depressed and down on myself. What is your secret?

Look foreward to hearing from you.

Kathy

Sassycat 10-11-2003 05:56 PM

Saturday evening!

Hi Kathy! Well I haven't had time to look for those threads but I will get there eventually.

Yes I am on WW I am doing the online one, I don't have time for the meetings and I like being able to access the online journal and the recipe builder.

I have several WW cookbooks but I think I use more of the JoAnna Lund recipes because my family seems to like those recipes more then the WW ones.

My motivation and determination------------->There isn't much I can control in my life and what goes into my mouth is the ONE constant that I can control and by gosh I am going to do it!!!!!!

I have been OP for 6 days now and am quite proud of myself tomorrow is WI for me so we shall see what I have accomplished with my new outlook on life.

Hope to talk to you soon going to look for those threads.

Michelle

luckycharm 10-12-2003 12:17 PM

Hi Michelle,

I didn't know that you could do ww on line. That would't be so bad because then you could fit everything into your schedule instead of trying to fit your schedule around it. But then maybe that is what makes people so successful at it is that it is a priority as they rearrange everything to do it.

Thats great that you look at your success as you do by being in control of what you put in your mouth. I have no control and what is so messed up for me is half the time I don't even realize that I am standing here putting things in my mouth. For example, I give the baby a cookie and I have one to but I don't taste it, I don't want it, I am just eating it and think to myself How did I end up putting it in?

When I can figure that out, maybe I will have some secret answer.

Enjoy your Sunday,
Kathy

Sassycat 10-12-2003 09:53 PM

Sunday evening

Hi Kathy!

Hope you had an enjoyable weekend! Can't believe it is over already. I really hate getting up in the morning to get my son off to school, wish I could just get up when ever I wanted to........LOL!!!

Anyway today was my 1st WI and I lost 5 lbs this week. I am so happy can't wait to get to the 2nd WI. Of course now I have to add some exercise into my life..........hahahaha that is going to be a good one.

How old is your baby? And you know I know what you mean when my son was smaller I would give him something and not think about and take one for myself and not even want it.

I think you just have to start taking a look at what and why you are eating. Was I hungry? Was it just a impulse? Was it just a habit?

Well I better get myself to bed here soon it is getting to be 10 and I need my beauty sleep.......LOL!!!

Talk to you soon!
Michelle

Hi Girls - read your story about starting WW for the umpteenth time and knew that I would fit right in...I started WW again today and am looking forward to sticking with it this time. I do the points system ( the last one not the one with the new flex points )
and I do fairly well with that, last time I stayed on for quite a while and lost about 20 some pounds so I know it works, if I just do it!! :)
My first many goal is to just stay OP all this week...my downfall seems to be that one day that I give myself free reign ( sp? ) to eat whatever I want and then it ends up being two days, then three and before you know it I am gaining and losing the same 2-3 pounds....oh well I know we have all been there....one day at a time I figure....
Catch ya later.... stay strong :strong: :jig:

Sassycat 10-13-2003 07:53 PM

Hi Kari

Hi Kari welcome aboard!!!

I am still getting used to the Flexipoints...I liked the other way better but since I do it online I don't have much of a choice. And if I try to do it on my own without the online for some reason I just can't stay with the program!

Ok you can do it...first goal stay OP all week:strong: !!! If you want to we can post our journals here to each other just to make us liable to someone other then ourself. Maybe that will give you an extra incentive to stay OP! Today is day #8 for me and I am feeling pretty good about myself!

Allowing myself to eat what a want NOT a good thing for me at all!! However we did go to Outback Steakhouse on Friday night and I did really good and was really amazed at how well I did. Get focused and motivated just keep telling yourself do I need this to survive or is it just a simple pleasure?

I am really motivated this time so maybe we can help keep each other in check and kick each other in the butt when we need it.

Sorry this was so long anyway!

Michelle

Hello Michelle and Carri,

It was Thanksgiving weekend for us here and I have to say it is one of my favorite holidays. (Actually they are all my favorite). But Thanksgiving is one of my favorite because that is the day my youngest was born last year. So it is interesting for us as we have a 14 yr old daughter, a 12 year old son and a 1 year old little guy.
We did not do a Thanksgiving feast this year because I did not feel like stuffing myself this year. So I did pretty well this weekend.
I'm hoping this week to make sure I eat breakfast every morning and drink water. I'm having a hard time with motivation lately so go ahead and kick my butt.
Have a good evening.
Kathy

Satine 10-14-2003 10:49 AM

Michelle - that sounds good...we can post what we ate and the points for each ( it might give the other a new food idea ) that way we can keep in check...how many points can you have right now? I am in the 24-29 range, so I try to keep at about 27 or so.

Kathy - Great job on not pigging out at Thanksgiving, when you said it was Thanksgiving I was like "what????" but then noticed that you are in Canada and you celebrate it now...I love all the Thanksgiving food and if I can stay OP till that time then I am going to give myself permission to pig out, JUST for that day anyway....

Okay so for breakfast I had:

Granola Bar - Cinnamon and Sugar - 2 points
Water - 0 points

Check in later,
Carri :)

Sassycat 10-14-2003 01:53 PM

Afternoon

Good afternoon Kathy & Cari!

Well kind of a rough day here so far, I didn't go bed till 3 this morning got up at 630 to get my 16 yo out the door for school then went back to bed till 1130. So my day has just begun!!! LOL

Cari I am doing the Flexpoints so I can eat 24 points a day plus my activity points. So far I have been OP for 8 days today is my 9th and yesterday was the 1st day I ate an activity points or any of my 35 flex points.

Kathy happy belated Thanksgiving!!!!!! Glad to hear you didn't stuff yourself!!! That is cool that you have older ones to help take care of your little one!!!!!!! We wanted another one we tried but I can't have any more! So I will spoil all my great neices and nephews we had alot of them born this year.

Ok Cari I didn't get any breakfast since I slept so late today but here is what I have had so far today!

2 Ballpark Fat Free Hot Dogs 2 pts (they are awful tasting)
2 reduced calorie hot dog buns 2 pts
15 FF pringle chps 1 pt
1 can diet sprite 0 pts

Not doing to good today need to get some fruit in me!!!

Michelle

Satine 10-14-2003 02:21 PM

Dont feel bad Michelle, if I didnt have to work I would be in bed right now...it is a gloomy dark, cold, and rainy day here in Indiana and I could soooooooooo be sleeping right now.....

Ya know I cant eat anything FF, because the flavor is just too bad...I read somewhere that you should just eat the "light" version of things rather than the FF, because of the taste and because of the added things they put in to make it even taste somewhat like food, ha!

So far lunch I had:

Homemade chicken salad - 4.5 pts
2 slices wheat bread - 2 pts
Pineapple - 1 pt
Water - 0

So I am at 10.5 pts so far for the day, turns out the granola bar this morning was 3 pts...what do you eat for breakfast? I need good low pt breakfast ideas...alot of people have suggested oatmeal but I am not a big fan....

Kathy - Hello, where are ya? :D

Sassycat 10-14-2003 06:58 PM

Evening

Hi Carri and Kathy where are you today?

Carri that is funny  I normally eat oatmeal in the morning it fills me up!!!! On weekends sometimes I eat an eat and reduced calorie toast and center cut bacon but not alot the center cut bacon is like $5 a pack.

Homemade chicken salad how did you make it? I am going to assume you didn't use FF mayo since you don't like the FF stuff. The FF mayo is a big turn down for me I won't even touch it!!!!

I did good today but not going to hit the 24 points only hitting 20 but I think I will ok with that cuz on the old plan I was in the 22-25 range I think!

I am going to start working here in the next few weeks just temporary for holiday money at Walmart.

I did get on the ellicptal (sp) trainer today and did a mile in 10 minutes so that was something...working my way up on it.

Here is my whole day for my journal:

Breakfast NONE (sleeping.......lol)

Lunch
2 ff hot dogs 2 pts
2 reduced calorie buns 2 pts
15 ff chips 1 pt

Dinner
Sombrero Pie 5 pts
Salad w/ff croutons & light dressing 4 pts

Snack
Apple Wontons 4 pts
1/2 cup light ice cream 2 pts

Can't wait to try the wontons they are off the WW page it was the recipe of the day and really easy to make.

Well off to watch some TV with the family have a good night!!!!

Michelle

luckycharm 10-15-2003 07:23 AM

Good morning ladies?

I have not tried the point system with weight watchers so how exactly does it work? Is it as bad if you don't get all your points as well as if you go over your points?

I have a couple very old ww programs that I have been trying. One is the fruit and fibre system where you have to eat so much of each and the other is the quick start program. I am not doing so bad since I have started back to work, but I can't seem to find any time to drink the water I am suppose to drink. Any suggestions?
Well I am off to go make some breakfast for everyone.
Kathy.

Sassycat 10-15-2003 08:56 AM

Good morning!

Hi Carri & Kathy! Good morning from very windy PA!!! Tell you feels like the whole house could blow away!!!!

The point system Kathy goes by your weight as to how many points you are allowed. And yes you should always eat at least your mini. amount of points. I have heard it is just as bad to not eat them as to go over. They have changed system ONCE AGAIN but alot of people are still following the other way but I am doing the new one where I am to eat 24 points and have 35 flexpoints I can use during the week.

Water that is going to be a good one for me too when I start back to work I won't have time to be running to the ladies room. So Carri how do you do it?

Michelle

Satine 10-15-2003 09:21 AM

Morning

Hi Michelle and Kathy -

Well I ended up with 27.5 points last night, I didnt want to go over 27 but what are ya gonna do...I actually can go all the way up to 29 so I guess I didnt hurt anything...

Chicken Salad -
Can of chicken - 2.5 pts ( in the area where the canned tuna is )
Miracle Whip - you could use light , all I had was regular, I use
1-2 Tablespoons
Celery Salt
Pepper
garlic salt ( very little )
or whatever seasonings that you want...put on wheat bread and it is good, very filling for lunch.

I finished out dinner with probably some not so great choices since I used up alot of points with it but here it goes:
1/2 cup shredded bbq - 4 points
Big Bun - 4 points
Baked Potatoe - 3
Lite Sour Cream - 2

had late snack of Goldfish crackers - 4

So hey I just feel good about staying OP and away from the Pepsi...Man I love my pepsi!!!!!!!!!!!:dizzy:

Michelle - good start on the exercise ... my husband and I have been walking but it has been so cold here lately...very windy here too...I saw you just posted while I was.

Kathy - I wont explain this points system since Michelle has but I would highly recommend it :)

Okay lets all have an OP day!!!

Talk to ya later!!

Satine 10-15-2003 09:23 AM

Water is a hard one...I am constantly drinking it and still sometimes do not get it all in...but I work at a desk all day at an insurance company - and I sit close to the bathroom, so I can go all day long if I need to, and I do.....

The flex points thing is confusing to me, do they knock down your original points some to add the 35 extra for the week?

Sassycat 10-15-2003 10:34 AM

hi

No they didn't knock your points down they just picked like the middle of your point range (I believe)! Then gave you 35 points to use as you please during the week. Plus you can eat your activity points if you want to. I try not to use my activity points or my flex points yet since I am not getting enough exercise in yet.

So what is on the lunch agenda today? I am going to have leftover casserole from last night and I have beef stew in the crockpot for dinner. I have a party tonight to go for Princess House so that ought to be my challenge for the day!!!

Happy drinking...........water that is!!!!!

Michelle

Satine 10-15-2003 10:49 AM

lunch, hmmmmm that may be interesting because I dont have much in the house, I really need to go grocery shopping...but probably we're looking at turkey sandwich on wheat and some sort of fruit....I may have soup but the sodium in it is so horrible I can barely stand to eat it...maybe I will have to buy some low sodium types...
Turkey is great for lunch because it is like 1 point for 3-4 slices of the healthy choice or any low fat type...and then with the bread you have a whole sandwich for like 3 points....plus with me working lunchmeat is fast, I go home for lunch and so does my husband we both work about 5 mins from home ( at seperate places of course ) so that works out good for us...

Hey did we tell anything about eachother when we first posted?
I dont think so - I will start ( if I did tell you this tough I am going to repeat it, ha! )

I am a 30 year old woman, married to my high school sweet heart, our anniversary is Nov 6th and we will be married 10 years this year ( since we were babies, ha ) we have no children yet, but I have been trying to warm him up to the idea, clock it ticking girls! We live in Indiana, always have...I am close to all of my family, live about 30 mins away from all of them so we visit about every other weekend....my hobbies include reading books and photography...have a pet dog named Les, west highland white terrier, such a cutie and a pain in the butt....I didnt have a weight problem until I got married, I wore a 7/8 on my wedding day and then we go from there to now...size 20, ouch

Anyhow I think that is about it...I will check back after lunch'
Later girls...

Sassycat 10-15-2003 12:25 PM

Afternoon

Well I changed my plans I had to run an errand so I stopped at Subway and got a 6" veggie sub...gosh I love them. Then came home and had that and 15 ff pringles.

That is cool that you and your DH, Carrie, live so close to home that you can go home for lunch. When I start working I will be 15 minutes from home not worth driving home and back and only getting 1/2 hour at home then. So the turkey will do good for me when I start working I will pack it and stick to it while I work except for the water is going to be a problem.

Ok, I am 35 years young!!!! Married almost 17 years on November 29th is our anniversary. Yes to my High School sweetheart also Carrie! We have a 16 yo son who thinks he is going on 21........LOL!!! We have 2 cats both Himalyan's one is 4 years old and the father of the 6 month old. And they like your dog Carrie are a pain in the butt have to brush them constantly. My DH is an owner operator so he is normally gone during the week maybe stopping home once then off on weekends, so we don't see each other as much as we would like to. Our niece lives with us right now her husband is over in Iraq with the army so she needed somewhere to stay other then the base in Germany for now she didn't want to lone it.

Well I think that wraps up my BIO!!! LOL

Hope your lunch was good!!!

Michelle

Satine 10-15-2003 02:26 PM

Michelle - it is funny to me how some people say "oh marriages with your high school sweetheart never work" or "marrying at such a young age will end in divorce" if anything I think that I have one of the best marriages out there....so "yeah to us!"
Ha!
I hope that your neice's husband makes it home safely...my husbands best friend just came back and he was soooooooooo
glad to be back....
I love Subway, love it....the 6 inch is so filling and not many points, how many is the veggie?
I was thinking about getting a holiday job for Nov property taxes and Christmas and there is a Walmart close to me....I would like to be around all of the Christmas things if I worked there...but I dont know the 40 hours I put in here about do me in so......

Ok this is what I have had to eat so far:

Breakfast:
Cold Cereal ( Fruit Loops - 3/4 C ) - 2 pts
Skim Milk - 1/2 C - 1 point

Lunch -
Lean Ham on Wheat with Mayo - 5 pts
Chips - 4 pts ( had regular, is all I had in house )
Water - 0 pts

Total so far: 12 pts, with 15 left for day....

Ok, later girls, have a great afternoon....Hi Kathy!!

Sassycat 10-15-2003 03:27 PM

HELLO!

Oh so true I have to sit laugh myself, our marriage is just as strong as it was when we first got married 17 years ago.......LOL!!!! And yes at first since we were married so young it was tough but we have come a long BABY!!!!!

I like the idea of the Walmart job because not only do I get paid to be around all the stuff but I get a 10% discount just in time for Christmas!!! WAHOO:lucky: I went to the Super Walmart this afternoon and got some cool things they had FF cornbread mix 2 pts per piece Kruteaz makes it. And some kind of bar that Walmart makes it is peanut butter in the middle dipped in chocolate not sure how they taste but they are 3 pts each. Will let you know.

Ok here is what I have had so and my plan for this evening I am going to an open house Princess House party that my MIL is having and I won't eating anything there just sipping on a diet soda.

Breakfast
Oatmeal 3 pts
1/2 cup milk 1.5 pts

Lunch
6" veggie sub w/cheese 5 pts *without is 4 pts
15 ff pringles 1 pt

Dinner tonight is
Beef stew 5 pts
2 pces of cornbread 5 pts (comes to 5 instead of 4 in the builder for 2 pces HUH?)

So that is 20.5 points leaving 3.5 in case I am hungry later.

Oh forgot wanted to ask you what day you WI? I WI on Sundays just to keep myself in line on Friday night and Saturday.

Talk to you soon....Hi Kathy!

Michelle

ksmama24 10-15-2003 04:14 PM

Trying it again

I am tyring this weight loss thing again. I am the mother of 2 boys and have been fighting the weight for 6 years. I am now 100 pounds overweight and am only 26. I have no support from my husband, who could stand to lose some weight himself. I think this is going to be my only source of support. I am glad I found this sight.

Satine 10-15-2003 05:00 PM

Michelle, I usually weigh in on Friday morning, but if you want we can weigh in on Monday morning...I sometimes am bad about getting on the computer on the weekend, usually we are too busy but I will try and check in so that we can keep eachother on track....
Yeah I need to go to the grocery but probably wont go until next week, payday....so that I can get some foods that are lower in points and give me some different ideas...this is cool that we are on the same plan so we can share different low point ideas....
let me know how the FF cornbread turns out....butter is my only problem with that, I love butter...do you use any?
Well it is time for me to go home now so I probably wont check in till tomorrow morning...have a good evening and stay strong at the house party....later...

Ksmama24 - Hi, welcome, what plan are you going to start?

Talk to ya all tomorrow morning...

Sassycat 10-15-2003 05:34 PM

Evening

Hi girls!

ksmama24 welcome! Do tell us a bit about yourself and what plan you are going to follow. If you read back in the posts you can read a little about each of us. And Carrie & I are both on WW just different plans of it.

The cornbread was really good Carrie I didn't use any butter on it. If I want to use butter on something I use the I Can't Believe it's Not Butter spray and as long as you watch how much you squirt on it is 0 points. Only problem is the cornbread mix is hard to find I have only ever found it at a Walmart Supercenter.

You can WI when you want to no big deal, like I said Sunday morning keeps me on track for the most part of the weekend. Have you started to exercise at all yet? It is really tough I am like the worst when it comes to it. I did pull something in my chest area though on that eliptical thingy. But I will survive.

Well better get around for this party.

Talk to all tomorrow have a great night!
Michelle

mota 10-15-2003 11:58 PM

Hi Ladies! I read back on yall's previous posts and was hoping you all wouldnt mind me taggin' along.

I'm not on WW, actually I'm not on anything. Not at the moment. I'm just going to try and make my own little differences for a little while, find out how that goes.

So hmm.. a little bit about myself. I'm 19, no kids (not yet), I work part-time (kind-of) and I'm in college full time.

My min. goal right now is 35lbs. From there, I'll just see how things go I guess.

Take care ladies.

luckycharm 10-16-2003 08:04 AM

Good Morning ladies

How is everyone doing?

I am 35 married for 15 years. I met my husband in my last year of high school, he was in his first year of college. Not quite high school sweethearts but almost.

We have too many pets to mention, but they are all a pain in the butt. But what do you do. Couldn't live without them!

My day at work was an absolute nightmare yesterday. We are having a closeout sale and everyone decided it must be a one day thing and came to buy. The wait to get through the line up was 1 hr 15 minutes. No breaks at all for us yesterday. We did have customers offering to bring us Tim Hortons. The worst part of the day was my district manager warned me and I didn't believe him so I had to tell him I was wrong and he was right. LOL

I guess I missed my points.

Welcome ks, I also have 100 pounds to lose, but I don't have patience and figure I should be able to lose it in just a few weeks.

Welcome also mota, Do you find it stressfull juggling your schedule?

Michelle and Carri, I think it would be hard on me to have a free weekend after trying hard to stay on points all week. Do you have a hard time with that or what do you do to keep from wanting everything?
I do not have a scale in our house so I have to go to visit my family to use someone elses scale. Maybe one day I will invest in one.

Must run and get the kids up to get ready for school.
Have a great day.

Kathy

Satine 10-16-2003 09:10 AM

Morning

Good Morning Girls!!!!!!!

Moto - Welcome, hang around - we all know what it is like to have so much to lose and we can help eachother...

Kathy - The weekend is the hardest for me, my husband and I usually just want to grab something quick or go out for a nice dinner - I will have to say that I usually choose one place over the weekend to eat whatever I want, it usually does not affect my weight as long as I only do it that one time - and nothing too crazy like real, real fatty or anything...it is hard but you just keep your eye on the goal, and when you are seeing pounds drop off weekly - it makes it soooooooooo much easier.....

Michelle - I will have to look for the cornbread around here, I love cornbread. I use the FF butter spray but sometimes it doesnt taste so good - which brand do you use?
Okay I think I will weigh in every Friday, although Monday would keep me good over the weekend - we will see...

Okay last night for dinner I had:

Can of chicken noodle soup - 2.5pts
Grilled cheese with FF butter spray - 5 pts
Water - 0 pts

Snack -
English Muffin - 2
Strawberry Jelly - 1
cottage cheese -2
( I know that sounds wierd but put it together and it is good - my husband showed me that )

Oh and yes I do exercise, I have a treadmill that I use in the winter and my husband and I go walking on a trail in the neighborhood like 2-3 times per week...so I am getting about 40 mins about 3 times per week...for now....

Okay everyone have a good morning... check in later...

Britta 10-16-2003 11:36 AM

Hi Sassycat,

I will be your buddy if you like. You are not too far behind me as I am on my fifth or sixth week...What do you need help with? How can we help each other?

~Britta

Satine 10-16-2003 02:13 PM

Afternoon Girls -

Well lunch was this:

( I made my own egg mcmuffin lowfat style )
English Muffin - 2 pts
1/2 fried egg - 2 pts
1/2 slice Kraft Single - 1.5 pts
1 slice canadian bacon - 1 pt
---------------------------------------
6.5 or rounded to 7 pts for that

1 serving pineapple - 1 pt

So for day I am at 11 points ( breakfast was granola bar at 3 pts and water ) .... so far so good...

Michelle how are you doing today? Kathy?

I am probably going to make spanish rice tonight and some kind of chicken....don't know what yet....

Check in later....

Sassycat 10-16-2003 02:37 PM

Afternoon

Hi girls! Carrie you are doing good! I only have a few minutes before it is time for me to go pick up my son from school.

Went shopping this morning with my MIL and didn't eat breakfast a big no no!!!! We stopped for lunch at Red Robin never been to one before I had a chicken sandwich and no fries so I think it was probably around 18 points not sure though.

I will check back later!

Michelle

Satine 10-16-2003 04:27 PM

woh Michelle - you had almost all your points in one sandwich!!!
:) Oh well I have done that before, so many times... I guess it will be a very light supper for you - Oh I keep forgetting that you have flex points to use - so you might not be in too bad of shape...:spin:

We are both doing great!! :high: :grouphug:

We just gotta keep eachother on track...okay I am about ready to get off work so I will check back in tomorrow morning, stay strong for the evening...:sumo:

( I am already hungry for dinner and have about 2 hours left to eat, :hun: )

Well later, have a good one......

Sassycat 10-16-2003 07:32 PM

Evening!

Hi Carrie!

Well today was pretty bad for me not real bad but it wasn't totally OP. I definitely used some flex points not sure how many though, it is hard to journal when you eat out and Dottie's site didn't have the points for my sandwich.

Dinner I had 1/2 a pork chop 4.5 points
and 1/2 cup lima beans I think they were 2 pts

Morning , I am so tired!!!

Well Michelle I will tell you what is freaky - I too had a not so OP day yesterday, but not over my much... I was at 27 points ( and I can have up to 29 ) when I decided to have some nacho cheese combos, I was craving them and I dont think anything was going to stop me, and that put me over by like 3 to 4 points...so I figure maybe I will have a little less today or I will just say "screw it" and today is another day.....:D

We dont have any real big plans, we are going to my mom and dads Saturday night because we need to drop off the material for my mom to make my husbands Halloween costume. He is going to be some kind of scary clown. Every year our good friend has this huge Halloween party at his house and he will not let you in unless you are dressed up...I still dont know what I am going to possibly be...I was thinking throw on a black wig and paint my face, that is about all I am up to... ha

I am kind of scared about this weekend though...weekends are my hardest time to stay OP, and usually I will end up blowing it one if not both days...so I am really going to be testing the will power this time....and you are right, "nothing tastes as good as thin feels"....I remember how it felt though at the time I did not think about it - I thought I would be thin forever....

Do you have alot of yard? We live in town and hardly have any...we want to move next spring to somewhere kind of out by itself with some land but we will see....I like the city because I am close to everything...

Well I will check back in after breakfast and lunch.... have a great morning...

Good morning everyone.

How do you ladies do so well? I feel like a complete crazed person.

Wednesday
Breakfast - none, Lunch - none, Supper whole wheat spagetti with meat sauce.

Thursday
Breakfast none, lunch none, and supper went out for fast food, burger and fries.

So how does that work with the points when you use them all in one meal? and why when you skip a meal does it not let you lose weight? I know what the experts day but it doesn't make sense.

You ladies are doing wonderfully well. Happy dance for you for staying on track.

Get to go in to work late so I am off to make some breakfast.
Have a super day
Kathy

Kathy - they say when you are skipping meals essentially you are starving your body, your body will then throw itself into "starvation mode" and it will then store everybit of fat that it has or will get in order to keep your body alive and going..it is NEVER good to skip a meal...I could see skipping breakfast but not skipping both breakfast and lunch, that is not doing anything good for your body....
The Weight Watchers plan does not make any kind of statement on using all points for one meal because they do not want you to do it...again not healthy....you should spread your points out over
the day to get a healthy balance, if you are interested I would definitely go to thier website and join, you can do it from home...
Let us know what you decide...
Have a good day, Kathy, talk to ya later... :o)

Hi girls!

Hi Kathy & Carrie! Well I am off to a late day today I ended up going back to bed after I got my son off to school. Slept till 10 o' clock it was so cold it felt good to be under the blankets......LOL!!!

Kathy I am just so determined this time to get to my goal weight and look good and be healthy!!! I want my husband to do a one of those whiplash things with his neck whenever I walk by him.

Sometimes I skip breakfast due to lack of time like when I go back to bed which I have definitely have to stop I should get on the treadmill instead.

Carrie we have 2 yards ours and our apartment that we own has to be done too. And they are both considerably big. But so far if tomorrow is like the past few days and again today NO SUN AT ALL!!!:( I won't be helping! I can't stand to be cold in any way or form.

Sometimes the weekends are tough for me it all depends on what we have planned for then. If we have company that is the big one because everyone likes the fat ladden stuff and here I am not eating that is hard.

I made pork chops last night that were to die for I will forward the recipe to you all in my next post. It was from one of the Cooking Light magazines.

So far today I have had

Breakfast
1 egg 2 points
2 rc diet bread 1 pt

Talk to all you soon!
