I remember my dad use to get a package of mixed nuts with the shell. There were always some of a little round nut with a super hard shell to crack???

Allison's allergies are better tonight. She worries me because its not uncommon for her to run a 103 temp. with them. Once I see signs, we start dosing with the childrens tylenol. As for me, I'm not feeling really crappy, but not great either. My allergies have settled in my head, throat and ears. I have gross pus pockets in my throat (like you really wanted to know that) and my ashma is flaring up. Sometimes I think I would be better off if someone took me out to the pasture and shot me!

here I am.....

a few months ago, I just shut down. f*** weight loss, f*** feeling like a pig, f*** hating myself every minute of every day...

It's all a part of the disordered behavior.

I came back a few weeks ago and lurked, but it made me cry. All of my self-worth is wrapped up in how much I weigh and how big my butt/hips/belly/thighs is/are. I can't turn off the mental tape...."you're not good enough....you're not strong enough...you don't deserve this....you're too lazy...."

Sigh. So, in the meantime, my disordered eating continues. Eat everything in sight, hungry or not. Curse my pants as they get tighter and tighter. Don't eat all day and binge on cheese slices and bread at midnight. Cry. Hate myself.

I'm trying to get an appointment with a highly-recommened psychologist who specializes in eating disorders. It's hard because of my schedule, but I'm trying.

In good news, school is going smashingly, wonderfully well! :D It's amazing what a difference it makes to work for a principal who doesn't have his/her head crammed firmly up his/her anal orifice.

Jennelle!!! I am so happy you are back! We have missed you terribly! Please stay here whether you are OP or not!! We NEED your company and wit. I am glad that your job is going well. Remember, we are all here to help each other from being down on ourselves.

Jennelle hang in there and talk to us. We will help you through this. We all struggle with weight issues and can understand. I don't think there isn't one of us who hasn't binged eaten. Take one hour at a time if you have to, and you will make it through that. I know you can do it.

Gayle no the emails are right. Sherry checked them. This morning there was another notice saying that they couldn't be sent. Maybe it is hotmail but everyone elses gets sent.

Grey day out here. I am going for a walk and then a pedicure this morning. We are thinking about going out to the lake this weekend. If my brother Richard isn't using his place we will go out. It is definitely fall weather but a nice bonfire will take the chill away. It is just so relaxing at the lake. I will let you all know if we are going.

Jennelle: So nice to hear from you!!!! I've thought of you often!!! This group is not here to judge you, if that was the case, they would of kicked me out a long time ago. It's funny what we assume... since no post from you, I assumed you had everything together, busy with school and just didn't need our support anymore. I have the same feelings as you. I can't control my eating. I look in the mirror and get disgusted, but as the day moves on, I'm shoveling food in my mouth. Night time eating is the worse for me. I will eat just to eat, no hunger involved.

What do you think of Dr. Phil? I guess he has a new book out with a plan to help you lose weight. Starting with the issues of WHY you eat instead of so much, WHAT you eat. I'm thinking of getting it and reading it. I know I'm not happy being the person I am know, but not quite sure were I need to start...

Dee: Have fun getting your tootsies done!!!! Have you ever had the wax done to your feet? Also, maybe your sending "naughty stuff" to Sher and Deb that the server won't except?? I know sometimes they send me attachments that I can't open because I don't have the same server as them.

Shelley: How's the weather there? BTW: This is going to sound super silly, but do the homes in Florida come with standard heating? I just wondered because you guys have such mild weather.

Ramona: how's the boot business? You guys could make some moola coming to the "COWBOY CAPITAL OF THE WORLD!!" Actually, I can't think of anyone around here that makes custom boots.

Amy, the eldest of the 3FC sisters, has opted to have gastric bypass
surgery. This was performed on Tuesday of this week, and there are
no complications that we are aware of. She is in considerable pain,
but feels the outcome will be worth it. Amy chose to have Open RNY
surgery which involves reducing the size of the stomach, as well as
re-routing part of the intestine. We will be reporting Amy's
progress on the website.

Again, I will be saying a prayer for Amy, wishing her a speedy recovery and much success!

Ramona: We were posting at the same time. I think my throat is better today, but this sounds weird! My tongue hurts! All along the sides and the space between my gums and teeth! You silly girl! You gotta go to a Doctor to get an antibiotic! :D

Sherri, great news on Wayne's job. Have you recovered from the Titan game?

Baby news: We are finally getting a chance to be heard on the appeal. It's next Thursday at 2 pm. Please continue your prayers for a positive outcome. Ironically, Lisa accidentally got hold of some information that has the name, address, and phone number of where the girls are staying. Supposedly, it's the birth mother's "2nd cousin".

Titan: Wishing the girls the best in life. I'm sure all this bouncing around is so confusing to them. I will be sending good vibes your way Thursday!

Gayle-The systems here are the same as everywhere. The A/C has a heat switch.

Sherry-We have an inservice on Oct. 13. Usually, only 1 office worker has to come in that day. I'll probably do it.

Our closing is this afternoon! After much BS, they set up a time, so finally the refinance is going through.

Sherry and Gayle yes I have had the hot wax done to my feet. Actually Larry bought me the wax pot for christmas last year because I am always cold in winter. Sherry it is like a crock pot that you plug in and warm up scent wax. When it is hot you dip your hands or feet in it a few times then put on plastic gloves or booties and wrap them in a thermo cloth. You keep it on til the wax cools. Peel it off and it leaves your hands and feet soft oiled and exfoliated. Very hevenly, almost orgazmic. mmmm you will have to try it Sherry. Gayle have you had the hot wax?

Well we have decided to go to the lake for the weekend. My brother, Richard, his wife Mona and there one year old Even will also be there. It sure won't be boring, but then again I make my own excitement where ever I am.

OMG, a customer just asked me if I would be interested in being his "keeper". I wasn't sure what he said at first, then he asked if I was married! How embarassing!!!

Sherry, you asked the other day about the "Lipo in a box". It is a body shaper that is supposed to hold it all in. Well, let me tell you, anyone who could manage to fit into that thing doesn't NEED lipo! I managed to get it to my knees before I finally gave up... back to QVC it went the next day!!!

Ramona-The lipo in a box story is too funny!! Also, you must be one hot mama for those young studs that come into your store!!

Dee- The wax sounds heavenly. Have a good time at the lake. Exactly what do you mean by closing up your pool? Do you just put a cover on it to keep it from freezing?

We had our closing and will get the check on Wednesday. It will be nice to have a little padding to help us through!

Dee & Ramona: I've never had the hot wax done, but I can order all of the stuff via my cosmetologist license. Dee: Do you get the brazilian waxing?? ;)

Shelley: I'm glad all went well with the house. It is nice to know that you have a little to fall back on if the need should arise.

Well, I FINALLY broke over and went to the Doctor today. So, you know I had to be feeling like crap. I have a Virus infection that begins in the throat and involves the tonsils, skin, gastrointestional tract and central nervous system. Coxsackievirus or also known as Hand, foot and mouth disease. Infants and young children are usually affected, ya, leave it to me to get infected! You can't take antibiotics with it, they tend to aggravate it, so, it just has to run it's course. For the next week, I can't go see any of my Hospice clients because of their lowered immune systems or be around anyone with a respiratory illness. Tomorrow is my FIL's birthday, he has resp. problems and is on oxygen, the Doctor told me I can't go to his party... Allison was sick earlier in the week and is still showing some of the same symptoms that I have, so now I'm thinking she passed in on to me since kids usually get this. So tomorrow she and I get to have a "girls day" while everyone else gos to the dinner. As how it usually ends, shes feeling just like a kid again, only got her down for a few days, I'm thankful her recovery is going so much faster then mine. I'm a wuss, but at least I understand feeling yucky better then a kid.

I have been DEEP cleaning ALL day!!!!! Drew worked on the outside and I'm doing the inside. I have washed down bathroom walls,washed clothes, cleaned windows, mopped, dusted, knocked down cob webs & vacuumed!!!! I've been so busy today because the Appraiser comes Monday at 4:30. I'm really, really tired and I have to work 9 hours tomorrow at the Titans game.

I fell down when I ran yesterday. I was 5 miles away from home in front of Target on US 41. It's just amazing how nobody stops to help. I thought maybe when I reached my subdivision that someone would stop, but no. My little finger is either broken or sprained, My whole right hand is swollen and it hurts like ****! It's a good thing the closing was Friday, or I wouldn't have been able to sign everything!

We're still sick here...Allison took a turn for the worse again last night. The poor liitle thing says she hurts everywhere! I stayed up with her until about 1:30 this morning, then she was up again at 5:00. She's back resting again now, hopefully the medicine will start kicking in. I still feel like crap, my mouth isn't quite as sore, but I have the whole allergy, sinus thing going on. We are NEVER sick at our house, and now we've had this junk going on for 3 weeks now! They say the school system is just full of all the virus' going around.

Shelley: PLEASE go to the doctor!!!! Are you putting ice on it? How about the pain? Are you taking anything? I agree with Sherry, if your going to be that far away from home, you NEED a cell phone. I can't believe no one stopped to help you, but I'm kinda guilty of that too....the world as it is today, you never know if someone actually needs the help or if it's an act to rob or kidnap you.

Which made me think of this one: A man here in town advertised a self contained camper, the kind you sit in and drive. Some people called from out of town and wanted to see it. He thought the safest place would be Walmart parking lot to meet. They all met, the people held him at gunpoint and kidnapped him! I can't remember all of the details, but it ended with one or two of the kidnappers getting killed. And this is in ANY SMALL TOWN, America.

Sorry for not posting more today. We have had 4 deaths this weekend(two uncles and two women at church) and there is a lot of cooking and schedule arranging to be done. Right now I have a major headache!

Thanks for everyone's concerns. It still hurts like ****, and is swollen, but I really think it's not broken. My DH and DD said the same thing about taking my cell with me. I hate to have to carry something else besides my cd player.

Ramona-So sorry to hear about all the deaths around you right before holiday time begins. I'm sending you lots of hugs, too!!

Shelley you need to come and visit me this winter.....there is not a thing that I can do to keep the pool from freezing. It is polar bear country here! You can't even imagine how cold it gets here! To close the pool we drain in to half way so when it freezes it doesn't damamge anything and then we super chlorinate it. Cover and drain the pipes. How is the finger now? I think that bringing a cell phone with you is a good idea. Now a days there are really little ones. I am glad that you have extra cash now. It always feels comforting to know that you have some back up money.

Ramona that is neat that you and Rick are called Mona and Richard. Actually I often call Richard Rick. It would have been fun it was with us out at the lake. That Lipo in a box sounds like a good workout! Sorry to hear about all the loss of loved ones.

My weigh-in this morning showed that I'm down another lb.!! :D That makes 29 lbs. since March! Since I started WW... 16 lbs. of the 29 is what I've lost since July! It's coming off slow..But that's ok with me! :D

Gayle.....I hope you're feeling better today!! Debbie is trying to steal my hugs for Allison! Give her a bigger one from me!!
