Welcome Robin!!!

So good to see new people here. I so understand about getting to a comfortable weight/size and then having it increase again. And it does feel like a losing battle, but I'm trying to fix that. We'll all win this battle and never have to deal with it again!!
So I hope you feel at home here. If you're comfortable with it, you could go to our bio's and fill it out so we can know more about you.

Well Angie and Jana-- I sure hope you're both having a Happy Birthday!!! Jana, you'll have to tell us about your "surprise" party and how it all went. Angie, you can tell us what your family did for you. Did you get a special gift??? (sorry, I'm nosey)

Nancy-- I hope you made it home. I don't know when you'll get your power back on but know that we all miss you and are thinking of you. (hope you're enjoying the beaches!!)

Well today, I didn't eat much. In fact all I've ate today was a bowl of cereal and ........an ice cream sandwhich. I know, terrible. James and I went to the old house and finished cleaning it up. We are officially through with the place. I know that I will not miss living in that house. Location wasn't bad, but the house should be burned. Didn't realize it until after we had all our stuff out, that the house had shifted some more over the four years we lived there. There is this huge mound in the middle of the living room floor!! Almost like a pitchers mound!! Not kidding either. I'm thankful that I'm finally out of there.

Tomorrow I find out if I get funding for school. I'm both excited and not to excited about going back to school. I would rather have a job that is giving me a paycheck, than go to school.... but if this is what will help me in finding a better job,,, then so be it.

Even though I ate poorly today, I did VERY well with my water intake. At least I have something to feel proud about. My goal for each day is to drink 80oz. of water. With all the moving and cleaning, I've exceeded the 80oz. Bet I'll have nice little water dreams all night!!

Happy Birthday Angie!!!

Thanks to everyone for my birthday greetings!! I've had a wonderful day. The party was great, with over 30 people there and a cake with a picture of me when I was 7 imprinted on it. I got lots of cool gifts and plenty of gag ones, too, such as denture cleanser, K-Y jelly, Metimucil, and such. But the best part was everyone being there.

Robin - welcome aboard!! I think you'll like it here, we are crazy and fun but concerned and loyal as well.

Today is mine and Neal's anniversary. Since we actually celebrated it last weekend, I am cooking for him tonight.

As promised, I am back OP! I did the WATP yesterday and have a big glass of water by my side as we speak.

I'm on my way to Evansville with Mary and the girls. Would somebody else please start # 8?? Actually, any time we get to around 30 posts, any Jaded Lady is welcome to start a new thread...

Hello everyone,
My day was quiet, had to work on a case that wasn't going well. On my way home I went and did some job hunting,,,need out of this line of work!
Anyways DH bought me a beautiful angel sign, and I got a few calls from friends and the kicker was later in the evening when Brandon came home with flowers for me,,,,I was so close to crying,,,I know Im blessed.
Tomorrow my Brother and SIL are coming for dinner, and possibly my parents. And so we can do our family party then,,, its my step fathers birthday too, and my youngest son's. More cake,,,,*sigh
Anyways better run,,,going to go an apply at a couple more places.

Angie, I worked as a PI for about two years in the 90's, great fun .. do you like it?

I'm spending the weekend having my last hurrah ladies.... anything i want or will miss will be on the menu
I finally after searching four stores in two cities have managed to get the SBD book and I am planning on reading it tonight and the weekend, as we are going to see my son and his first house.

I'll check back later this evening and then probably not til monday or tues.
