First Monday in February. We are still doing good. Let's keep going strong and lose another 8 lbs this month. It is a shorter month, but we can do it if we keep focused. Got to stay on track!

What a great football game yesterday!!!

We have an icy mess here. I needed my ice grips just to walk up to the barn. Luckily it was just crunchy snow behind the barn and I could turn the horses out. We're in for more of the same on Wednesday. I don't think we'll be able to plow with all the ice under the snow. I'm so ready for Spring!!!!

You've been getting lots of exercise. Did you really walk/jog 12 miles the other day?

Have a great Tuesday!

Yes, did 12 miles the other day. Jog for 30 seconds, and then walk for 90 seconds, repeat. I did that pattern the whole way, and it made it easy. Plus I had good company so the time passed by quickly too. It was a technique that my walking friend is using to train to do a half marathon. I tried it with her and was surprised that I did it too, since it has been a while since I have gone that far.

Are you going to get plastered with snow again? I think we will only get rain here in the morning, but we shall see. Hope it doesn't get too bad for you. Have a happy Wednesday!

Yes, we're going to have a mess here tomorrow. 5-6 inches of snow then changing to freezing rain. Hope we don't lose power. Chris dug out the big generator in case we do. It is tractor powered and can run the whole farm.

Did some house cleaning and laundry.

Have a great Wednesday!

Iced up later this morning and caused some delays. Suppose to be similar tomorrow. I hope it is not too bad.

Doing good so far this week with my diet. It helps that I don't have too much food in the house. Week is half gone.

Arm is much better now, so I am going to skip the Physical Therapy. Almost back to normal.

How is your Mother-in-Law doing?

We got about 3 inches of snow then freezing rain and ended with plain rain. What a sloppy mess. It's going to freeze up tonght so it should be interesting tomorrow.

My mother in law is doing good. Back to her old self. Thanks for asking!

Do you go to a park to jog? Or do you jog along a road?

I'm not doing so good this week. I'm stuck in the house with temptations

Today was a disaster. First I hurt my knee walking on the ice. I guess my ice grip caught in the ice. Then Sam bought some Girl Scout cookies at work and I had some Thin Mints. I guess I was depressed about my knee. I don't have any will power!!!!!!!

Hope you are doing better than I am.......

Oh I am so sorry you hurt your knee. That is horrible. So much ice lately. I hope you feel better soon.

What! Girl Scout cookies!!! Yikes. I would have no will power too. Thanks for tipping me off. Now I will have to make sure I only enter one end of the grocery store to make sure I don't seem them out there selling cookies. I would want to help them out, but then I would buy too many cookies and EAT THEM!!!

Tomorrow is weigh-in. I hope we both do good. I don't know how well I will do this week, since I have eaten waffles a few nights. I hope it didn't throw me off track to much.

Our town has an old railroad track that went through the town. The town took up the rails and made a paved walking trail that goes close to one end to the other. It is about 2.5 miles one way. So it is a good trail to walk on and bicycle on. Since it is in town, it makes it easy to take a few streets and sidewalks here and there to add extra walking distance. Very nice trail. I only have to drive about 2 miles to get there to start my walk. That is the trail I do on the weekends sometimes. The jogging that I do during the week is around my neighborhood. We live in a subdivision. It has sidewalks that I use for walking, but I jog on the roads unless a car is coming. I also wear a reflective vest when I jog since it is usually dark out.

My knee feels a bit better. I hope the rain we have coming tomorrow and Sunday melts away the ice. Chris fell yesterday walking across the yard and bruised his hip.

It's great that you have a walking trail near your house. I don't think I could jog very far with my bad knees, but I do walk around the fields when there isn't any ice and snow. I'll soon need to start picking up branches along the edges of the hay fields.

Hope we have a good weigh-in. I don't think mine will be good

My weigh-in shows down 1.5 lbs. Yeah! I hope you did well too.

Got most of my walking in before the rain today. Figured it would be too wet tomorrow. Got to work on a lot of paperwork this weekend.

Just looking at my calendar with work and when I might be able to may a trip in your area. Will you be free to meet up on Friday, 2 March or Saturday 3 March for a couple of hours? I can look at other dates to if need be.

Hope you had a great Saturday!

Surprisingly down .4 lbs. You're doing great! That's an awesome weight loss!

Friday, March 2 would be good. Sam has off that day too. Would you like to come for lunch?

The ice is melting....yay!

Well, the rain melted the snow, but now I have more ice than before. It was all under the snow! I hope we have some sunshine tomorrow!

It was a good day to stay in and watch the Olympics.

Have a great Monday!

What a rainy, rainy day here. It almost stopped a few times, but it just lured me outside just so I would get wet is all. Just too wet to do anything really. I went to church, did a little shopping, and paperwork later. Guess it is better than ice though. Hope you get some warmer weather soon.

You're still losing! Yeah! Great job. Keep at it. And I did see the girls selling the cookies today, but I avoided that spot all together just to be safe. I'm glad you told me.

Friday, 2 March sounds good. I remember it takes longer to get there than the GPS says, so I will have to be prepared this time. The last 2 times, I was an hour late. Your lunches are great, but I feel guilty for you cooking for us all the time, and then being late on top of it. It is better for you to meet up in the later morning or early afternoon? If lunchtime is still best, we can go for that too.

Hope you have a great Monday with sunshine.

This could be the year when it happens
for all things great and small .....

Hope you had a nice day. The cold weather is heading back for a few days. Ugh. I enjoyed the warmer weather even if it was rainy. Not too much going on here to talk about. Here with a few ideas for this week...

Oh please come for lunch....I don't think I know what type of vegetarian you are. I know there are different types.

Have a great Tuesday!
