I was really stupid picking up branches in the heat. I thought I was going to pass out! I don't drink enough water during the day.

We had a bad storm go through around 6PM and lost power for 3 hours.

We finished putting up the garden fence and worked on the irrigation system. I love the height of the beds!

I cut back on showing this year. I don't want to re-injure my knee running through deep sand. I'm only going to show in grass arenas. I think my next show will be in July. I'll still drive him around the farm, just not do so many shows.

Have a great Friday!

Planted lettuce and radishes. Went and got paint for my garden gate. It was too humid to paint today so I'll do it tomorrow.

Picked some asparagus and added it to my stir fry dinner.

Maybe tomorrow I'll rake up the leftover winter hay in the field. The grass will grow better if it isn't on top.

Don't think my weigh in will show anything good

I washed my dogs jumping poles, weave poles, tunnels, etc today and will be packing them all up tomorrow. Need to make sure no gypsy moths or other creatures get packed away in the stuff. Quite a few poles had the remains of cocoons from creatures from last year. it was definitely a hot one today. Even for my early morning walk.

Sounds like you have been real busy. I won't be surprised if you show some loss for tomorrow. Be careful and make sure you drink enough water, or you would be out of sync for a few days. Plus it is dangerous in the heat.

Have a good Saturday and good luck with weigh-in!

Missed weigh-in yesterday, so I did it today. Down 1 lb. Hope you did good.

Took my dog to the nearby dog park so he could play with another dog. He did good for a while until he got jealous over another dog playing with his girlfriend too. He then got into a small dog fight with the third dog. Stopped him before it got too bad, but he ended up with a bit tongue which just looked ugly from the blood. He is fine now.

Hope you had a good weekend.

Today was a stress food eating type of day. Not a good day. The same when I went grocery shopping. I have a bag full of treats now. Fortunately I only ate a few items I bought from the store. Now the rest are just lingering on the kitchen table.

I bet you have been so busy setting up your garden and working on the farm. Hopefully you have had some time to work with those horses too. The weather has been great lately, but we are headed to another heatwave by next weekend.

I hope you are doing fine. Have a great Tuesday!

Been real busy here. Sorry I haven't posted lately. I've been falling asleep as soon as I sit down to watch a bit of TV. The weather has been so nice! Tomorrow I'll start seeds and visit the garden center for early vegetable plants.

You did good at weigh-in. No change for me.

Hi Renee, I hope you had a good week. Back home now after visiting with family. I had a nice time. I hated the drive, but now I can relax for a few days before heading back to work. Any horse shows this weekend? Hopefully it won't be stormy out if you do. I did weigh in this morning to find that I am up one lb. If I keep going at this rate, I will soon be back to where I started in January.

How have your eating choices and exercise plans been working out for you?

Glad you had a good visit with your family. I've been busy with the new garden and working outside between the rain storms. I had a truckload of mulch delivered and I'm putting it all around the house in the flower beds.

No horse shows until late June. I cut way back on showing because I don't want to hurt my knee again. I'm only going to shows in grass arenas. I don't want to run through the deep sand that some arenas have. I can drive Steel around the farm.

No change for me...still eating too much

Started my Spring house cleaning, then as soon as the grass dried off I worked outside. We're supposed to get rain off and on for the next few days and I want to get my planting done.

Are you starting to pack? Are you taking much with you or do you buy new when you get there? Have you sold your house?

Have a great Tuesday!

One vehicle sold, one vehicle being shipped on Wednesday. Have to have it spotless to be accepted for shipping along with all the paperwork. Hope it passes. Will put the house on the market in June. Still have some work to do on it first. Working on finding all my important papers and items to carry with me and will ship the rest separately. Busy busy here.

Hope you have a nice Tuesday. Enjoy your garden.

Wow! We had a wicked storm system go through at 4PM. Lots of trees down in the area. We were under a tornado watch, but I don't think any touched down around here. Amazingly we didn't lose power, just a couple of flickers. It went from 90 degrees to 60 in about 5 minutes.

Planted my peppers and tomatoes. Still have some mulching to do.

Have a great Wednesday!

Wow, that is quite a switch in weather temperature. I am glad you didn't get a tornado. We are under a flood watch here for the next few days. Suppose to rain all week. I hope your garden doesn't get flooded. I had a few ferns and flowers I transplanted, but they are having a rough start with all the wind and rain. They look pretty battered and ragged now.

Car passed inspection and has been accepted for shipping. Yeah! Now just need to finish the rest of the work on the house and personnel belongings.

Didn't do the best in eating today or exercise. Lunch was late (1:30) and only consisted of a trail mix packet I bought at the gas station. Too busy trying to meet deadlines, but had to eat something, so while he was filling the car, I ran inside and grabbed something. It kept me from getting a headache. I usually have something in my purse, but I haven't stocked it up lately.

Hope your garden is doing well. Have a great Thursday!

School was closed here today with all the trees down. We were so lucky!

Rained all day so I did some house cleaning. Washed everything down and changed the curtains.

Garden is fine. The raised beds drain quickly.

Do you take your furniture with you or is the new house furnished? You must be really busy.......

Have an awesome Thursday!

What a wet and rainy day. It took me so long to get work and home today. Too many car accidents.

We are taking our furniture with us. Trying to get rid of excess stuff. Not sure just yet how big a place yet to squeeze all our stuff in.

Have a nice Friday!
