Found out that I need more than just a will in place. Need to have power of attorney and other notarized State forms, etc. So I am glad I took it. Learned a lot. Well my husband did go for a short walk with me the other night. However, last night I couldn't get him to budge. Tonight I got him to do the 4 exercises above with me. Little by little, I will keep trying. I have been sticking to my goals. Tonight I thought about having a second sandwich, since I enjoyed it so much. However, after thinking about it for a minute, I decided I wasn't going to be eating it because I was hungry. I only wanted to eat it because I liked the taste/textures. So I changed my mind and didn't eat it. Which horse are you training to drive? Hope you have a splendid Thursday. |

I hear the next few days are suppose to be nice, so I will have to make sure I get a bit more fresh air. Plus it wasn't a good day for me exercising. Too many hours at work. Yeah!:carrot:Of course eating the ice cream last weekend increased my weight for the weekend too. Anyway, I am heading downward and onward. I hope you had some success too. :cb: Today my dog and I attended an animal shelter fund raiser event. I had some quick photo booth pictures made of us. They turned out okay. Then had some more pictures made by a professional photographer. I hope those turn out better. We walked around town some and it was a lovely day. Tomorrow I go to pick up my computer from Staples. So I will have to learn all about the new system. I get free tech support by phone for 60 days, so I imagine I will be using it quite a bit. Hope you have a lovely Sunday! |

Got my new computer this afternoon, and spent the rest of the day setting it up and figuring out how to use this version of Microsoft. I think I got it set up now. I bet next week you will show some progress. Hope you chose wisely at the luncheon today. I think most of my weight loss displayed yesterday was from water loss. I stepped on the scale again today and it didn't show as as much as on Saturday. Anyway, I know we can do this if we stick to this and keep focused. Let's do this Renee! |

Perhaps tomorrow. I just hope it is nice this weekend so I can enjoy it. Picked up my picture yesterday that was developed of my dog and I. It is okay. I am not the photogenic type anyway, so I don't expect much, but I put it on my mirror for now anyway. I was told if they find any more of me they will send them to me in e-mail. I don't know how well I'll do@ keeping up. In the past I wasn't very good, I'll try though! I eat protein products and produce. hope it's not offensive to anyone. Breakfast: Quest P.Powder with half a bg frozen black berries. (My routine breakfast) Sun & Wednesday I lifted iron (after a long hiatus) and have bad DOMS. I had a really good crop this year. Took me 4 hrs. to dig, wash, peel, blanch and freeze them. All I have left to do is freeze some peppers. I'm waiting for them to turn red. Getting ready for a horse show tomorrow. Seems like forever since I've been to one...oh wait, it has been months :) I don't think tomorrows weigh in will be very good...my portions were too big again this week. Have a great weekend! |

Went to church and then started to get a migraine headache. Took some aspirin and relaxed, and then felt better after awhile. Figure I must have been getting dehydrated since I forgot to take my water bottle to church with me. That is the only thing that I can think of that caused it. Not getting much exercise. tbh my motivation is bad but lately the air quality has also created trouble. Just breathing is a struggle. Much of my area is surrounded by fire. Hopefully tonight the rain will help cleanse the debris from our surroundings.
Breakfast- 3 scrambled eggs, onions and fresh spinach. Lunch- Coffee with vanilla protein powder. 2 servings potato chips. Dinner-cooked broccoli, onion and a cooked carrot I'm@1001 Cal. The rain washed our ash away. Much easier to breathe. Walked 4 miles in the morning. breakfast- Protein powder, blackberries and walnuts lunch- protein powder, puree pumpkin, laughing cow dinner- cooked cauliflower, spinach, Italian dressing. 2x Turkey dogs. (Tuesday) Toning fitness- Barbells and kettlebell and 60m aerobics. Breakfast- frozen blackberries with protein powder and gelatin. Snack- Quest bar rocky road, Apricot tea 2 hard boiled eggs Lunch- hard boiled egg Dinner- Big spinach salad, cabbage, Italian dsg., cooked Brocolli snack-protein bar, apricot tea -------- I'm hopeful. Today I joined a challenge for Halloween. Perchance it will motivate me to drop the next 10#s. CorinnaT: Yes it was a complete headache, sinus compromiseto my system. It's gone but my body is trying to get right again. I worry for the more immune compromised in our area though. Thank you. So amazing that you resisted those temptations. Got a husband and dog who definitely missed me I see. :) Pumpkins are turning orange. One rotted, but one small one I rescued. Got a big one that is half green and orange, so it will be ready in a few days. Cut my sunflowers last week and have the heads drying on my porch. Surprisingly, they are full of seeds. Guess the bees found them after all. Definitely hot here, but suppose to cool down for the weekend. I haven't been eating/exercising as well as I should have been this past week. I had to wear something on my head covering my ears, just to make sure the cool air didn't get me sick. Too quick of a change here. Mmmm, fresh warm apple pie is yummy!!! She was so happy! I think she's hooked! She's easy to teach. She really listens and soaks it all in. It was 38 when I left for the show this morning but then really warmed -up and was beautiful. I cut down my sunflower plants over the weekend. Need to work on my pumpkin vines next. Holding off for one big pumpkin that is half green and orange. I will give it a few more days.
