    Meals
    oatmeal with blueberries
    banana
    chicken soup, saltines, hardboiled egg
    fruitcup, sausage, peppers, stringbeans

Feeling a bit better today. Looks like we're in for some snow. They're saying 8-12 inches of heavy wet snow. We'll need to get ready in case we lose power. We can run the whole farm with our big generator, so no problem there. And I have bread and milk

    Have a great day!
  • Exercise
    45 minute walk

    Meals
    Berry drink
    Tofu and vegetables
    Clementine
    Mock fish nuggets

Glad you are feeling better. You are definitely prepared for the bad weather. You've got the essentials. That's good. I hope it doesn't get too bad there for you. We might get a little bit of snow, but only a dusting. Most of the heavy stuff is heading in your direction. Be careful and stay warm. Today it was 77 degrees here...just like summertime. I will have to be prepared for the cold flash tomorrow.

I don't know if I would have the will power you had, especially with donuts involved. Good for you!

Your are probably getting a good workout just from walking and shoveling all that snow. I think you have more headed your way tomorrow. I don't know what I am going to do tomorrow after church. Depends on the weather. We did buy a used SUV this week. Now my husband can do some major work on our other car replacing the transfer case. Glad he likes that kind of stuff and can figure it out.

Just a rainy day here, and slightly warmer. Hope you made it to church.
I went to church and then Subway for lunch.
In the afternoon, we went shopping for a couch.
We thought we found one until we saw who manufactured it, so still looking.
Then just some other small errands, and just like that, Sunday is almost over.
    Weekends are just too short.

Do you have your garden planned for next year?
I want to plant some flowers around one side of my house,
but it is very dry there and has sunshine most of the day.
    So perhaps some sunflowers.

    Have a wonderful Monday!

Mayo and salad dressings are a delicious way
    to make everything more tasty,

    [or by a similar substitute]

Church was cancelled because of the weather.

    Have an awesome Monday!

    Meals
    Berry drink
    Broccoli, Fried rice, Tofu
    2 veggie rolls
    1 Girl Scout cookie-Samoa

Yes it is that time of year again. I have been good about avoiding the Girl Scout cookies and not buying any.
However, when I went to work today, there were two boxes sitting in front of my desk.
I did well until one of my co-workers came by and kept waving them in front of me.
So I decided to have one and only one. Yes there were cookies there for the rest of the day,
but I was able to fight the urge to eat any more. One was all I needed.

Tip of the Day from Self magazine, August 2013
    Chews wisely
Women who claim they're full after a nibble of dessert aren't total liars.
A study reveals that if you indulge a little and put the rest away,
the craving will pass after 15 minutes.
    It's that out-of-sight, out -of-mind thing.
    So define 'a little.'
    Researchers say it's about a quarter of a chocolate bar;
let that portion be your guide.
