Afternoon all. Busy morning, and now this software isn't running my report. Grrr.
Shad - With a post like that, things must not be peachy in your work world. :( Hang in there. Michelle - Good you did that workout today, even if it required getting up before the sun. Terra - Nice of you to stand by for S's package delivery. Hope you cook something yummy at school tomorrow. My week's going alright. I'll be glad when Friday's over. Ceejay - We had a big temp drop yesterday too, and it felt good because the humidity/dew point dropped as well. If you're half as busy in your retirement as Happy is these days, you won't have any spare time to worry about filling, LOL. Yum, smoked sausage! Annie - Yeh, I was just out at lunchtime and it was lovely. Too bad I had to come back in here. Glad you enjoyed your evening out with Leeanne yesterday. Unbelievable how quickly time passes when you get to talking with a good friend. I like the chips and salsa idea for book club. Re book club - I'm glad I'm making this Friday my last hurrah with book club - I doubt I'll attend any more of them. I actually enjoyed reading most of the books chosen - even if they weren't "my cup of tea". It was interesting to read something different than what I normally choose. I'm open to joining another book club...someday. Happy - How nice the guys are redoing the pricing room. Hope it turns out well. Bad news re the crown! Boo on the receptionist - making you wait a week for an appointment!!! I hope there's a cancellation well before then. Thanks for the book club food & drink ideas. I like the idea of lemonade, but I'd probably just have vodka as the booze, and also put out a couple juices for additional mixing options - oj and cranberry. I've made tortilla roll-ups in the past, but this time I might need to buy them ready-made. There's always so much food at these things and guests bring food too, so I shouldn't worry about putting out too much of my own... Glad the peaches are likely okay. Yeh, it's the safety aspect that's a concern when you can at home. You followed the cooking instructions and your seals are good, so yay for you! Picture yourself having some peaches with ice cream this winter, LOL. Hellos to the rest of you! Hope each of your weeks are going well! -- The hot projects our department is working on are coming along, but I have some follow-up to do the next few days. Dinner yesterday with bf's mom was nice. In addition to pork tenderloin, bf also made strawberry ice cream - yum! Today's a rest day for the ab/squat challenge. Gonna do a bit more cleaning/prep for Friday's book club. I'll be glad when that's over. It's been a weight on my shoulders since I agreed to host it. Bleh. |
Good Morning Everyone.....
Wow I discovered something yummy....Subway breakfast flatbread egg sandwich. Only I don't get the flatbread. Just the egg round with veggies, heated, folded in half like an omelet. Comes with a 20oz drink all for $3.54. Not a bad treat once in a while for breakfast. Filling too. C hooked up the new blu-ray DVD player last night. It is no small, unbelieveably small. Our other old dvd player from the dinosaur age finally took a major crap. Anyway blu-ray dvds are so much clearer. We watched Focus with Will Smith. It was average, almost lost interest at first but then it got better and we finished it. Rented from Redbox. Cheap night. C said he wasn't hungry and not to fix dinner. Yeah, what a lovely evening. LAURA...I know what you mean on hosting, it sounds like a great idea until you have to actually do it. (Sam's bridal shower is July 25). I am "bleh-ing with you. Thankfully I have great help, my SIL, and a good friend of Sissy's. Also Sissy's SIL is contributing to the food pitch in. Since it is a brunch shower, I am making two overnight crockpot breakfast casseroles and bringing iced tea and of course the cake. Others are bringing coffee, water, OJ, turkey pinwheels, mini-quiche, fruit salad, also will have mints and nuts. SHADDIE...should I send you a voodoo doll with pins? lol CHELLE...enjoy dog sitting and the upcoming reunion with family. Good job of food choices for breakfast and mid morn snack. You can do this sister!! TERRA...did Ss package safely? Are you back on the wagon now? CEEG...we are having storms here. Initially we were supposed to have a break in the rain, but now we are supposed to get doused again Friday night. I am so over this weather. We still have 9000 customers without power since Monday. Other states are sending in their power help. A huge mess. Thankfully our power is not out. HAPPY...how did things go at the shop? Big mess or organized? Hugs sister, how are your body parts holding up through all of this? How is your tongue? How is DH feeling with the extra work? Hugs and healing. Bout it for me. Hello to all. Special hugs to DEE..hope you are getting better! |
Morning all.
Annie - Yay for the new Blu Ray player, though I always tease bf that there's no difference between regular dvd's and blu-ray because he's such a typical guy with that stuff - bigger, better, newer, etc. I'm glad you have help with the shower! I'm sure you'll have many more than the 7 of us that will be at book club tomorrow. I *LOVE* mini quiche - can I use this as an excuse to bring those into the house???!!! :D So glad you're not without power, but not more glad than you are, hahaha. Hellos to the rest of you. I have to get some stuff done and sent because one of our vendors who's compiling the info is out of the office after today...TTFN. |
Good morning everyone,
Long day yesterday - I even went to bed early - guess that's what happens when you don't get your morning coffee. I thought I would be going with DH to pick up the shelving for the shop but then he offered to go alone so I could be at the store when the other hubby showed up. That gave me a chance to clean up and get organized. The pricing crew did make an attempt to clean off an area but they had stuff piled around the equipment that needed to be moved out. DH & the other hubby (E & K) are 2 no nonsense kinda guys. They want to come in, know exactly what they need to do and they have little patience for someone who hems and haws and keeps changing their mind so I wanted to make sure everything was in place so they could just do their thing. Things were going well. Then one of the other volunteers came in - she is very helpful but is also one of those who kind of likes things done her way and starts to waver on "should we do it this way or MAYBE let's do it that way..." I could see the guys getting frustrated so I had to get a bit stern. Make up your mind NOW. The guys got the trailer loaded and only had to make one trip to drop off the extra furniture. Those people took it - thank you. Then they came back to assemble the shelving. We worked around them. Another volunteer showed up mid afternoon and despite some push me pull you with one of the ladies, things got tidied up nicely. It looks so much better. One lady said "lets see how long it stays this way" and I said "we HAVE the opportunity to change things for the better now". Let's educate people. Let's mark areas specifically for receiving donations and direct people where we want them to put stuff so we don't have to go back to this hodge podge mess. And stop wasting precious space storing things like full size Christmas trees that we can't use except for one month a year. We have alternate options for storing that stuff but no one wants to be bothered to move it. And I was disgusted by how dirty the back room was. I don't think they even swept the floor once since we moved in last year. They assumed someone else came in to clean the shop which is not true. Dirty towels they use over and over, dust bunnies all over the floor along with heaven knows what else. Yuk. These are grown people who should know better. But like a few have said to me in the past, most will allow one or two to do all the dirty work. Anyway I don't want to get on a soapbox. Things are nice now and I hope it will stay that way or I'm going to have to poke some people. :s: While I was gone all day I came home to find a message from the dentist who had a cancellation that I missed. :( Maybe they will call again today with another :crossed: I am home for 2 days now - lots to do here so I'm glad not to have to go out although DH was hinting about a road trip to take pictures. Frankly I am tired - feet were killing me yesterday. I am trying to keep my tongue away from my jagged missing crown. And I have just enough energy and ambition to do what I need to here at home. I have the feeling that DH is getting restless and that's never a good combination  Annie - those Subway commercials looked like the flatbreads were a great alternative to a healthy but filling breakfast. Not a bad price either as you say. We got a Blu-ray player - doubt we've used it 3 times. Glad yours is working out for you though. Sounds like you are going to have a very nice shower for Sissy - glad people are helping out. Nice, light brunch food - yum. Hope people are generous with gifts. Laura - hope the book club goes ok and you settle on something to serve. You are right - there really is too much food at those things. We pared it down to the hostess serving drinks and one appetizer rather than everyone bringing things. Or an appetizer and a dessert if we decided to do coffee afterwards. Less pressure. I totally get the part about stepping up and offering to host and then dreading it when the time finally rolls around. It will be over before you know it. Yum - fresh strawberry ice cream sounds so refreshing and tasty. Have you been getting a lot of hot weather this summer? I finally have some tomatoes on my vines. Tiny but they are budding. :carrot: And I don't know if I mentioned it but I had a surprise of a cucumber hiding the garden I was not even aware it. It was yummy! Shad - yes the cash in pocket is nice to have but not if you have to spend it on medical needs because YOU BURNED YOURSELF OUT. You are really putting the pedal to the metal with each successive contract. I worry about you my friend. It does you no good to drive yourself into the ground. And at this point in our lives, we don't have much ground to make up. :^: I hope things ease up soon for you. Michelle - you are kind of proving that maintaining a weight loss involves some serious commitment to regular exercise. Good for you for keeping up with it when we can give ourselves so many excuses. Terra - I understand about being worried about leaving packages where other people can see them. Did yours come yesterday? Ceejay - 96 degrees!!!! Oh man how I DON'T miss that. Also makes for the scariest storms when a cold front passes through when the air is that hot, muggy and unstable. I think once you retire you will find your own thing eventually. It's nice to have the freedom to choose what to do and how much of it. And if you volunteer, it always seems like they want/ask/need more and more of you. Where ever you land up, make sure there are things to do. They depend on volunteers a lot here and a majority of people here are retired so that makes a good mix. When you first retire, it's nice to sit down and relax and take a breather. Eventually you will get bored and that will motivate you to get out and try some things. And I also learned my brain started to turn to mush without having to think any more so I also started to do things like take classes and some of the volunteer stuff that challenged my slow old brain again. :D I'm sure you will be happy. As long as we are healthy - that is by far the most important part. Money we can work around - illness not so much. :^: Ok, I am hungry so I think I'll have some fruit and eggs and tackle my day. I always forget that garbage day is Friday so I have to get everything together on Thursdays. Got to switch out and clean the litter boxes among other things. Have a good day everyone. |
LAURA....Yes use me or the book club for the excuse for mini quiches to attend! lol Crazy day here and have barely made a dent in this pile of stuff on my desk. Wish I could work OT like Susie.
|
Good morning ladies,
I need to do a better job of time management over the next week or so. I do well with time management at work...and am only now behind because my development environment crashed and burned yesterday and it took me and another developer the better part of the day to fix it...and I lost a day or more of work. *sigh* It's my "free time" I need to manage better. It's all good stuff and enjoyable...but between now and the time I get back from So. Cal...I'm just busy. Tonight, I'm taking my step-mom and her man friend to see a local production of "West Side Story" (one of my favorite musicals). I thought it started at 7, turns out it starts at 8, which will make for a late night (by my standards). Tomorrow morning, I've got to get up by 4:45 to get to the gym for a workout with my trainer. After work tomorrow, I've got to pick up Santa, then go home to pack up some food and clothes, and then go to my friend's house and feed and walk her dog. Saturday, Santa and I are going to go to a friend's house for a bbq lunch and doggie play date. On Saturday evening, Doug and I are going to a friend's 50th b'day party. I've got an OA meeting on Sunday and after that, my step-mom is going to color my hair to cover up the grays. I really need a haircut too, and I'm not sure I trust my step-mom with scissors - she does a good job with color though. Also, I have to start walking/running more to train for the 5Ks I've got coming up. I'm sure I'm forgetting some things this weekend. :dunno: At least I'm not as busy as Happy is. Sorry ladies, no time for personals...I've got to get caught up with my work....which will involve more debugging the code to figure out what was lost, what can be salvaged and what I have to re-do from scratch. :faint: Much love and many hugs, |
Morning
Slept late which was good especially after this past week of work. I'm excited as I have an nsv to share. First of all my weigh in showed only a .4 loss but at least it wasn't a gain. My nsv is that I bought a couple of pair of pants last week that was a size xl. One was a crop pant but fit perfectly for long pants cause I'm short. And the other size xl fit also except they are to long. I'm doing a happy dance. Michelle I'd have to pass on getting up at 4.45 to work out. Glad you can do it. |
Hi ya all,
Seem to have been moaning somewhat lately, however this is not such a bad project as projects go these days. Yes we are down to the wire and time is running out and we are all tired and working long hours. Hold on.... did I just say we?? Seems that at least one of us in not pulling their weight and spends more time on the cell phone and facebook than is good for the project. Things should be interesting in the next couple of weeks when said person, who has the worst people skills in the ENTIRE universe takes on a Train the Trainer course. Maybe said person will do the usual and back out at the last minute when the work is staring them in the face. Added to that, we have the normal - we don't know what we don't know - and there are plenty of gaps in just about every area so I am running around sticking my fingers in the dyke trying to hold back the tides. Google it if you can't understand that one. Yes I am working long hours, but I am getting more stressed about the mental conditions of some of the people I am working with rather than stressing about my own stuff. That's not under control either, but it is more under control that some of my co-workers. I don't think they realize what they have signed up for!!!! Anyway - having read and inwardly digested all the news on this thread, you all seem to be coping well with out me and have Mother Happy to wave her wand and get people moving, and Annie feeding the hordes and Ceejay with the light and water, and Laura feeding the mind and the bookclub. So all is well with the world as Mel would have said. Speaking of Mel, she is leaving messages for me on the computer. Yesterday I e-mailed a friend in Aus and when I started to type her addy, up popped Mels name, now these two addys are nothing alike. Then when I was accessing my ISP to retrieve a couple of messages that were taking a lot of time to download, there she was again. Maybe I should just send her a message? Okay, gotta go. The joys of Managing Manufacturing (producing product) are with me again today, and I am determined to have the Operational Guide and the Overview done and dusted by the end of this weekend. Yep I am working at least one day this weekend - I will not have the doubtful joys of my fellow pod members so I might be able to concentrate on the stuff they don't seem to think they will need!!! I am becoming a psychoanalyst, counselor and confessor all rolled into this short, tubby package. Sunday, I will get some exercise other than falling into and then rolling out of bed. |
Hi Everyone, Tomorrow is Friday! I am in the home stretch. I will be on vacation Monday and Tuesday next week and when I go back I'll have emails and things but both my managers are out and it will allow me some breathing room to catch up those two days off.
I also had my review for fiscal year 14/15. We end our fiscal year June 30. All performance reviews are then done in July. I am happy to report that my review was very positive. Works like exceptional support, leader, steps up, simplifies complex issues, tackled, developed.....I am hoping that in October when we are told our ratings I will be given a 1 rating. Only 20% of the company gets rated 1 (the highest). I have always been rated a 1 and I don't want to break my streak. This Saturday my hot air balloon ride is scheduled and I am very excited! Shad--It sounds like you are working a lot of hours. The money will be nice when you get it but I know it gets old. Take care of yourself. Hello to everyone else. I will now be posting and reading more. I also am putting my fitbit back on Saturday and back to using MFP. |
Early good morning girls :smug: we woke up to a beautiful rain @ 3:30 am. Dh is on 9 hr days all this week. His company's summer hours get the guys out of the factory heat @ 2:30pm daily Memorial day-September 1, instead of @ 3:30pm their normal 8 hour days. We haven't had rain for 2 weeks, so this is a blessing.
Our g-babes went home Monday. We lovedddd the Minoins movie, I liked it better than Despicable Me. There was a funny movie trailer for a cartoon about 'what our pet's r doing when we're gone & they're alone' Plus the Star Wars trailer & a few others were enticing.. Sunday the boys fished w grandpa while Kylee & I kayaked. We were on 2 different lakes & I got the top of my inner legs sunburned where I forgot to put lotion :( Monday I was @ Urgent Care after the kids went home, because the bee venom was still stinging w red streaks in my foot from when I got stung 2x between my toes near my flower bed wearing sandals the day before the g-babes came. I didn't want to spoil our 4 days w the kids so I took Benydryl & used cream & ice. The doc put me on 3 RX & I was groggy until Wednesday. Last night my foot was finally normal again :smug: :smug: I have lots to read about everyone from the week :dizzy: I hope that everybody has a great weekend  our temps r getting up to 94° the hottest we've had all summer. We r invited on a river tubing trip Saturday w about 8 more couples, but that's too hot for me. We'll b indoors w the AC on. Laura.. I hope that where u live the tornado didn't touch down  Susie.. Your balloon ride sounds fun, I hope U share a pic here w us :D Annie.. What brand/model Blu-ray DVD player did u choose, I was told they can play DVDs that have a scratch or minor defects. Our 3 TV'S r Smart LED & our DVD players r old models, we need to upgrade at least 1. Chelle.. I like all your plans :D I saw W. Side Story & I agree w U, there r musicals that r always enjoyable because they are fresh w different actors. I'm sleepy w all the beautiful rain, 'Thank You Jesus'. Our lawn & gardens will b beautiful again. Hugs  to Everyone I didn't say hello to yet. I'll b back ;) Luv U, Dee |
TGIF TGIF YEAH!! Wish you could hear my musical to that chant. lol
Peaceful evening. Watched another movie on our new DVD player. So nice. Fixed cold cooked shrimp with cocktail sauce for dinner. Made rice for C to go along with. Two loads of laundry washed, folded/hung and put away. Whew, then it was off to bed. Oh and filled in the polish on my toenails so I could wear sandles to work today. Fridays are jeans and flip floppy days. This weekend will involve more shopping for the wedding/reception. Normal errands, grocery, maybe a pedi, Verizon to get phone updated software, to Shoe Carnival to see about shoes for me for the wedding<---just wanting a easy flat cause I am going to try not wearing my brace for that day. Yeeeee! Aldi's for things I can get cheaper than the grocery chains, hmmm, my day sounds busy. Sunday church and the afternoon free to do whatever, probably mop my kitchen floor before it gets too bad. DEE....you must be really allergic to bee stings. Hope you are feeling better by now. I want to see the Minions movie, glad you are rating it high. What a fun life you lead. SHADDIE...glad you came up for air for a few minutes. Take care of you and get your rest. Don't want you getting sick. SUSIE...all the work you do for your job, no wonder you get rated #1, you certainly deserve it. CEEG...yeah girl, good for you on the NSV. Woot Woot.... CHELLE...remember to take a down time for you time. Slow down and take a breather. Hello to all, make it a great Friday/night and a wonderful "YOU" filled weekend. Hugs sweet sisters. |
THis stupid report. I am ready to quit this job over it, but know I cannot. I am miserable over it.
|
Morning all. TGIF!!
Annie - Sorry the report is causing you misery. I should have touched up my toenail polish today because I wore sandals to work, but I didn't. :o I will definitely be getting a pedicure this weekend. I hope you find the right shoes for the wedding. You sound way too busy this weekend!! Hope Sunday ends up calm. Dee - How are you doing with the immune illness? I've been thinking of you and hoping your meds are helping get you healthy again. Re the bee bite - my bf's mom ended up going to immediate care for an insect bite - she had a lot of swelling and pain. Turns out part of the stinger was still in her. She's better now, and is taking antibiotics. Your weekend with the grandkids sounded fun. The tubing trip sounds fun too - too bad it's going to be so hot. But won't being on/in the water help? We're getting heat today and this weekend too. Wish I could have sent you some of our rain - we got a lot of it last night. Susie - Congrats on the excellent review. :bravo: I hope it pays off at raise time. :D You deserve it - you really work hard for your company. Wow, a balloon ride - how exciting! Take some photos for us! I would love to take a hot air balloon ride someday. Enjoy your days off on Mon/Tues. Shad - Sounds like a pressure cooker there! But I'm sure you've experienced very similar conditions on other projects. It's just the mix of the circumstances and how the team handles them - individually and as a team - that makes each project unique. Hope your Sunday is restful. :yoga: Odd about Mel's e-mail addy popping up. Maybe you should send a message... I was wondering the other day how Jen is doing... Ceejay - Great NSV! Looks like your area is getting high temps like we are. Keep cool! Michelle - You sound awfully busy. I'm sure your weekend and next week will go by like a blur! :faint: Enjoy, but don't overdo!! Did you enjoy West Side Story?? I've never seen a live production of it. I wish I could do my own haircolor - save a bundle. Happy - I hope the new pricing room arrangement encourages people to keep it tidy and organized. Honestly, it sounds like some of these people want to get their "do-gooder" points just by showing up and doing the least amount possible. It's almost like the scheduler has to spell out people who will do tasks like cleaning the back, the shop floor, etc., otherwise people think they're there just to sit behind the counter and ring up sales. I understand why you get so frustrated. What a bummer you missed the cancellation spot at the dentist. Hope another one comes up. Re our weather - no, we haven't gotten a lot of hot weather until now. It's actually been a very strange spring and summer. Unseasonably cool and a lot of rain. The foliage and blossoms on my veggies are great, but there aren't many actual tomatoes, and they aren't ripening. Our squash plant appears to be the same, but since this is the first time I've grown it, I don't know if it's where it should be. I'm sure everything would be doing much better with more sun and heat. Well, this weekend we're getting it! Hello to Terra! == Nothing much to report. It got humid and rainy yesterday afternoon and evening. It was cool last night, so we didn't have the AC on, but this morning it was warm and sticky. I closed all the windows and got the AC going. The admin is out today - getting ready for an apartment move next week. Don't envy her, but she will finally be moving to a better neighborhood, thankfully. And into an elevator building vs. the third story walk-up. It'll make a big difference for her as she has major medical issues and can't walk too much. I'm working only a half day today. I have to shop for my book club food and beverages, mop the floors and get set up. You girls know from all my whining this week that I can't wait until this is done. Even though this weekend will be really hot, and I'll get cabin fever sitting inside in the AC, I'll be happy as a clam that it's over. ...and then I'll have plenty of time to begin dreading the colonoscopy coming up on Tuesday, LOL. No other plans this weekend. Doubt I'll attack any of the outdoor projects because it'll be pretty hot...unless I get my keister out in the morning before it heats up. But then there's the skeeters to contend with. :dunno: Okay, gonna quit rambling. Off to post and get on with the day. The hot items are mostly done - now to catch up on other work. |
Hi all,
Well the report I got back was that the pricing people (who were ALL part of the initial conversation) responded back with less than enthusiastic results. Kind of like pouty kids. Geez you would think I climbed into their beds while they were sleeping and cut their hair off  This is seriously a group of stick in the muds who are happy to NEVER change a thing or make any improvements. One girl in particular spent the entire time complaining and it isn't even her area. AND we had already discussed everything she complained about in length the day before. I swear it is so disheartening. :( But there is a great need at the shelter and the animals need all the help we can get them even if the humans are acting like donkey's butt ends. I pushed through last night to get as much done with the upcoming fund raiser so I can hand that off to another volunteer to help out today. I will pick up some things at the shelter, meet with S this afternoon and then tomorrow I will work all day at the shop. We are having a special one day sale to try and move some merchandise. I am working because everyone is freaking out about having to put in a discount in the register which is just as easy as ringing up a sale. And then I am DONE with my commitments for the time being. I can turn my attention to some of the research I need to look at but that is on my own schedule. I can't wait. I need a break from the shop. One of my friends who is from Chicago called yesterday - she is going to Chicago on Monday but she is staying until the beginning of August which is totally undoable for me this time around. :( She said she might be going again some time in September but not sure when. She is very involved in the church and that sets her schedule a lot. As we head into August it's time to make the plans for the last hurrah of summer. By Labor Day the weather turns delightfully cool. The days are gorgeous in the 70s but between sundown and sun up it gets rather cool and wet. The garden will slow down and start to peter out. I am finally getting tomatoes and I got a surprise cucumber that I didn't know was hiding under the leaves. Peas are pretty pathetic and the arugula is bolting. Not a good garden year but I guess it's pretty sad for most people. Laura - oh boy - hosting a party AND a colonoscopy - you know how to live  But the good news is that by this time next week you will be able to make more fun plans. I saw how hot it's supposed to get. Oh yuck. I imagine Coal is not happy with this weather either - does he have a pool in the yard? What did you decide on for refreshments? I planted yellow summer squash 2 years ago in a separate big planter. It started out great, got lots of lovely squash blossoms and I got about 3 squashes. Then it pushed out fruit but it stopped growing and started to rot. I too didn't know what to do with it? I didn't over water or over feed it. Maybe I had a depressed plant? Shad - they say that those who have passed retain their energy E.N.D. - energy never dies - and that they try to communicate with us via electricity. I think old Mel is funning with you and letting you know she is still thinking about you. :D Annie - sounds like you have a pretty busy weekend. Good luck shoe shopping - I hope you find something - it's always hard when you need something specific. When is the shower? Dee - too bad you had to take a pass on the river tubing - sounds like it would be fun. Ceejay - are you sweltering? I'll bet there's more of a demand for water too which will keep you busy at the plant. Susie - enjoy the hot air ballon - sounds like fun and maybe a bit scary looking over that basket. :yikes: There is a hot air balloon event in Duluth in September that DH wants to attend. Hoping to get some great pictures. Is this just a solo ride? Don't forget to sing "Up Up and Away" by the 5th Dimension. :D Let me go find some lunch and get productive. |
Dh phoned me @ 11am, having a terrible day @ work needing to hear my voice & we prayed, he said that Helped him... On Wednesday dh got awesome news @ his oncology appt. cancer, he's still in remission  But he's lost 8 lbs. since February so I gotta start feeding him better :p more ice cream I suppose ;)
I'm taking a stress break from a customer order right now :^: I just ate some cheese w hard salami I bought @ Brennan's in Wisconsin :p on July 3 & eat supper from our garden all weekend. I'm going to make a spaghetti salad for me, using zucchini instead of pasta (I have a crank, veggie peeler that makes curly veggies). Dh will likely top off his salad pilling on hard salami & crispy bacon :D I smiled about all your pedi's; because I always see more bee's following my painted piggy's around the garden. It was my fault I was stung because I should've wore clogs or sneakers :frypan: & I don't wear fragrance out there either. Okay, enough procrastinating & lingering online. Time to work @ getting my job projects caught up. Happy.. How young were u when u retired from your job, its sounding appealing to me right now... I'll look forwards to being 62 yrs. to retire but I'll have to work part-time probably forever it seems w this economy. |
