Hello chickies! Well you have started another thread on me! So.. I only have time to try to answer all of your questions and get ready for bed-e-bye!

Spryng- Thanks for your compliment.. I don’t think I have ANY muscle! Too bad.. I’m trying to get some though..

Julie~ Thanks for the compliment!! You’re a sweetie!

Leigh~ I think you’re right about that artificial sweetener. I don’t usually do aspartame.. That’s probably it!

Lori~ All together I have lost 60 lbs… Thanks so much for the compliment!

Michelle~ I haven’t gotten a chance to check out your website.. But I will!! I’m pretty sure it beautiful from all the dolls and names and stuff you’ve done on here already!! I promise to check it out.

Mel~ Hiya! I’m doing ok.. Thanks for asking! That darn storm is affecting everyone ain’t it!!! It seems to be stormy everywhere! That sucks!

Jill~ I’m not even gonna ask how you burn up a crock pot…

Angel~ My kids were the same way today… what’s up with that! I was so embarrassed in the store today.. Even by my little one! Then my son wants to tell strangers that I whipped my baby in the store.. Which duh wasn’t true! I wanted to choke him! Kids….

Kristin, Penny, Cheri, Cindi, Geri, Crystal, Ricci, Mindee, Melissa, and anyone else that I probably missed.. But forgive me.. I tried!!

Anyways I havent exercised.. And I’m sitting here eating some chocolate ice-cream. But….. I’m happy! My Dh liked the necklace and stuff I bought for him, he actually looked excited! He put it on right then! I only spent 99 dollars on groceries and household items for the week.. That made me happy too! I still had some meat and stuff left over though. I still gotta get some school supplies though.. But I think I did good…. It’s been double and almost triple that the other weeks. Dh said he wanted simpler dinners, so that’s what he’s gonna get! Today I cooked Hamburger Helper.. Spaghetti!!!!! Everybody loves it.. It’s ok.. But I like my spaghetti with more tomato. Oh, and some garlic bread. Anyways I guess tomorrow is a new day.. I gotta exercise tomorrow or else!!!! No excuses.. Especially with this weather.. Well I better get a move on it.. And get ready for bed! Hope everyone has a great night!

So many newbies since I last posted, I am Melinda, SAHM to John Wesley, who will be 1 on the 22nd of August. I work two days a week for a psych office. I have been doing LA Weight Loss this summer, but am burn out on it. Really have not had much change this summer with all of the travels, but at least no gains. I still have about 25 pounds to lose, but I am so ready to have a second child, but I know I need to get the weight off first.

Jill - Good luck with school. It is great for you to be a full time mom with school too. I know what you mean about staying home forever. I will probably have to go back to work full time when the kids are in school. Did you say you will be teaching? Great career for moms, off when the kids are off. I always thought I wanted to be the career mom, but this little one sure has changed me. I love motherhood.

Michelle - Your stats are looking great! I am so proud of you. Good to be back. I hope to be able to catch up.

Angel Marie - Between Greenville/Spart, I did my undergrad at Clemson and still have friends in the area. We are planning on being up that way this football season.

Leigh - My sister is doing a scrapbook for JW first year for his birthday present. I have bought the books with the note areas on the side, but I have done the whole scrapbooking thing. You have been doing great! Spa day is going to be glorious!

Mel - Where is somewhere over the rainbow? We are getting the rain, but I don't think we will get much wind on this side. Probably should not be on the computer.

Spryng, Geri, Penny, Hello to all!

Hi Ladies.....

Jill,
I was gonna tell you.... if this helps ..... I usually buy one pack of each thing I need and then just do the rest in the main colors of the set...... Like get a pack of the ladybug plates... then do the other plates in primary red, yellow or black. Walmart has their primary sets for $1.00 here. Let me know how things are going with the party! The crockpot set sounds great! Congrats

Michelle,
Have fun working I am so stoked for you that your inlaws will be in tonight! Have a great time Taylor's package is finally going out tomorrow

Angel,
I totally understand about not posting pics.. My hubby freaked out the other day when he saw a post w/ my pic on it.....

Melinda,
I am so excited to have you back! I have been missing you Hope you are back for good! Are you still on the program or have you switched to something else ?

Jaymi,
Congrats on the groceries.... that is great.... I spent $200 last week on just groceries so I know the feeling

Melissa,
I can't wait to hear about your weigh in tomorrow! Has the challenge helped you stay on track?? Thanks for being there for me!!!

Spryng,
I wanna do the flylady cleaning chat... Just let me know

Leigh,
Hope you feel better tomorrow

Crystal,
Hope you have a good night! How are the kids doing with the schooling so far?

I can't remember all the posts from the last page Hope I didn't forget anyone!

Have a great night everyone! I gotta get up early to bring Hunter to school so have a great night

Ok,
I did forget some important ladies

Angel,
I am so happy the kids enjoyed their teachers! That is great! It is always a better year when the kids have good teachers Thanks for saying something about the mugs for bible school. I didn't even think about that! But I might do it for the kindergardeners ! Thanks so much

Lori,
How old will your dd be? Is she asking for EVERYTHING for her birthday? My boys are going to be disappointed b/c they think they are getting all of Walmart

Julie,
I just recently got off SB.... I started in February. I just had a problem once I moved to phase II ... I had too many choices and once I strayed a little... I couldn't get back on track. But I believe it is a very good plan But I am not a dr. so I can't give medical advice......lol Have a great night!

Hello chickies! As I was sitting here eating my ice cream… and getting ready to fix me some more…. I decided to post my goals for the week. Friday is as good a day to start right!! So I haven’t’ exercised…. But tomorrow is a new day. So far.. Maybe it’s just an excuse… but my daughter has been waking up at 5:30 am.. And during her nap time I always have to cook or do something important.. That’s been cutting off my exercise.. But I’m going to have to work it in anyway. So.. Here are my new goals for tomorrow:

Exercise at least 60 minutes per day!

Keep A positive attitude.. Or try my best!!

Stay on plan…. Keep calories at 1500

Start journaling again!!!!!

Drink Lots and Lots of Water!!!!!

: Lose 5 lbs for Labor Day!!!!

Now I plan on following that.. And getting back straight to working my butt off. I worked too darn hard to get where I am to blow it… regardless if summer is almost over or not… So what.. I can be ready for next summer!! I can do this! I have come too far now to go back I will NEVER go back!!! **** NO I WON”T GO!!! :rof:

Jaymi-That's the spirit Keep up the good attitude. That's the best way to stay motivated.Hey,I should take some of my own advice. You sound like you've got a good plan.Just remember :if you can think it,than you can do it.You go girl .Were all behind you.

Penny_ Your kids will really enjoy the mugs.Grace likes to change her background page.Anyhow,I will get to volunteer at the school alot this year since Grace will be in K-4.She will be in school from 7:45 till 10:30.So i'm going to try and volunteer in each of the kids classes once a week.I love kids and I know the teachers love parents to help out.So hopefully it will workout well.Congrades on getting your room ready.I know you and the kids will have fun.You have a sweet and caring personality and you seem to be very organized. How do you do that? I'm lucky if I get the kids bathed and fed all in the same day.

Meltin_Maybe we will actually get to meet.It would be cool to eachother in person.I'm always open for new friendships.I'm not into sports though.I just never really got into them. But yeah maybe we can figure out something later.

Well I can't sleep i've went and had to much coffee 2 pots today. That really not bad for me.During the winter I drink coffee all day.It keeps me warm inside.I stay cold even in the winter.Dh and Ashley freeze me to death.I have to go outside to get warmed up.

Hopefully I can stay OP tomorrow.Maybe I should think of a schedule like Jaymi did.Lets see.
Get up,cook breakfast, get the kids off to school, come back clean breakfast, get ready for Grace's teacher to come for a home visit, then maybe I can exercise for 30 or 45 minutes, drink water, drink water, drink water.I have'nt been drinking any water lately.I really forget to.Can ya'll believe that. That's how far gone my mind is. The kids have me about mindless.Anyhow after that i'll fix lunch, clean up lunch,go wait for the kids to get out of school. They are car riders we live like 2.5 minutes from the school.Get home get DH off to work,Spend the rest of the day playing with the kids and fix supper and be happy. There that sounds like a good plan. What do ya'll think .

Oh yeah,I went to the dentist today. It was scary for me.I have'nt been in a couple of years.I know that's bad But I just got good insurance.Anyhow I've got 2 teeth that's getting pulled then I'm getting a bunch of work done because my teeth just did'nt come in right.I've still got 2 baby teeth,2 teeth that has never came in and I've had 2 teeth pulled. But by the time the dentist gets done with me i'll have a mouth full of white beautiful teeth.I can't wait until it's over. It's going to take awhile. But at least I won't have to worry about dentures. My whole family has dentures and I refuse to have them.I don't care how much it costs.Thats just not an option for me.My next visit is sept.1rst and he's going to pull the 2 awful, awful cavaties that I have right now and then we're going to talk and figure out how to go about getting my smile fixed. He says I have alot of options which is better than not having any.A "perfect smile" is something i've always dreamed of.It's just something everyone looks at and my self image will be alot better when I get that taken care of.No pain No gain Well that's all I can think of to talk about right now.Maybe i've made up for not posting.

Wait I want to tell every one hey.
Hey PENNY,HEY LEIGH,HEY JAYMI,HEY MELTIN,HEY CRYSTAL,HEY MICHELLE,HEY CHERI,HEY CINDI,HEY GERI,HEY RICCI,HEY MELISSA,HEY MINDI,HEY JULI,HEY LORI,HEY JILL,HEY MELINDA,HEY SPRYNG,HEY KRISTIN AND HEY TO ANYONE ELSE.JUST IN CASE I MISSED ONE.I HOPE I DID'NT IT I DID.SORRY BUT IT IS 12 MIDNIGHT HERE.I GOTTA TRY AND GET SOME SLEEP NIGHT ALL.

Well it has been deat tonight! There was about an hour where no one was on my yahoo screen which hasn't happened since I signed up for it like 2 weeks ago! You all are busy and probably tired. I need to get to bed early too (it's only 9:30 here) but first I want to go over some recipes in my new crockpot cookbook and clean out a couple of drawers in my kitchen.

Spryng is was nice playing games with you tonight, I am going to practice checkers at work tomorrow and beat you! J/K thanks for chatting with me tonight it was fun! I think we should have the flylady thing on Mondays so we can all start our week off to a good start, with a clean house (or at least one clean room). I'm just throwing that out there so that we can get started and actually do it. If anyone else has another day that is better go ahead and throw it out there.

Ok need to go to bed! TTYL

Hey girls just a quick post from me Just wanted to let you know I'm sneaking in and checking on you all Can't wait to read tomorrows post but I probably won't get to it untill late tomorrow evening. Dh has his vasectomy tomorrow and I can't help but feel a little loss there But it is for the best and we made the decision together

Angel I made the glitter names and I can make you one but it probably won't be done til late next week as my inlaws are in town and we are doing a lot of remodeling while they are here. Putting in new floors, framing our bathroom, brick patio going outside, painting bedrooms and papering the livingroom and dining room, putting in 2 new ceiling fans, building an 8x8 shed, and hubby said I can get a jacuzzi tub for our main floor bathroom but I think MIL is trying to talk us out of it, we'll see though, she thinks we should just wait until we get the huge tub with a heater for our master bath but dang it I want one now lol.

Anyway I will post tomorrow evening I hope you all have a great day!!

Michelle

Morning all, Ok here is the new QOTD: What is your favorite book to read to your little ones? Mine are Something from Nothing and The Rainbow Fish.

I still have to get on that scale this morning. I always wait about 1/2 hour after I wake. I have to be alert when looking at that scale...lol.

SHould be down some more, but we'll see. I'll check back....

Michelle. I bet you in-laws have arrived...Have FUN!

Leigh- I do enjoy it here, but mostly because I have a good set of friends. I started taking the kids to playmornings APR 03 and shortly after a lot of our husbands left for Iraq. We were each other's support system and kept each other very busy. I don't know what I would have done without these ladies!!
I'm sorry you don't feel well, have you tried a vaporizer or humidifier?

Jill- Unexpected free stuff is the best!! I love my crock pot, especially when the weather is cooler, I don't use it much in the summer!!

Penny- DD is going to be 3, already!! Boy does time fly!! Its not that she's asking for much for her birthday its just all she can talk about!! "My friends are going to come over and I'm going to open presents and we're going to have cake and there's going to be 3 candles on the cake!! See mom" showing me her 3 fingers "3 is this many! Then I'm going to blow out the candles like this" She is too much. When I asked her what she wanted for her birthday she said a bag. I asked her what kind and she said a goody bag!!! My ILs sent her money in a card yesterday so we're going to go the store when DH gets home and she can pick out something for her birthday. She does like to sit on the couch and look at her disney catalog and tell me everything she wants which then turns into what she wants to be for Halloween!!!

Angel Marie- that's great about your teeth, not getting them pulled, but that you're going to have a beautiful smile!! DH and I went to the Dentist in May, I haven't been since before I got pregnant with DD, and I didn't have any new cavities. DH had to have 2 filled. I guess I just brush more than him, but now he's brushing twice a day every day!!

QOTD- i love reading most of the Dr Seuss books because of the cadence of the words. They are fun to read aloud!!

I went to the gym today and completed Week 5 of the Couch to 5k program which was a 5 minute walk and a 20 minute run without stopping. Didn't think I would be able to do it, but it felt so great to finish knowing what an accomplishment it is for me. I did 2 miles in 20 minutes with a 1% incline. I was pretty proud of myself! Then did 20 mins on the elliptical. I've been pretty good all week and hoping for a 2lb loss on my WI on Sunday. I want to reach my Labor Day Goal!! DH is supposed to come home early today, we'll see how that goes. Have a bday party tomorrow and I think Sunday is going to be my day to clean!! Fun weekend planned- huh?

Hello to all, can you believe its Friday, already, and the weekend is almost here!!
