I went with Will for his meeting with the surgeon today that will do the cutting on him to get that little piece of cancer. He is going to do it without cutting him open but make a few slits ~ one for them to get his hand inside. They will be cutting out a section where the cancer is and shorten the intestine in the process to get it tied up to a different place so it will work fine moving the “stuff” along it’s way to be eliminated. The doc said Will will be in the hospital 5 to 7 days. We think Will will be in there for the shorter time. It will all be taken care of on August 5th so Will does have a couple weeks to get ready to go to the hospital. He has an exam tomorrow to get ready for the surgeon to have as best picture as possible.
