My goal is to lose 15 lbs. by Labor Day. I need all the help I can get!!! I have almost ate 1/2 pan of pecan fudge brownies in 2 days!!!!! HELP!!! :(

Beginning Weight (July 11th): 177
Goal Weight by Sept.1st: 162 :cool:

Sherry, my dad made his famous homemade banana pudding last night and I had to have some! But, that doesn't mean that all is lost so put down those brownies and let's get back to it! Right now I'm going to get back to my grilled chicken and fresh tomato! hahaha

I would like to lose 15 pounds by labor day. My incentive is my class reunion at the end of September and my parents' 50th anniversary party Aug. 30. There will be many people there I haven't seen in years and I'd like to look my best!

Sherry, I have decided to recommit to WW journaling, starting today!! I intend on getting to 127 by labor day-that's 6 lbs.

I honestly feel ...this is the challenge for me!!:D :D

I would like to lose 15 pounds by Labor Day. That is almost 8 weeks from now. That would put me close to a 30 pound lost...I want to be like Carol....LOL. I am also going to start posting my daily meals again. That helps me!!

I decided not to say that I will try to lose # of lbs by Labor Day. Instead I am taking the positive route. I will lose 11 pounds by Labor Day. That is a little over 7 weeks away from now. I should be able to reach that goal!!

I can hardly wait Debbie for you to have the 30 lb loss I have. It is a great feeling. You can do it!!!!

My goal is to lose 8 pounds by Labor Day. That'll put me under 230!! I ALMOST met the 4th of July challenge of 8 pounds by losing 8.5 (thru June 24), but then the week after, I gained 2.5. So that was only a 6-lb. loss. Since the 1st of July, I've neither gained nor lost!!!! Gotta start journaling and walking (SOOOOO HOT) again!

Cheryl-I really believe that journaling is the key. Why not post your daily menu? It seems to help me. BTW, 6 lbs is fantastic!! Don't cut yourself short. You are doing awesome!

I'm starting WW today!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cp: I will post my meals EVERY night before bedtime. I'm so excited!!! My food points are: 22-27.........OK....Here I am to start loosing my 15 lb. goal by Labor Day!!!! :)


Shelley...........I have a question for you:
When you "bank points", Does this mean that you can have more points the next day? If so, For how long? A week? This confusses me. Thanks!!

Sherry you can bank points for one week. If you do not use them they are lost. You can use a maximum of 10 bank points a day. Activity gives you extra points and not eating your maximum daily points. I like to save some of my extra points for the weekend.

I am going on the 3 day diet and will do ww's the rest of the week. I will be one day on and then one of and so on.....

BTW-I also eat plenty of sf popscicles throughout the day and don't count the points (don't want you to think I don't eat all day!)

Weigh-in was last night! Lost 2 pounds! Journaling again beginning today. I also walked a mile (finally!!) last night.

Debbie-Sure, it doesn't matter. Tha;s what this WOE is all about. You don't need to deny yourself any foods. I was just wondering. You are doing great. It's just that I save points by using ff, but then again I don't like the taste of regular margarine! Believe it or not, I prefer the taste of ff margarine. I can even eat it by itself!!

WW question...... What does it mean by "banking points"? I know you can save them and use them later in the week. My question is....I should be eating between 27-29. Tuesday I had 25 points, so how many could I bank? Sorry to be so dumb!! LOL

Debbie you have 2 extra points banked for one day this week. So that means you could eat 31 points. If you exercise you can also bank more points. By the way two questions, how big was your bagel or how many calories and according to my calcalations your wednesday dinner was 7.5 points unless your porkchop was large. I would have ate the whole potatoe it is only 3 points for a very large potatoe. You can top it with 1/4 cup of ff sour cream and onions for a point.

Well today is my last day of the three day diet. I did one day one one off and then two in a row. I play around with the food choices abit. Back to ww tomorrow.

Thanks Dee!! My pork chop was small. I did put 1 tsp regular margarine on my 1/2 potatoe. How is excerise points earned? See I'm just full of questions!! LOL Is your 3 day diet like a detox thing?

Debbie-Most people count 1 mile as 1 AP (depending on how fast you are walking.) Since I did a run/walk today for 6 miles, I earned 6 AP's. I usually eat all mine instead of banking them. Anyway, since you have 2 banked points for Tuesday, you can use them for another day any time during the same week. So, if you and Sherry are going out for drinks, there you go!! If you were to eat for example, 23 points today, you would be able to bank another 4 and have a total of 7 points to use either throughout the week or as a treat on one day. Add another 3 miles of swift walking, and it would give you a total of 10 banked points to use. Nuff said??? Hope you understand it. Good luck!

BTW, I was thinking the same thing as Dee. I would eat a whole potato. Also, I usually count a small pork chop as 4 or 5 points, a small or medium corn on the cob would be 2. I think you had probably 7 or 8 points for dinner. I've found it's better to over estimate, though.

I haven't had time to post my menu's because of working 2 days but I did keep track of them.

I am allowed 22-27 Points Daily!

Tuesday: 26 Points
Wednesday: 27 Points

Thursday:
Breakfast: 1 Cup Wheaties, 1 Cup 2% Milk-(4)
Lunch: Wendy's Spicey Grilled Chicken Sandwich- (9.5)
Medium Dr.Pepper-(3)
Dinner:Smart Ones Beef & Vegetable Rice Bowl (YUM-YUM!)- (5)
Snacks: 13 Animal Crackers-(3)
FF Fudge Popsicle-(2)
Total:26.5

Here's a WW Chicken recipe that sounds easy & great!!!!!!!! :hun:

4 skinless boneless chicken breasts
1 c. ketchup
1 - 12oz can diet cola

Place chicken in a non-stick fry pan. Pour ketchup and diet cola over it. Birng to boil and cover. Reduce heat. Cook 45 min. Uncover and turn up heat and thicken til sauce adheres to chicken.

4 servings
4 points per serving

You WW ladies are doing great. I have discovered something... Even though I am not officially doing WW but am counting calories, it appears I am eating the same types of food as the rest of you. :lol: So it seems I am kind of doing WW after all. Just wasn't figuring points only calories.

I have nothing but admiration for all you girls!! You have jumped on the wagon and are helping each other... it is great. WTG and keep up the good work. We are all going to be slim and trim in no time!!!
